You don't mess with Google do you?
@massiveaction6217 I actually do but they stopped sending me devices…🤷🏾♂️
@CJKnowsTECH oh wow. That explains why I couldn't find any pixel 9 reviews on your channel. @google
What's the deal?
Tbh I like the look of the rounded corners
I dig my S24 Ultra.
Nothing is really changing anymore with these phones besides the Chip Set & this S24 Ultra is a beast. I don't use the AI features anyway.
Iwant Samsung to stop holding back on battery tech. We need bigger and faster charging. Chinese phones are blowing us away with hardware
I thought years back there was rumors of Samsung working on some new battery tech but…it’s been crickets 🦗
Probably cautious about them exploding
True. Samsung gives us a leftover battery and old tech. Not silicon carbide.
Totally agree. Some phones are charging at 120W which is crazy. With the charger in the box at that.
Agreed!
I'm finally gonna pull the trigger on an S Ultra device again. I still have my S 21 Ultra. I hate the 22 thru the 24 because it was too wide and bulky. Now, they slimmed it down and rounded the corners. I'm getting it. I still think the S 21 Ultra was the best looking. Gonna keep mine until it falls apart.
1000%! Imo, the S21u is the best-looking phone so far...
S24 ULTRA IN THE HOUSE!!!!!
I think the S25 Ultra is still to much like the S24 Ultra, and that said...I'm sticking with my S24 Ultra for now.
I've been waiting to come back home to Galaxy/Android One UI for a few years now from iPhone. I am just missing the customization mostly and prefer it. I am personally pumped. I've been saving for 2 years now in anticipation. I've never had an ultra version before so that is my aim - although I don't prefer large phones - I want those cameras. The S25 slim intrigues me too though so I'm not sure which one I'll actually get.
Samsung better not remove S-Pen function
Bluetooth
Yes they already did.
@@mikoyeshiro963 boycott and they will return it.
S24 ultra still got it but S25 took it away 😂
Dont upgrade, and you don't have to worry about it
As a gamer, I believe Samsung and iPhone, as leading phone brands, should focus on enhancing their battery technology. Chinese brands now offer not only superior battery performance but also overall better features at more affordable prices, making them increasingly appealing to consumers.
I have s23 ultra and will be getting s25 ultra which supposedly has even better battery efficiency...my s23 with the snapdragon gen 2 and I can EASILY get a day watching videos and stuff @ highest screen settings and snapdragon elite is supposed to be more efficient, but I guess they could have added some more battery in there with the extra grams they lost off the phone and I wouldn't have been upset...but lighter is better too. So I think it's a W either way.
A day of battery life is still great. Plus, you are getting the same AI features and the same dex option too.
You would lose out on the 10x zoom camera that is only available on the S23 Ultra, which is great for watching your kids from a distance or finding their missing toys under couches.
If Samsung took pictures like the pixel phones, it would be fire
The S25 Ultra is not for S24 Ultra owners. Maybe not even for S23U owners. Its for older device owners and possibly other brand owners. With that being said, I'm a S23 Ultra owner and I'm upgrading 😊
Finally corners! I'm on blood thinners and always got bruising from the sharp edges on my note 20 ultra when in my pocket
I like the sharp corners for looks.. especially for a Note-like phone, but rounded does feel better in the hand.. definitely NOT a fan of the SPen DOWNGRADE... I always used the SPen for photo taking.
I honestly just want to go back to the days of complete software on flagships.
Features within 3 months of release and not feeling like a beta tester for being and early adoptor of high end device.
Would be so happy.
It’s crazy how we have really reached peak smartphone. I don’t think there’s much more they can do with current tech. Rumors is they have a s25 Slim version coming out. Wonder where they got that idea from 🤔😂
Def not true just Samsung and Apple are boring
@ besides Camera, screen, and battery, what else can be done to make phones exciting again?
Not much of a difference, so I will be keeping my S24 Ultra! Also I think the S25 looks Ugly.
The S24 Ultra is a more beautiful phone than the S25 Ultra
CJ Always A Great Video covering all. My only gripes are Battery and Don't mess with what made the Device. The S-Pen. Thank You.💯✌️🔥
S22 Ultra user and I've toyed with the idea of upgrading every release and have not found justification. The phone is still solid feature wise, photo wise, space wise, and surprisingly enough battery wise. I've upgraded my watch and eaebuds over the phones at this point of the Samsung lifecycle.
Not really for those that have a Samsung S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra. Maybe worth upgrading from the Samsung S22 Ultra or earlier versions.
FYI...I love my S23 Ultra with 10x zoom.
I'm wondering if spen will have Bluetooth functionality. If not I may skip, don't want to pay for a down grade
Great content. Doesn't matter about round or square. Most people put their phones in cases. As for battery it would be nice if they up the battery to a 5,500mh or 5,700 mh. I would like to see a 3k screen, weve been having the 2k screen for a long long time
let's just say the hardware improvements are so minor from the S23U, that i would probably feel a little guilty forking the money over, knowing they're not offering anything that i need at the moment.
I’m excited for the new phone. I been wanting to switch back to Samsung after having Apple for 6 years and the 25 ultra will be perfect.
Used to be type who upgraded every year.. but that stopped with S22U.. there's no reason to upgrade your device every year anymore . Unless you do so for the fun if it.. every 2 to 3 years or so is more than fine
I prefer the boxy style always
CJ! What glasses are these? Brand and model please.
👓 My Glasses I'm wearing: geni.us/MyGlassesRoundOnes
If they go more Straight and "sharp" like they did on Fold6 i am all in for it. :)) Just hope they did go for solid battery type like OnePlus did this year. :))
Yes the always on display needs to go back to where we can adjust the brightness.
Picked up S24+ in 2024, so won't be upgrading. Looking forward to other Samsung products. Old Note 10+ user, I do miss S-Pen on the phone, but Tab S9 has helped. Great video as usual.
not much of a upgrade
I have the s23 ultra. Battery is not a problem, the corners of the phone are a problem. The only reason I'm upgrading is the rounded corners. I like rocking mine naked
I’m happy with refinements. We’ve already established that manufacturers aren’t thinking so much about people who upgrade every year. However, people are still losing their 💩 when these devices are launching because they’re iterative updates.
right
They care when they lose market share for 8 consecutive quarters. Or in Samsung case don’t seem to care. 😂
TBF I think the frustration is because we can see other manufacturers taking over with the latest technology.
New larger mah silicon batteries with faster charging and they're using the newer M14 screen which Samsung produce, but Samsung want to cut back on Costs and use their more inefficient M13 screen technology in the S25 line.
Samsung is being like Apple. Come on Samsung!! 🙄
😂 I told you so! Look 👀 what people are saying. Same as Apple 📱. The games have started. Samsung you fishing. Then pulled back. Looks people will do the same. 👈
I keep buying both every year… and I don’t feel no difference anymore 🥲
@@bryan8404 Waste of money
@@bryan8404 i have in the past, but wont this year. ill wait to see if the camera tech is improved in 26. The s24 ultra suits me just fine for now.
@BlackBeard-1680 i pre order the s25U lol
S24 until they make a big change 😊
I'm currently using S20 FE. If they don't downgrade the SPen, I will switch to S25 Ultra.
They truly have hit a wall... 3d or holographic screen would be nice.
I'm just happy my CJ is back. One more week and I was going to cancel UA-cam 😅❤
I need samsung to make there speaker's have more bass it's not good to me in the same phone.
Could there some upgrades it's needed
Why is Samsung not at 5500 Mah by now at the least. The ultra ain't even ultra any more.
I'm going to be honest with you for me. It's a very welcome change adding those rounded corners. I noticed a hot take but I thought the s24 ultra was an ugly device. It was just way too squared off to appeal to me personally, but this new look I think fits very well and it doesn't really look like an iPhone to me, even though it's a little bit more of a softer corner than previously
I"m not buying the S25 Ultra. It's not much different from the S24 Ultra however I like the round shape of the phone. I'm probably going to upgrade when the S26 Ultra comes. I do like the 25 Wireless Charging feature and it will most likely spill over to future S Phones. I think Samsung pushed charging us for AI to Early 2026.
One of these days I think I'm going to switch to one of those chinese flagship phones just to experience them. Samsung really needs to catch up with them in terms of hardware. But I won't deny that Samsung still has the best software experience for Android side.
I’m about to make the switch from Apple to Samsung, and I’m on the fence between the 25 ultra and the Fold 7. My question is which would you choose?
Careful with that battery 😂... remember the Note 7 😮
Any phone within the last three years is hype. However each iteration of devices have some nice subtle improvements. Yearly upgrades are still not the best for noticing major differences. As far as the s25u, i think the snap dragon x elite is going to be a nice upgrade for all the things you’ve said, I don’t think it needs a bigger battery and there is probably a reason it hasn’t been made bigger. I am very appreciative of the slightly rounded corners now while still retaining that rectangle candy bar for factory that does not look like an iPhone. I think between my 16pm and further s25u I don’t think i will be upgrading either for at least two cycles. I’ve used both phones side by side for the past 14 years and these two are top tier. I just hope Samsung retains the s pen blue tooth features. If you haven’t ordered it I pre ordered the Dbrand Ghost 2.0 case with some skins. I got it for the 16pm and it’s fantastic. Great job CJ as always. Let’s get it!
I meant to say Snapdragon 8 Elite* 😂
I still have a galaxy S10 and it's time for an upgrade.
It’s hard to argue for Samsung anymore. They playing it safe and not innovating any more. 😢. They don’t seem to care they’re losing market share quarter over quarter. Pretty soon it won’t be much left.
I thought I saw something about not being able to use the S-Pen as a camera clicker or for air gestures
Yep it's rumoured that there won't be Bluetooth technology with the S-pen on the S25 ultra.
They didn’t do enough for me to upgrade from my S23U. Guess I’m waiting another year.
I'm currently using an iphone 16 pro max. Before that I had a s23 Ultra and before that an S22 Ultra, S21 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Iphone 10 and a Note 8. Out of those phones the Note 8 and S21 Ultra were the best. Everything after that was the same. The only reason I grabbed the 16 pro max was because I needed something different. They should've kept the bluetooth in the s pen. I controlled my music with that.
23 ultra still last all day. Upgrading for the new chip. They make phones that last, don't need to upgrade really every 4 to 5 years to be truthful.
I still have the s22 ultra. Is the camera better on the s25 ultra? And how?
I currently have an iPhone X and have been waiting to see the S25 Ultra before making the jump. Would you guys advise I just get a good deal on the S24 Ultra or hold out?
Just go for s24 ultra
If the battery life on the 5000mah battery isn't enough for you, you should probably put your phone down every once in a while and live life.
😂 I’m fine but I speak for the comments I see from heavy users
@ Didn’t mean you specifically man, just speaking generally.
I have the 23 Ultra, and won't be upgrading until the s27 Ultra. No need in upgrading these devices every year anymore; they've reached their pinnacle
5000 mAH is still standard nowadays. Probably they didn't have the Si/C tech ready yet. At least you can now have qi2 and OneUI still has bypass charging. As well as 8 elite. We might see new battery tech on the Slim version tho. Still, I want to see what are they cooking with their AI this time. The new design is still so so. Hardware is just meh considering the incremental upgrades.
Am skipping the s25 ultra this year.i dont feel it am keeping my s24 ultra, until next year
I have S24 Ultra. I'm not going anywhere 🎉
I’m keeping my titanium gray 24Ultra. Matter of fact, I got a new fresh battery coming in. And the new Bixby and UI 7 is coming to 24Ultra anyway. 24U is just better looking in my opinion.
why do the cameras look like vinyl records don't like that
I like the round corner
Im a fan of the ultras, plus and folds. Battery life for me is good because I use android auto between appointments.
Will the S Pen 🖊️ have blue tooth feature I heard it was going away.
The slightly rounded corners of the S25 ultra looks nothing like the iPhone. Y'all stop saying everything looks like the iPhone. The iPhone wasn't the first phone with rounded corners and certainly won't be the last. Let's stop acting like Apple invented rounded corners.
Touched a nerve I see😂 it’s a troll but it does hold some weight
@CJKnowsTECH LOL... The thing is, I've seen other reviewers review other phones that have rounded corners and they all say the phones look like the iPhone, and then i compare their looks and find out that they look absolutely nothing like the iPhone. Heard it repeatedly from reviewers and felt like it was becoming a bit boring saying everything looks like the iPhone. 😅
The 5000 mah battery is fine as long as the processor is making it more power efficient. The S24 Ultra battery life is really good. So it can only get better .
As an S21 Ultra owner, it's bout time I upgrade bro 😂 Now if I had an S22-S24 Ultra or a Note 8/9 it's not a huge upgrade so I definitely understand both sides
You can buy a case for it that will probably have the squared edges.
It should be called the Samsung Galaxy Same 25 Ultra!!! 😂
I prefer a phone with SUBSTANCE. The more weight the better. Also being slim is dumb. Big batteries. You want it slim but you want a bigger battery than 5000. Iphones dont have 5000 lol
Big miss if that price is correct
Those rounded corners have nothing to do with Apple😂Samsung is just listening to users complain about the sharp corners of the s22 to s24Ultra
Not upgrading from my S24 ultra 1TB just for a few tweaks of a camera and new snapdragon hardly even see a difference
I welcome the curve back, but I'm ready to see the new ultra watch
CJ, being CJ!!🥰🤗😉☕️
boxy or curve I prefer boxyYou got to put a case on it either way or end up cracking it before the damn years out So stop complaining peeps about corners
I have a note 10 plus I need a upgrade it worth it.
Nope... no improvement to battery or charging... I'm probably going to switch to Oneplus this year, maybe wait to see what the Open 2 looks like. Battery life is one of my biggest things as someone who works 12 hour shifts with a lot of time spent on my phone. My 23 ultra dies about 10 hrs into my shift... oneplus 13 looks WAY more appealing to me at this point. Especially for the money
Dependa what you're getting it for
Not a fan. I don't like the look. I decided to grab an s24 ultra instead. Just prefer the look and there's nothing that's too exciting that makes me wanna pick that one up instead
NO change means no upgrade,
And still everything is mostly the same, except for the chip as you wouldn't even tell the difference if never used the s24 ultra , S23 ULTRA, S22 ULTRA.
shape, as to ram if wanting the bigger memory.
And the battery, all depends what you leave on and what you do with the phone,
S24 of today will backs a punch, despite Samsung with these blasted bugs they haven't fixed on the camera when zooming in,
And same with the s-pen, where rumours are they are doing away with the Bluetooth built in it,
but square or rounded, when you hold the blasted phone, in the middle,
And this AI is completely crap all round as to goggles' AI, and if rumours are correct, Samsung are Indian givers because they give you it free, now 2025, they will charge you,
I'll keep the S24 for as long as its hold up with updates, as I'm losing faith in Samsung.
especially with still no SD card slot, like there was in the Note20 Ultra as that was the last time on a flagship, except the a SERIES,
Nah I'm good with my s20 Ultra 🫡 40mp front cam won't be beat.
The curved corner demasculated the Note 25.
So what I'm hearing is the S series is better than the Z Fold. Got it!
Is buying the same iPhone every year smart move or a big mistake
So what you’re saying is it’s OK for Samsung to become Apple? Just curious because “buying the same phone” every year used to be seen as something “negative” but now it’s OK once Samsung does it or did Apple have it right all along? Just a thought
@ Samsung is not becoming apple. Last time I checked, Apple doesn’t make folding devices.
That phone gone flop
I would like a bump to 6,000 mAh battery.
I know you've done good business with Samsung and Apple.. but hardware is starting to win out clearly. The phone is expensive for no reason.. antiquated as a matter of fact.. Vivo OPPO and Xiaomi. Are killing them.. real chargers that come in the box.. 6000 milliamp batteries.. better cameras.. and are more available.. Samsung is a Nokia
For s 25 ultra no thank you
8000 mamps.
I find the rounded corners on thinner phones less attractive to me, I perfer squared corners and heavier phone which I prefer. Samsung Military offers more attractive preorder and pricing.
The first year I will not be upgrading
Samsung is boring I’ve never been excited for any Samsung phone especially now at least Apple gave us a new button and free ai features
Lol , new button.? Yup. It only took apple 5 generations for that 😂
They need a bigger battery 5800 miliamp
The new battery is coming in the s26
Same design. Yawn
Why don't you ever talk about apple sheep like you do samsung knight ls? 🤔🤔
Apple Sheep don't talk nearly as much ish as Samsung Knights😂...the most combative comments come from that way. That's why it's simple
@CJKnowsTECH ain't no way you don't be seeing them attack us lol that's where it be coming from
Apple fan boy 🤦♂️
Let me guess: Android fanboy 😂
@CJKnowsTECH fuck no, work at apple for years engineering apple way behind. I leave in Japan miles in front of the world
It literally looks identical to last year's 🙄
Really doesn't 😂
Is the screen size 6.9?
