Bad Drivers Of The NorCal Area it’s for the safety of the officers responding if the lead unit “seals off” the intersection to let the remaining units proceed through and vice versa. At the end of the day it’s not just about getting to the scene fast, but also to reach the scene safely. Auto accidents are the number one cause of the deaths of law enforcement officers.
Bad Drivers Of The NorCal Area yes it can, that method is typically used for just one unit. Multiple units will typically use this method (leap frogging)
They sure do haul ass in this city! Cops always coming from different directions. I haven't seen a Vic car in forever. I don't think we have them anymore in my city.
@@90210FireBuff Yeah I know they were. 2013 was the first year of the new taurus fleet but I see more vics in LA videos. In Philly I haven't seen any in a few years.

JOHN SMITH civilians can get pulled over if they are missing a license plate. In this case, the newer cars don’t have plates and soon they will after a few weeks
I'm sorry but LAPD is not what it used to be. Presently there are more inner departmental complaints against officers than from citizens. LAPD used to kick ass. Now they take breaks and wait for calls even like the one you see here where they all are woken up to a call that may or may not be life threatening. The somberness of actions/inactions is fear of departmental discipline. So sad.
That was cool to see that Explorer block the road off to let the Taurus pass the intersection.
Yes. Thanks for watching!
That's how it should be done!
It’s called leap frogging, lead unit blocks off intersection, following unit becomes the lead unit

That was a smooth move by the 2 cops running play blocking the intersection to let the other unit thru with out slowing down
Well damn that was crazy, coming from all over! Stuff's going down alright.
You even caught two slicktop CVPIs and a Taurus!
Yep. Crazy right? Thanks!
Damn must of been a backup request or something because holy shit that’s a shit tone of units!
Probably was. Thanks for watching!

The Crown Vics were stopped being made by Ford in 2011. That's why you see less of them in the streets. Thanks for watching!

Sometimes in a hurry. I’ve forgetting my headlights on officer needs help call. To concentrated on driving
they also forgot to put a damn plate on it..
Awesome video! Too bad about the bus and that corner but nonetheless a very interesting catch! Who were you with? I want to see his video too
I was with LA Police and Fire Buff 17. Thanks for watching!
@@90210FireBuff 1:47 why does the cop car have no plates?
Cool!
This is what happens when someone robs a Donut shop
Lmfao so true! Thanks for watching!
Bradon 2k probably the best comment on this video 😂😂. The cops must love those donuts
:):):):):)
@Will Rickerson Looks like a backup request or something
Bradon 2k or maybe someone just simply stealing a jolly rancher...
Looked like the entire watch responding.
Who are the ones assigned to the slick tops? Metro, traffic, lieutenants+?
Gang units
90210FireBuff I thought gang units drove unmarks
@@yadahmed8850 I'm pretty sure they do both.
this is a real country where the police answer a quick call!
Skidrow? Now that's what I call a Bum's Rush!
Exactly
Oh my God - Ford Taurus :O How many Taurus's does LAPD have (marked)?
They have some but not too many
МиљковићSRB I thought absolutely the same :)
90210FireBuff how bout unmarked or slick top
Sick response!

5 STAR WANTED LAPD COP CARS!
Didi anyone else see the Explorer had it's right alley lights on at the end
I saw it. Guess he forgot to turn them off
Thinking to add more intense LED light for being seen.
sweet taurus
Wish there were more
I just hate my former home now. 44 years of my life spent there and the politics have soured me on ever going back.
Why did the last one have no licence plate? Every other unit had one.
Was it a panic button call?
Who doesn't love a parade?
wait what does this star mean?
what fd station is that?
Yup the LAPD are late for Granma's Doughnuts again !!
That last one had is passenger flood on uh oh
Someone is playing the real life mod for GTA again... 😂
No license plate on the last one? o.O
what part of LA isn't skid row?
None
Officer involved in a fight most likely.
You're probably right
Just like the line from robocop say They going to kick somebodys ass....
They better add the Ford and cops cars should better look like this in gta 6!!!
what was the call for the responce
Backup request
How come the crown vic doesn't have lightbar but the taurus & explorer have them?
If you look carefully, it does have a lightbar. This is and the other slicktop are gang units, while the other cars are patrol units
It's called a slicktop. They have lights located in other parts of the car, as you can see.
The last explorer didn’t have a plate
Don’t have to
they passed a fire station
We can all see that
LAFD Station 9
L.a. crown vic rollin in the hoodys.😎😁👍🚔🚓.
hundreds of crown vics are still in service on the west cost and in the south but not back in the northeast like in Chicago and new York all vics are long gone
We still have them in Long Island
Which way do i film oh and by the way that dam bus ruining my view
It all happened too quick it was hard for me to know which direction they' all were coming from.

Probably because they're new and LE cars in Cali have a different license plate.

What is a skid row?
The homeless capital of Los Angeles
To many cops for one car i bet or one person 😂😂😂😂😂
Time 1:42 an 1:47 the cop has no plates on the car but if it was one of us it would be some bs
If it’s a shooting yeah
OI. They allowed to go with no plates hmph
Code 3 responding to 999 cop down...
More like a backup request
Might as well just not use lights on the slick Top
why don't they use hi-lo?
They don't find the hi-lo tone as an effective tone.
