The holiday season has already begun for some, but a lot of you still think it’s too early. I decided to meet you halfway and make this ugly, fleshy, monster Christmas bauble from polymer clay and resin and paint it with acrylics and even add some hair.

I love halloween, my birthday is Nov 23rd so I tend to get a little upset when people ask me why my family hasnt put up Christmas decorations. It hasnt even been Thanksgiving yet, let me enjoy my Turkey and birthday cake in peace please
Although I'm from the UK and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving I totally get where you're coming from. Halloween is my favourite holiday and my birthday is the 12th November 🎉
You should try having a kid with a Dec 21 B-day and not having a Christmas theme when everything is red and green. Oh well, we work around it.

My tradition is to add a new ornament to our tree every year. It can be weird, pretty, something that isn't typically an ornament; whatever. I would be damn proud to have this as our annual ornament. I freaking love this! Great job.
His name should be Terry Toma, as he reminds me of the medical phenomenon teratoma, which is a germ cell tumor that grows multiple different body cell types! They're also called monster tumors.

Yaaayyyyyy!!!! my daughter and I LOVE this channel! I'm not the best sculptor, but I doodle and started posting my drawings on Aces of Clay on FB and followers on that page have been playing with them and sculpting them

@@Littlewings1211 I just posted a baby shark I drew and colored... a friend of mine bought me a very generous set of expensive colored pencils that I am obsessed with. It was a jaw dropping gift and the shark REALLY shows how beautiful and smooth they are. You should check him out for sure... I'm definitely a little proud of that guy... no name yet but people have been suggesting
He already has one sculpt and it really does feel awesome to inspire other artists that can create my idea on a whole other level. I love that feeling lol
@@anneominous9339 I know how that feels, my bestie bought me the 60 set of Polychromos last year for my birthday and this year she got me a 3 month subscription to Scrawlrbox. I am thoroughly spoiled even though I keep telling her not to as I cannot reciprocate. I will have a look for him next time I am on the page, he sounds awesome and I love sharks! I just posted a photo of my little Heartless statue I made my sister and I was completely blown away by all the support and just beautiful things that people said about him. I'm currently sculpting a dragon but he is a wee bit bigger so is taking a long time to sculpt.

I LOVE IT. I really like the trick with the red yarn to make bloodshot eyes. I wouldn’t have thought of that. It’s easier than using a super small paintbrush and I think it actually looks more natural.

Just what I needed for my Halloween tree.
What resin did you use? Are most resins safe for polymer clay? I am a shut-in and have to buy my supplies on line. I started using sculpey years ago but stopped due to the cartoonish look of my pieces. I started with a basic shape and carved out the features. That doesn't work. Then I happened across your videos and saw you add clay. I am so pleased. I'm going to start the monstrosity ornaments after Christmas. My grandson and I started a Halloween tree years ago. I showed him your video and we have already scheduled our monstrosity weekend. Thanks for doing what you do!
