Thank you!
Finally! Lol jk but I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I’m glad Lisa got to get a short paddle in as well
Haha I try to upload as much as I can handle so sometimes they are far and few between. This year will be similar since my schedule is roughly the same. Massive edits to be released though. I think you’ll dig it! Yeah we both would’ve like to paddle more but time and storms cut it short. Oh well!
Thanks for another inspiring video, Gatewood! My wife and I re-watched several of them last night and can't wait to camp again! What light bar did you use here?
Wow that’s awesome thank you to the Duncan family for that! Really enjoy having y’all along for the ride. The light bar was one I found on Amazon but really enjoy it. Just search on Amazon the following:
ASOKO LED Under Cabinet Lighting USB Plug-in, Dimmable, 3 Color Changing( 2700K, 4000K,6000K), 14.5 in, Under Counter Lights for Kitchen, Shelf, Cupboard, Under Desk Light, Monitor USB Light Bar
@GatewoodBrown We now have that light bar heading our way Saturday! Thanks for EVERYTHING! Earlier this week, we received our 2 garage sale tan hip packs and got them in our hand today after returning from a fishing trip, and we're super pumped!!!!! 🤙
Awesome video sir.
Thanks Ernst! I appreciate ya stopping by
Not sure I can afford sticking with you as a subscriber. Gotta get me one of those Ignic Fire Cans! And of course a couple of those Remote Design Duffles once available.
Ha! I will so it’s an advantage getting to test gear but I still have to control my spending on gear! Duffels should be rad!!
Good stuff I love your videos. The trees were amazing. What model canoe is that that you’re using?
Thanks Alan! This was the old town solo discovery 119. It’s a brilliant craft! Love it for calm water
Seems like the gunnels would stay low to the water and not be affected by wind as much
@@alanfields3356 This is true! Which also makes you need to take into account waves coming into the boat. On a windy day on an open water lake I'd leave this one at home for a kayak that can take waves.
I have been a fellow H-Town subscriber of your channel for the last few years and I love the drone shots you get. I have a DJI Drone as well the mini but the range is terrible on it what drone do you use and how do achieve such an excellent range signal? Thanks and would also love to know if you are bringing back the zipper backpack bought one for myself and wanted to get an additional one for packing kids stuff.
H town represent! I’ve used a mavic 2 pro mostly but just upgraded to the mavic 3 classic. Wow, the 3 is outstanding and such a massive step up in quality. Highly recommend! Zippered backpacks should be out in 2024
@@GatewoodBrown Gracias, and look forward to snagging another backpack next year.
@@selenarodriguez9538 I appreciate that a bunch! Helps to fuel these trips in a big way. Thank you!
I really love your videos...and hopefully you take this a compliment...but I wish to your video were longer there Soo good but Soo short.
That’s the ultimate compliment for sure! And ya know I did my best to let this one run as long as possible as you may be able to tell with the clip lengths. I do have two long videos in the works!
@@GatewoodBrown awesome looking forward to them...I got a massive kayaking trip for 3 week around Victoria Australia ..around the lake n beaches...and these videos give extra inspiration for this trip coming.
Whoa that’ll be amazing! Australia is stunnin and definitely a place I’d like to visit
What canoe you paddling?
This is the solo discovery 119 by old town! Super easy to throw and go
do you have a pin/coordinates to the start of this trail? Trying to find somewhere like this to camp in October. Thanks!
🤙
Cheers Robert!
Bro I love your channel but why the propane jawn?
Thanks! A few reasons, the rain was going to prevent having a fire out in the open so the propane worked great under a pavilion. I also enjoy using cool gear and this definitely falls under that. I've used this propane fire in the past and it works great for camping trips where burn bans or fire limitations are present!
Ok. I see your point. I'm just a more natural kind of guy. I love a good fire while out kayak camping. Cheers from the Philly suburbs! Keep up the good work my dude!
@@jlansdale536 Oh no doubt! Can't beat a natural fire which is what we always do in the river bed. But this is a good tool for car camping
Gonna have to research this one. Thank you.
@@jlansdale536 Definitely worth consideration! I also use it at home since I dont have a fire pit or fireplace in the house. Comes in handy and you don't smell like smoke after haha
Nice video.
Check out car camping tents & overland vehicle awnings.
Yes! I’ve been looking for an awning which would’ve been so helpful for this trip. Luckily the pavilion was close but for dinner and a fire
Glamper...
By what definition?
@@GatewoodBrown didn't expect a reply from the actual uploader, awesome video. Mad props. But just using all these inflatables in your Jeep, it felt like you might as well have had an RV. Maybe I'm just more of a fan of the videos where people rough it a little more. Hence you're a glamper not a camper. (I feel like a dick, sorry) the video is amazing and I am subscribed
That’s all good man! Everyone is entitled to their own perspective about something. I do reply to every comment though, which is unlike a lot of creators. You may like my other videos if you prefer roughing it. This was just a fun trip with my wife and tried something new out
What PFD are you using?
The astral ringo! Absolutely love it
@@GatewoodBrown bet it’s either that or I buy this vintage Patagonia pfd for the drip
