I'm very glad that we are able to see the full thing now, well at least the full reissue of it. Clips of these are scattered around and poorly cut. But I'm glad wean see the full of all them, and the title cards too. Interesting though Will mostly abandoned the slide music, there's some distinct Glissando in the beginning.

Yes. The song was a Universal perennial, appearing in at least four films between 1942 and 1945. I have prints of three and am working on the fourth (HE'S MY GUY)! The other two are SING ANOTHER CHORUS and MURDER IN THE BLUE ROOM.
