Isn’t the Wilderness of Rocks close to there? Or is that that on the opposite side of Mt Lemmon? Dang it, another one of your videos is making me go back and revisit old hiking areas! Adding this one to the list, thanks! You guys( ladies) have fun, Happy Hiking!
@@wildpathsaz Yea we spent like 3or4 days goofing off up there in the 80s or early 90s. I believe we spent the rest of the week in Peppersauce cave near Oracle.
@@rvtech101 we went to avoid the heat of the summer. Nice reprieve, and I learned of the pools by chance. Obviously, they'd be much better during spring runoff, so we might need to go back. Peppersauce is another fun place!
I know you are keeping the Lemmon Pools a secret. (They probably are nicer right after a rain.) But could you show us the route you took? If I want to repeat your awesome experience, where would I go?
I have heard they are nice after rain when they are flowing. Our website has a gpx track you can follow. Visit wildpathsaz.com/mount-lemmon-loop/ and if that doesn’t work, shoot us an email wildpathsaz@gmail.com.

Ĺemmon pools!
Great video, did you see any of the squirrels with the little tuffs on their ears. Have a great day
I don't remember seeing any specifically. I'll have to keep an eye out next time.
@@wildpathsaz I’m sorry to hear that, maybe someday you will.

Yes, we were on Wilderness of Rocks trail part of the time. All the cool rock formations are so fun.
It would make a great backpacking trip, too.
