I prefer San Martin's original designs like the Tropical GMT SN0116-G
Thick? Its probably really thick. No side profile shots.
?
@@universallanguage9839 how thick is the watch
@@StrangersIteDomum 12.3mm. Otherwise i have provided with a link the description, you can check out.
It's just a blatant Tudor rip off lol
We call that an homage
*_Sez the Tudor customer..._*
Point?
I'm sure you only wear Levi's jeans and
only lacoste polos, because every other jean and polo would be a blatant ripoff.
Every brand has ripped designs from each other. This includes watches, cars, trucks, clothing, etc.
Especially when the big swiss brands want to increase prices by 50-100% when at most production costs have increased 20%... fuck em
@HotelBravo556 nah, really? that's the whole point, Cpt Obvious
It looks like a simple watch lol. The watch purists have become weird.
Hey, it is a simple watch, that is what's so cool about it. A lot of companies should keep it more simple 😊Thx for watching
I like small watches but they have to be thin. For a watch like this this means 10mm thick at most.
Well then they'd have to change the movement for a mechanical one. And even then, 10mm is not easy to achieve
@@shawn1928 This may be true but you can agree with me that for example a watch with 40mm diameter and 13mm thickness looks better on the hand than 36mm diameter and 13mm thickness.
@@unwokeneuropean3590 yup for sure, no argument there
Thanks for you Input. I think 10mm with these components will be hard to create. It has a boxed Saphire, automatic movement, screw down crown, and its build really well :) Thanks for watching 😊
Do you think 39mm is a small watch?
@@universallanguage9839 38-39mm watches are medium watches for me, 40+ are huge and sub 37mm are smaller watches.
I refuse to buy any San Martin with a 'Snowfake' handset.
The first thing I look for in a SM watch is Snowflake hands - so I can purchase it. Currently have 8 out of a 20 SM watch collection.
@@ArtoftheDial Too blatantly derivative of Tudor for me.
@@lefroy1is the snowflake not also a grand seiko thing?
It sounds like this watch might not be for you.
If you want my advice, you probably should not buy this watch.
I hope you found this comment to be as helpful as we all found yours.
😂
@@atifghafoor6258 Not really, the SBGA211 'snowflake' is more a nickname in reference to the appearance of snow on its dial.
The Snowflake handset however has always been a proprietary (and iconic) Tudor design and thusly, looks like a rip-off on anything else, to the point they may as well just stick a Tudor logo on and be done with it.
