+Only with arhennius theory ,how did we come to know that ammonia acts as base ,so how did we feel that gap ? Is it because of litmus paper or so ?@Fuse school - Global Education
Can someone please list ALL the materials that are used in Bronsted-Lowry and Arrhenius Theory?? 🤔🤔🤔 I know it was mentioned in the video, but it would be much organized in text please.
I'm SO SAD ! I'm sad because justin bieber has over a billion view and this video 3 thousands at the time i've watched it. It should be the opposite !!!!!!!!!
is this the same for a reaction between Sodium Carbonate and Hydrochloric acid does the carbonic acid take H+-ions from water or from HCl bit confused would love it if someone could help.
omg that was so simple .. I was cracking my head behind in studying from the book..

Water acts as an acid since it gives Hydrogen ion to Ammonia. According to the concept of BL Theory, bases are receiving proton ion.
Thanks u so much, keep uploading more videos

I thought water is a neutral oxide? In general
It seemed like you didn't study for gaokao
that was a lie
epic
is this the same for a reaction between Sodium Carbonate and Hydrochloric acid does the carbonic acid take H+-ions from water or from HCl bit confused would love it if someone could help.
I'm not sure if I fully understand. Why doesn't NH3 + H2O ever go to NH2 and H3O?
because ammonia here acts as a base so it accepts a hydrogen ion , but if it was an acid it would have given its hydrogen
Why dislikes
Is Maria Popova the Brain pickings Maria?
No, that's a different Maria :)
um
you need to explain what amphoteric is ... you explain all other words but not this one .. this video is NOT complete

I thought the "h" in Arrhenius is silent, therefore it should be pronounced arr rei nius
