I am not in the Agency space and I found this video so helpful that I watched it twice. There were a lot of core quality principles given throughout the presentation, that contribute to a scaleable business even if you are solo entrepreneur.
Mate, you really hit the nail on the head with Jack of all trades and master on none. I’ve been doing this for 5 years now and offered everything. I’m narrowing this down to only tech SEO now, then there’s little niches inside of this I can offer.
This is incredible content. I watched the entire thing. Am fast becoming a fanboy (if not so already). Can I ask why you didnt mention Google Ads as part of your paid media stack? Is it because Facebook works better for niche agencies? Thanks
with adwords, its expensive and the lead quality isnt as high. with facebook, its cheaper and youre also able to build significant brand equity thru ads as well
Why????? does this video not have 250K views haha - This is great content and really helps with clarity and avoiding autopilot mode and getting stuck in the grooves of the status quo in the agency space. I would advise any agency owner to check this stuff out!
What a great video! What's the startup cost for new (SEO content) agencies? Also, if there is say $20K - $30K available, what's the best way to deploy this capital for fast growth in the next 3-4 months? p.s. this could be a nice topic for a video, too. Thanks, Ryan!
theres no need for up front capital to start an agency, thats one of the reasons why its such a good business model. if you do have capital, id invest in people. agencies are a people based business, the better people you have the further you will go
@@NOTRyanStewart as someone with some experience with an seo agency but no capital what would your advise be if I’m starting over again with no clients no team and no budget. Would love to get a reply. Thank you.
Hands down best seo content out there. Well done ryan. Off topic question: you got an auto insurance company trying to rank website.com/ + website.com/auto-insurance/. Both their primary keyword is auto insurance. What would u do? Is it bad to have them both rank for it? both got unique content on the page. (they offer any kind of vehicle insurance such as motorcycle and commercial)
The offer slide, the worry I have with playing on the "ranking no. 1" feeling is that clients may then want us to guarantee their rankings for keywords xyz. How do you make that offer but still push back on promising ranking positions?
we tell them something along these lines "we dont offer any guarantees, that would be irresponsible of us. at the end of the day, we're working against an algorithm that even it's own engineers can't predict the results from. however, we do hve a framework - a framework that's proven to get results for XX clients. while we don't make guarantees, i can tell you that we are the best in the world at what we do and we will put your website in the best position possible to succeed.
Thanks for sharing this Ryan! I have created a service model for Blueprint agencies to complete each of the Blueprint deliverable like competitive landscape audit, WQA, KWR for existing pages etc. Now I came to know that how Productized service works and how much agencies need this. Thanks for explaining that clearly here.
Hey Ryan, just wanted to thank you for the youtube videos you're putting help, tons of value :)
My pleasure!

Hi Ryan! Good video! Quick question, do you think big SEO contracts from Miami or the USA, get outsourced to outside the country?
it depends, but id say most times they dont
This is gold - really great stuff Ryan.
