Right now all companies are focusing on refinement. It’s not meant to upgrade every year unless you are a tech head. 2 years minimum….like the s23u to the s25 would feel like a difference. I do like the flat side, thinner bezels, and rounded corners. Hopefully the chipset improves battery life which was already great. It’s funny how everything comes full circle. I want to hear the excuse the galaxy owners make now for buying the same phone every year like they accuse iPhone users of buying the same iPhone every year lol. I think the phone is impressive even though physically, it’s not really much innovationbut lots of copying of the iPhone. Their AI features seem to be really helpful. We shall see.
when samsung used to innovate every year it was a problem people felt like their phone they purchased last year became obsolete, so what samsung did was make the phone more powerful, but innovation was the fold & flip series, now people complaining about minor upgrades
Still Rocking my Note10 if you have a phone you wanted to trade in on the Samsung site you can get a S25 Ultra 1TB unlocked for under a 1000.00 something to think about
@Mgodfather123 Was able to get it through a scheme I have at work where it was 15% off. Also with the double gigs pre-order offer, I bought the 528GB version.
Guess I changed my mind! Went with the Black on Black, the BIG BOY exclusive on Samsung website: Jet Black. Unboxing Video coming soon. Galaxy Buds Pro 3 for $41. Hope they really Bump and not all Hype. Time will tell.
I plan to retain my S24 Ultra until the Fold series offers a comparable user experience; specifically, an outer screen with the same width and size as my current device.
First of everyone trying to upgrade from s24 ultra and all you are doing is complaining is corny. Most people don't even use the spen. I'm here for larger screen and camera I had s22 ultra and now on s23 ultra..
CJ my man, I'll be sticking with my S23 Ultra because charging premium prices and reducing features as in bluetooth capabilities does not compute. I'm a heavy S-Pen user and the one step forward one step back ideology every second year by Samsung is beyond a joke. Jack in the box releases, up one year, down the next. As we say in Ireland - "FECK OFF AND GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER" Samsung. Great upload, love from Dublin 🇮🇪.
I seen that they said it was like 1% of people were using it but my question is where do they get their numbers because if it's a Bluetooth part of the phone how would they know who does or does not use their s pen
@@CJKnowsTECH I can't snap photos with te Ring on my S21 Ultra. You can only use that Ring feature with the s22 Ultra and up. I'm excited to use that feature when I get my S25 Ultra.
One of my other tech UA-camrs I can’t remember which one cause I’m so tired. - Anyway, They said that Samsung told them that less than one percent of their users actually used the ability of S pen to take a picture. So they dropped it.
?¿❓⁉️ Okay so I am also a long time Galaxy Note user updated to the s24 ultra with all of the good S-Pen functionality I called Samsung twice today and the second time they connected me to some kind of special support ??? They told me that the camera functionality with the S pen still works and it's a setting that you have to set to make it work and they're using a different type of technology????.......???!!!! Wha Wha I HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY ARE LYING OR NOT HOWEVER I DID PUT IN MY ORDER AND I GUESS I'LL FIND OUT WHEN I GET THE DEVICE I DON'T SEE ANY OF THE REVIEWERS GOING INTO FUNCTION SETTINGS TO SEE IF THEY CAN MAKE THE SPEN WORK WITH THE CAMERA
The chip is the big change. Longer battery life included. I have a 23U and use my phone all day with one charge. So why argue about a bigger battery when you clearly don't need it with the new chip. Also in the US market 45w is still one of the biggest.
I love Samsung and still have my s10 plus and s23 ultra but man I miss DJ Koh because these days it's way too incremental compared to 2019 Samsung they have serious hardware competition from the Chinese phones like Huawei, Honor , Oppo , Xiaomi and Vivo . I'm a Samsung fan but sometimes we have to be honest that we need more hardware like 2019 Samsung. Whether a person uses the spen bluetooth feature is besides the point. Its just another example of samsung lining their pockets and giving less and less each year but still charging top tier prices, and people are absolutely sick of it. They have had enough of samsungs anti consumer anti customer policies and out of control greed. The s25 ultra should have had a 6000mah battery MINIMUM, it should have 16gb ram, and on top of that Samsung want to charge you a monthly subscription for the features you have ALREADY paid for! it is absolutely disgusting behavior, Samsung have no respect for their customers and treat them like shit. They are no better than scam artists and cheats who operate with no decency of fairness and it needs to stop.
And supposedly the reason why they got rid of it was because of lack of use from the majority and to save battery apparently the s pen was always dragging off the battery so why wouldn't they get rid of Bluetooth maybe the next phone they'll bring it back out I would really like an IR blaster myself I've never had one I've always wanted one but I'm not moving away from Samsung
People are funny, the s25 ultra looks amazing and offered enhancements on the camera and speed and more AI. But people always want more. What more do you want from a phone? Hoping for more clarity on this matter with the S-pen soon
I like using my S-pen 🎉
Because clearly majority of people do not use it to care they remoed bluetooth.
Several have already done that... And it doesn't work because the new phone has no menu or charger for it.
Not a fan of rounded corners and no Bluetooth support on S pen = deal breaker.
Yeah, brilliant!!! Let's forego the greatest, fastest and most efficient phone processor in history, just to keep a few RARELY used clicks. Let's give up MUCH better, faster and more efficient memory and Chipset. Let's NOT get the best GPU ever offered on a phone, because we want to click the SPen once or three times a year. It's probably not important to get SEVEN MORE YEARS of support and upgrades, for less than $250 dollars after Trade in discounts... Surely the SPen clicks are more important than a bigger, brighter and more accurate screen, with a brand new digitizer. Or a 40% larger and more effective vapor chamber keeping the phone cooler in hard work loads. Probably can do without the brand new much quicker and more accurate fingerprint sensor... And who needs a 50MP camera with 8K, when you can have a 12MP camera without 8k, just to click the SPen a few times here or there???
Yeah, YOU TELL' UM BILLY!!!! Meanwhile, I'll have my brand new S25 Ultra in a few days (It's coming in Friday), and will ENJOY ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the new things it can do, that you won't be able to do. But you can always claim those few clicks on your SPen... Although I can do most of the important ones with my watch or hand gestures. Lolololol. WOW!!!!
I am not as disappointed that they removed the bluetooth s pen features for 1 major reason. As a galaxy watch owner , I can control my media through the watch and take pictures with the watch as well as gestures. Hold your palm up and take the pic in 2 or 5 seconds.
What storage you get CJ?
512GB not in need of 1TB yet 😂
@CJKnowsTECH
Me too. I've ordered the 512. That was the reason I ordered it..
Never cared for s-pen anyways don't matter to me
I knew CJ was gonna keep everything up front with us 😌
I use my s pen frequently because I prefer to write notes. Never uses the BT features so wont miss them. Torn on whether to switch from s23 ultra.
Good looking out, CJ. I almost ordered the S25 but decided to wait for the Fold 7. Hopefully, it'll be closer to the Fold SE than the Fold 6
Right😂
sticking with my S10 ultra
ther is no s10ultra xD
I only ever use the spen during release when I first get the phone just to say I did then never pull it out again
Great live Stream BTW my brotha
Thanks! I appreciate you pulling up
Ordered my S25 Ultra. We will see if it takes the top spot over my Pixel 9 Pro....
No way in heck am I losing my BT S pen.
when samsung used to innovate every year it was a problem people felt like their phone they purchased last year became obsolete, so what samsung did was make the phone more powerful, but innovation was the fold & flip series, now people complaining about minor upgrades
Still Rocking my Note10 if you have a phone you wanted to trade in on the Samsung site you can get a S25 Ultra 1TB unlocked for under a 1000.00 something to think about
Wasn't feeling it, but then got to pre order for £1061.00 (1TB) plus free Galaxy buds 3. Not too shabby!!
How did you get down to 1061?
@Mgodfather123 Was able to get it through a scheme I have at work where it was 15% off. Also with the double gigs pre-order offer, I bought the 528GB version.
I want the sidekick back with a physical keyboard....thats what I want and inwont stop til i get it
😂
I know I hardly used the Spen when I rolled with Samsung ..I jumped ship after Note 20
Big let down, don't use the s pen a whole lot but for what were paying for an upgrade it's worth keeping s24 ultra
S24 ultra here I come
Guess I changed my mind!
I got a Z Fold 7 video coming soon
I need to upgrade from the s9 so I'll just follow the s25 ultra train lmao
NFC gone, Bluetooth gone...SMH I miss being able to use Samsung pay anywhere and show off, I will stick with my S24 ultra
Nfc gone?
I searched and nfc is available on the s25 ultra
Come on Noah Lyles. You know that's not true
@lenacheney NFC remains, MST is no longer , MST allowed for Samsung pay to work pretty much anywhere. I apologize for the confusion.
NFC is NOT gone, and neither is BT. Learn to use the device, and you can avoid such ridiculous statements.
Ill be honest I haven't used my spen not one time on my s24 ultra. And 400$ with trade in for me is great
First of everyone trying to upgrade from s24 ultra and all you are doing is complaining is corny. Most people don't even use the spen. I'm here for larger screen and camera I had s22 ultra and now on s23 ultra..
Not enough of a difference to trade in my s23 ultra. Will wait to see the new fold or s26
We'll still get the 7 years upgrade?
@@sirhborn yes
You can snap photos with the Galaxy Ring.
So was this a plot to sell more rings 🧐🤔😂....thats dope tho
@@CJKnowsTECH I can't snap photos with te Ring on my S21 Ultra. You can only use that Ring feature with the s22 Ultra and up. I'm excited to use that feature when I get my S25 Ultra.
I'll be early: wait for the S26 Ultra 😂
I end up getting one.
One of my other tech UA-camrs I can’t remember which one cause I’m so tired. - Anyway, They said that Samsung told them that less than one percent of their users actually used the ability of S pen to take a picture. So they dropped it.
Still no Satellite SOS!
Stay in the city! 😂
The s-pen not being Bluetooth is a bit of a disappointment..... but I can access that one samsung watch 6 via Bluetooth..... so there is a work around
WTF, Samsung? THIS man is the place I went for my S25U review. Sort it out
?¿❓⁉️ Okay so I am also a long time Galaxy Note user updated to the s24 ultra with all of the good S-Pen functionality
I called Samsung twice today and the second time they connected me to some kind of special support ???
They told me that the camera functionality with the S pen still works and it's a setting that you have to set to make it work and they're using a different type of technology????.......???!!!! Wha Wha
I HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY ARE LYING OR NOT HOWEVER I DID PUT IN MY ORDER AND I GUESS I'LL FIND OUT WHEN I GET THE DEVICE I DON'T SEE ANY OF THE REVIEWERS GOING INTO FUNCTION SETTINGS TO SEE IF THEY CAN MAKE THE SPEN WORK WITH THE CAMERA
AI is a gimmick especially since they will switch to a subscription at end of this year. I'm still rocking ok Google on my s24 Ultra.
Not upgrading because of the S Pen change
Let down. Straight up
They already took some of the s pen functionality away over 2 months ago. Try controlling your yourube videos with it. It doesn't work anymore.
The chip is the big change. Longer battery life included. I have a 23U and use my phone all day with one charge. So why argue about a bigger battery when you clearly don't need it with the new chip. Also in the US market 45w is still one of the biggest.
Watched the the livestream to confirm the snapdragon chip haha
The 16 gig is available in Korea, China, and Taiwan when buying the 1TB version. Samsung = Samesung
Samsung WTF invite my boiiii out there with the New Device 😎😎
Pre order canceled me and my friends big letdown smh
Never used the Bluetooth feature on the S-Pen so I don't care. Today I upgraded from my 23 Ultra to the Titanium Blue 25 Ultra!!! Yes,sir!!!
Nice
wish they used gemini to upgrade there phoned hardware
It's a downgrade forget about it.. At this point in time a faster chip doesn't make any difference in my daily life..
I will say the Snapdragon Elite is cool but this is too incremental compared to the Chinese competition and im a Samsung fan but we have to be honest . I might seriously consider xiaomi or honor or Huawei or another android
Big time let down im not upgrading s24 ultra instead I always use the S-Pen
I had to upgrade cos my s24 ultra always heating up alot. RiP to my s pen. I always use that for street selfie photography. 😢

But you can always claim those few clicks on your SPen... Although I can do most of the important ones with my watch or hand gestures. Lolololol. WOW!!!!
I have a fold 6 and hardly use the pen lol
I had two more payment left on my phone (I keep my phones)... I had every intention to upgrade... I heard no Bluetooth s pen... Nope I'll wait.. Yes it's small but there's nothing but being faster so I'll wait
4:45 bro, last year we agreed both of us are light skin😅. Bringing the intro in 2025, Nice...
Very nice video
Maybe don't call it Ultra anymore
They are no better than scam artists and cheats who operate with no decency of fairness and it needs to stop.
s25 is a rounder s24 ultra taking away bluetooth from the spen and samsung dex not working with one ui 7 when plugging your phone to laptop.
These phones already give us so much, they're basically computers in our pocket. But some people go crazy for iphone's new emojies 🤣🤣🤣 just like the s24 ultra the s25 ultra will be the phone of the year. That phone looks amazing. Getting mine feb 7th in black! #samsungisking
This is the year to skip. Not worth it.
It's for that stupid 25w wireless charging!
That's what we were all hoping for... disappointed asf in the no Bluetooth spen
ℹ️ Nothing Phone(1)/iPhone 13 Pro user.
I'm not disappointed with the new Galaxy because I didn't expect anything drastically new. The market is mature, Samsung doesn't have any competitor in western countries so all S25 are just a new iteration
they can add all the pixel features they want its still not a pixel
The thing that pissing me off the most is them charging for Gemini after 6 months. Wtf
That's the normal device. Ultra is free 1 year.
I got the jet black version but only cos my s24u has grainy screen Samsung QC is terrible
