It's more like each 3 months, but I get your point 😅. To be fair, this is literally all I do, all day, I just write constantly. Thanks so much for showcasing my different games and for explaining more stuff about Across a Thousand Dead Worlds!

I def agree on having the index and appendix listing all tables. I was also thinking about how this can probably be put together in one big or a couple smaller flowcharts.

Love the addition of the oracle. It gives you the option to turn ATDW into a fully fledged TTRPG, instead of a 'dungeon crawler'. But it isn't essential to the core gameplay loop, for those who want to just do the site exploration stuff..

"Discount Coffee" is the name of my character. People are like, "Yo, Discount Coffee!" And I'm like, "Huh? You want me to put you on blast?!" That's how we roll all the way up to Dead World 999. We don't behave like that on Dead World 1000, though. We're very polite on Dead World 1000.

As it turned out coffee gave me significant brainfog. Caffeine is a known vasoconstrive after all. Never knew.
There are indications that even minor longterm constriction of the bloodflow to the brain promotes various forms of neurological degeneration, like Alzheimers and the likes.
Sugar indirectly does the same via raised nitric oxide levels in the blood.
So no caffeine for me and barely any added sugar since I found out earlier this year.
    I‘m feeling better all around.

I need to get off the sugar for awhile I think that’s it

I concur. I kicked the sugar habit 10 years ago and I feel WAY better now than I did then.

When I was reading through the rules I was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to fit the really simple organized exploration stuff with the GM emulation bits in a way that feels intuitive. I was toying with the idea of sitting the scene twist chance die next to my time die, then adding an extra die to certain d6 rolls like the ones for space travel events or hex exploration. Having the dice lined up like that makes me think I could do something if some of these dice match. Maybe if a twist triggers the twist coexists with whatever was gonna happen normally, but if the twist die matches the time die it interrupts it more dramatically. (or maybe if these events are happening too often, something has to match for anything to occur??) Idk it does kinda seem like the GM emulation stuff is intended to be used more for stuff happening on the station rather than out in the field, and there is a lot going on already, but I like trying to use every part of the buffalo at once.
Unrelated, but, you said a bit ago that you emailed a bunch of questions to the writer, is there any chance we could see those answers at some point? I'm really curious to see what came up

Brain fog for me is either I have not eaten regularly enough with the right foodstuff, not drunk enough water, or I've been glutenised by accident.
Anything else I would suggest to go see your doctor, but that depends highly on where you live across this world. 😑
