If I didn’t send offers to likers I would have hardly any sales. Like you 95% of my sales are a result. Hands down my favorite part of poshmark. I just overprice and send steep offers.

Excellent advice. I, too, just realized I was getting too attached to the value of each item instead of thinking of my inventory as one unit. I'll STILL profit even if I didn't sell a dress that retailed for $300 that I only paid $8 for, if I sell it for $50. Or, because I made the mistake of buying things for way too much money in the beginning, they've been sitting there for six months. I just need to let them go and take the loss on each item, and move it along, now that I know better than to buy a shirt for $18 thinking it's a great deal because it retailed for $200 at one time. I'll STILL profit overall. Thanks!
I agree with Nicole re: buying things for little money. I've bought new sunglasses for $2, sold for $12, tops I paid $1 (brand new) at sample sales, sold for $15, 20. I was thrilled at making a profit. Each day I work it and it is growing. Happy poshing to all!

So I tried this today-sent offers that are usually the type I end up sending eventually anyway, but today, I just went straight into my generous offer bag. Not only did I get more sales from OTLs, but I guess by letting go of what I think I “should” be getting for each item, I seemed to attract people who made offers of their own. Great tips Nicole, thank you. I'm new to Poshmark (april 2020) When someone likes something in my closet, I place it in a bundle for them. I send them a message if they are interested in buying this item, add another item for 10% discount, reduced shipping. On top of this discount I will reduce further. This has resulted in sales. I'll admit that I have been very close-minded in regards to my business, thinking only in terms of individual sales; however, there is so much more to the bigger picture that actually matter more than a single sale (I actually think this is good life advice, too; don't focus on the small things when the bigger picture usually has more of an impact). I've actually been using the offer/bundle option a lot, I usually do it on my days off from work and usually sell a few things. I like doing bundles better then sending a offer to all since you're forced to add a shipping discount 😅 There was a dress I bought for $1 plus tax it was NWT and someone offered me $15 so I definitely took it, great advice!

I’m sure it does but at the same time I know a lot of resellers who do better than me without social media, the first people to make over a million on poshmark didn’t use social media at all!
Have you ever had anyone get annoyed when you add something to their bundle? I've seen posts on the Poshmark subreddit of people who get irritated when sellers create bundles for them. Not going to lie, I don't love it when I get those styling notifications, so I'm hesitant to send offers that way because I don't want people to get turned off.
I've only ever been annoying at someone styling me when its something I never went in and "liked" on poshmark. Just some random person adding random items in a bundle for me
I only bundle their likes when doing an individual OTL, I’ve thought about adding an accessory like a belt or sunglasses but haven’t done it yet. I can’t stand “pushy” sales people myself! I guess there’s a fine line between suggesting and being “pushy”🤷🏻♀️

I gave this technique a try today. After listing and doing my shipping I sat down for about an hour and went back probably 50 or 60 likes. I created bundles and I sent out offers. So far I’ve already made as much as I usually do during the weekdays. It works 🥳

I've been doing this and STILL nothing. I honestly think that influencers on UA-cam and Instagram get higher traffic and sales. NOTHING wrong with that at all and genuinely happy for all of you who help us with your videos. ... but I'm about to give up on Poshmark. Everyone prices stuff around 20 to 30 and I discount down to likers to 13 to 15 dollars with NO sales even items I have for 7 dollars STILL doesn't sell. And I have anthro, Nike etc....the only thing I think I need to do is get my closet full of more items. I currently have 400 items and I've made only 78 dollars this month. Sigh. I still love u Nicole and still gave thumbs up on this video.
You can be successful on poshmark without social media. I don’t want people to read this comment & get discouraged reading it. I make between $1-2k a month & I’ve never had over 300 items in my closet & don’t have a strong social media presence. I share every day & only list a handful of times a month.

I think they do too. They are out there with a face and promoting and I think it attracts buyers and a following. Also keep in mind that these sellers often have thousands of items for sale. It’s a numbers game. The more you list, the more you sell.
Our Senior Adventures which part is holding you up? Know you can always go back in and edit if you want...get those pics up, add a good title, etc...you can also use the voice text feature on your phone etc

Hi Nicole, great tip! I do send offers to likers, usually 20% or more. I create bundles for them if they like more than one item, however, after watching this video, I am going to try what you do and just put their one liked item in a bundle and see how that goes. I have found that I have discounted things from closet clear out so many times I can't reduce anymore and then I get likes but absolutely can't send offers on the items that are my rock bottom. I may send a message and tell them this is my lowest price but if they find another item or two, maybe I can do the free ship and they will feel like they are getting a good deal. It's definitely time consuming to send offers, but like you say, it's going to result in sales.

Granite, nearly all I sell is stuff I inherited from family, but some have sold, but seeing as I didn't actually pay for any of it myself puts a different perspective now on my why I want it gone/sold.

Hey Nicole. I share my closet 3-5 times a day. I attend the parties, I offer discounts to likers (20% minimum usually more) I create bundles for people who have liked a “sale” item ie 5/$25 etc. and send a nice note. I promote on IG ( where I have over 2000 followers I know not great but ok for me) Twitter (where I have a UA-camr that has 500,000 followers sharing my closet daily) tumbler and Pinterest. I’m still not doing great. I have a lot of NWT items. Most everything is priced at $20 and below. With a few exceptions. So I dont know if it’s the brands I have or the look of my closet. Or maybe I just don’t have enough inventory. I’m at about 110 right now. And even brand new items I still sell at at least 50% off. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I really need to try and make this a career until we are out of the woods with this virus because my daughter is disabled with compromised immune system. She will have a very slim chance of survival (not trying for a pity party just trying to drive home how important it is for me to try and make a little profit )so I can’t really work outside the home right now. Sorry I know that was too much info. Kinda venting. I love your channel and your closet. Oh and I also cross list on Mercari which I’ve sold almost nothing there. 😢 thank you so much for all your tips. I don’t think I would have made as many sales, if it weren’t for your advice 😊

yes!!! aggressive offers all day. I liked an item on posh lately and the seller but it in a bundle and offered a whopping 8% off with no shipping discount. I love sending 30-50% off to get people going :)

I don’t do Poshmark any other 3rd sites I only do Amazon eBay I have an idea and Mercari isn’t that great either but like I said I have something in mind that nobody does so I’ll listen to your video I don’t do social media I know how the show is going to go high. I have sent offers to likers so much and no one ever responds, offers, or buys. Or people will create a bundle and never respond. A few days ago a lady created an EIGHT item bundle (so obviously they are interested), I sent an offer and a comment and they NEVER responded or counter offered. This happens to me all the time and I rarely ever get sales.... but I’m still gonna try.
Yes! I had someone create a huge bundle, comment that they would pay less than half for thr bundle. I stewed on it for a few hours because I felt so deflated about not going to make what I thought on those items. Eventually I figured what the heck sure itll be a small profit but profit none the less. I sent the offer and NO response! Who does that. Then a couple days later shes adding more to her bundle....🤦♀️

Nicole State I am trying out offers to likers via bundle and I like it! I’m doing it hand in hand with a BOGO sale, in my previous line of work BOGO sales were always my fave to run but I hadn’t figured out the best way to pull that off on Posh yet. This might work great we will see...!

How do you list an item in six minutes? I need to know because I seem to take a lot longer and it’s driving me crazy.

I regularly send 20% off offers and occasionally 30% offers without much return. I get better results from eBay.

Hi Nicole, great tip! I do send offers to likers, usually 20% or more. I create bundles for them if they like more than one item, however, after watching this video, I am going to try what you do and just put their one liked item in a bundle and see how that goes. I have found that I have discounted things from closet clear out so many times I can't reduce anymore and then I get likes but absolutely can't send offers on the items that are my rock bottom. I may send a message and tell them this is my lowest price but if they find another item or two, maybe I can do the free ship and they will feel like they are getting a good deal. It's definitely time consuming to send offers, but like you say, it's going to result in sales.

Hello Nic.. thank you for this video!! Been wondering if I have or haven't been going at selling my items the right way. Granite, nearly all I sell is stuff I inherited from family, but some have sold, but seeing as I didn't actually pay for any of it myself puts a different perspective now on my why I want it gone/sold.

Hey Nicole. I share my closet 3-5 times a day. I attend the parties, I offer discounts to likers (20% minimum usually more) I create bundles for people who have liked a “sale” item ie 5/$25 etc. and send a nice note. I promote on IG ( where I have over 2000 followers I know not great but ok for me) Twitter (where I have a UA-camr that has 500,000 followers sharing my closet daily) tumbler and Pinterest. I’m still not doing great. I have a lot of NWT items. Most everything is priced at $20 and below. With a few exceptions. So I dont know if it’s the brands I have or the look of my closet. Or maybe I just don’t have enough inventory. I’m at about 110 right now. And even brand new items I still sell at at least 50% off. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I really need to try and make this a career until we are out of the woods with this virus because my daughter is disabled with compromised immune system. She will have a very slim chance of survival (not trying for a pity party just trying to drive home how important it is for me to try and make a little profit )so I can’t really work outside the home right now. Sorry I know that was too much info. Kinda venting. I love your channel and your closet. Oh and I also cross list on Mercari which I’ve sold almost nothing there. 😢 thank you so much for all your tips. I don’t think I would have made as many sales, if it weren’t for your advice 😊

yes!!! aggressive offers all day. I liked an item on posh lately and the seller but it in a bundle and offered a whopping 8% off with no shipping discount. I love sending 30-50% off to get people going :)

how long do you wait after they like an item before sending out the offer? i usually do it within 5 mins to see if they like something else
Do you normally wait a little bit to send an offer so they have time to think about it or do you send an offer immediately after them liking?

I like to “strike while the iron is hot” ! If anyone is like me, often I’ll jump on for a few mins then right back off. Catch them in the moment is my theory! We all buy with our emotions anyway, gotta take advantage of that!
Tara BzZyy 💯 agree!! That "warm" contact is an excellent opportunity. Not all will buy, but most are READY to buy. KWIM? As a shopper, even if I don't accept an offer, I've found I return to shop sellers who make offers to me. They noticed my interest and made a connection, Of course it's just marketing, but we are emotional creatures!

I don’t do Poshmark any other 3rd sites I only do Amazon eBay I have an idea and Mercari isn’t that great either but like I said I have something in mind that nobody does so I’ll listen to your video I don’t do social media I know how the show is going to go high. My friend has his own network, I can blow out these sales

Awesome video, great content, you painted the picture very well. I found myself shaking my head up and down through the whole thing like I know this is correct.
I have sent offers to likers so much and no one ever responds, offers, or buys. Or people will create a bundle and never respond. A few days ago a lady created an EIGHT item bundle (so obviously they are interested), I sent an offer and a comment and they NEVER responded or counter offered. This happens to me all the time and I rarely ever get sales.... but I’m still gonna try.
Yes! I had someone create a huge bundle, comment that they would pay less than half for thr bundle. I stewed on it for a few hours because I felt so deflated about not going to make what I thought on those items. Eventually I figured what the heck sure itll be a small profit but profit none the less. I sent the offer and NO response! Who does that. Then a couple days later shes adding more to her bundle....🤦♀️
Hey Nicole you look beautiful in this video/refreshed/back in the groove, nice necklace too. When you add their like item in a bundle do you ever add an item that they put in the bundle before and never gotten back to you on that offer?

Nicole State I am trying out offers to likers via bundle and I like it! I’m doing it hand in hand with a BOGO sale, in my previous line of work BOGO sales were always my fave to run but I hadn’t figured out the best way to pull that off on Posh yet. This might work great we will see...!

Nicole, That is the best information ever. I just started o Poshmark and am struck from moving forward because I cant figure out how to do simple things. I have spent hours on trying to figure out how to start a bundle for a buyer and how to send a offer to a like. Any help would be so appreciated.
