Got the S24 Ultra after being on iPhone the last 3 years. I absolutely love it. It might be more phone than I need, but this thing is so good at basically everything that I never worry about problems while using it.
Good that you highlight the need for Samsung to upgrade the ultrawide and the telephoto camera hardware. For a normal daily user with no heavy tasks running on my phone, the only incentive for me to upgrade from S23 to S25 would be camera improvements. And just like the screen has a natural color mode, I think they need to add a natural mode to the camera. The output of the camera on the same scene in a photo vs video is comically different with the photos over saturated and brightened. Especially with the sky, it turns a gloomy day into spring just for the sake of appreciation. Since it cannot do its over processing in videos, the output is much more realistic.
5:50 One UI Core is not based on Android Go, It's based on Android, it was just a stripped down version of One UI. That's it it just lacked some specific features from One UI otherwise it had every other thing thing that it's android version had to offer. Nowadays most new phones of the A,M,F Series run One UI not the full S Series flagship version but it has most of it.
Maybe you should address it in a video or in some way. Also no hard feelings but I have watched most of your videos and it seems to me that you have very little idea about Samsung phones outside the S series.
Never heard of Galaxy M or F to be honest. And yeah these inaccuracies ideally shouldn't happen, but the stakes aren't exactly very high, I mean I don't think enthusiasts who care about the specifics are going to be going out of their way to seek out A series devices. They don't really advertise or market them at all, and they're typically relegated to a small back corner of any Samsung store, Best Buy, or carrier store I've been to, if they even have them at all. At least anywhere I've been, you usually only see them see them really displayed much in budget carrier stores or as prepaid burner phones at walmart.
From my experience the only times the anti reflect coating hasn't been doing its job is when there is when it's got oily skin because of the 40°c weather lately. But just in case, I always bring a microfibre cloth and its like brand new again
Facts you need to update if you wanna call yourself a tech based channel and not an opinion based channel: • S24+ offers the S24 Ultra hardware in the classic smartphone look. So S24+ is the Ultra without Spen and zoom. • S24 lineup has a CLASSIC, not generic design, as the S24U follows the Note lineup design with the boxy look and sharp corners, made in special for the Spen slot. • Samsung, just aswell as Apple, reached a point where they cant do anything new to their phone design. Its a classy look, not flashy and childish as the other Asian brands. For them, its just waiting for the next big thing in innovation.
You literally said the S24+ offers the S24 Ultra hardware, then stated 2 hardware features which mean it doesn't offer that hardware. Also has a slightly smaller battery and is missing a larger main camera and laser AF focus module. The S24, from the front, looks like any other smartphone from any other manufacturer in 2024. So has a generic, mass appeal. Check yourself before writing a comment.
Oh look! Someone that actually wants a narrow design in the fold series. YOU HEAR THAT PEOPLE?! THERE CAN BE MULTIPLE DISPLAYS THAT ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR A FOLDABLE
Fantastic video, thanks Daniel. S23 Ultra still works for me but I did have a play with the A55. For me, the A55 is a little too big and too heavy. Otherwise, it’s a good phone. If there’s one thing the A55 sorely needs it’s wireless charging.
The A35 is one of the cheapest phones (I don't count used phones) with ip67/8, an sd card slot, and usb otg. And samsungs software is also pretty good too.
@@DENVEROUTDOORMANI kinda agree, kinda disagree. I don't think people who buy cheap phones should necessarily be punished, sometimes people fall on hard times and even a used S23 is out of reach, and that's okay. They need a usable phone too. But at the same time, I think Samsung could focus improve the UX on Galaxy S devices, where it really counts to be honest, because people who are buying A series phones aren't exactly the type to care about all the bells and whistles, they just need a phone that does the bare minimum and does its job. I think what really needs to happen is a real split in branding between their premium phones and their cheap phones, not just a different letter, but a different branding altogether. Have more exclusive but non-essential Galaxy S features, while reducing the features and all of cheaper phones so that they have just core functionality, which would actually improve user experience by making it more streamlined for a lower-end device without much processing power, and used by people who don't care too much about all the fancy high-end features. Everybody wins.
It’s weird that the Apple Store did not ever have their hands on a Z fold six. The first thing I do when I’m selling something is I shop the competition.
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN It’s not “trash” in fact, it’s a great phone* being durable, long lasting, quick (for Samsung) charging, beautiful screen with a nice design touch for the volume/power keys. As I mentioned in another reply, it’s a little heavy and needs wireless charging. *BTW I have an iPhone 15 pro and an S23 Ultra so I think I can make a fair estimate of what a great phone is. Upon reflection, the best all rounds this year (IMHO) were the iPhone 16 and the A55 as they do what the ‘average’ person needs to a high standard. I rarely rate the Samsung FE models as I think them overpriced for what they offer.
Sorry, but I'm so disappointed with the Z flip 6 and Fold 6. They didn't even bother to change anything except the chip. Same as the S24 base. S24+ is an upgrade, and also the Ultra. The FE is meh, but way better than the S23 FE which is literally trash.
The flip 6 has far more changes than just the chip. It has a vapour chamber for the first time ever, has a 4000mAh battery and an upgraded main camera. Fold 6 has a slight change in design approach, with a wider cover screen that changes the appeal of it.

I also own s23 ultra but this phone is everything
The S24 Ultra has been amazing for me since launch!
Samsung has been great to me since the S21 ultra, now at S23 ultra. Awesome! Best tech decision ever was getting shot of all my 💩🍏 devices!

Me watching this video while still trying to keep my galaxy s7 as long as possible. 😉

the a16 is the worst "upgrade" literally the same thing as the a15 but without the headphone jack
Did Samuel made video about trip to Mongolia? Cuz i can't find one. I am from Mongolia so, very curious.
He is Daniel, not Samuel.
@max_mwangi did you watch the video?
Do you need graphic designer for thumbnil editing
My s24 ultra is the best phone ever, battery life and camera and software and the screen are all incredible. This ultra will be remembered for years
Do you have 2 channels
Sam really liked the fold 6, but has an apple watch on his wrist
Yes. Because, believe it or not, people can like more than one thing
Do review about samsung ecosystem and features and every thing and specially second screen ❤
He did one a while ago.
The samsung s24 is great 👍 videos are hell amazing ever. And great looking 👌. And the spen beautiful 😍. Anyone will looooooov t. 🥰
One ui core doesnt exist anymore. It was fazed out in 2021 for the normal oneui the a x2 series had oneuicore while the a x3 and later dont
This my sound hard to believe but most people don't need a flagship phone 😊
Yes, thats why the midrangers sell the most
Yep, but it's a nice to have
@@Doomscroller394So flexing?
@turkishcountryball222 Calm down. I am just saying it's nice to have, which it is. But it's not essential.
Yes the do...no need for garbage A Or M cheapies
Fold 6 forsure
5:40 that is just for older generation phones, newer ones like my a13 run full one ui, i think the a03 and up run full one ui too but i can't confirm
They are cheap garbage S series should subsidize cheapie
@DENVEROUTDOORMAN are you trying to insult me?
Like me now I need the Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra ❤
If the Z Fold SE had an underdisplay camera the crease would have been wayyyy more noticivle like the Z fold 6
The Stupid Edition is garbage
I bought moto edge 50 neo
You're completely wrong about the A series. The A55 do not have Android Go and have a Wallet.
Please do the research!
I didn't say the A55 has android go. I said the base model a series does. Listen to the video properly
Many people in the comments are correcting him on that. Someone said it's coz he is focused mostly on the flagship S series
@@max_mwangi I don't need to be corrected. I never said it
