Thankyou so much this worked for my sons iPad mini. I did the first step and now it’s not turning off when I go onto settings and a few other apps. Even sometimes touching the iPad would make it turn off for 1 second.

my ipad dies around 50% and the only way to turn it on is by putting a charger on it, so i’m kind of unsure of how i could let it die fully
