I would honestly LOVE if you could break down Cersi and Tyrion's relationship. There is hate but also this mutual respect that I find fascinating! You see it best during that scene at 11:04 . I thought for certain she would kill him, but she held back. She allows Tyrion to talk to her in ways she would NEVER allow others to talk to her.. and I've always wondered why. Even in the battle of Blackwater it wasn't Cersi who ordered the hit on him, even though she spells out every reason she wants him dead (constantly), but Jeoffry. Please do this topic~! I'd love it!
It is one of my favourite lines from any show ever. For a second the writers let Andy’s real character show rather than the train wreck they made him to be.
Scary story: I KNEW I was in my good ole days before I left it, & I still left & never found a replacement since. Life doesn't always turn out how we expect, no matter how hard we try.
me too, i thought they were like a big brother and a younger sister and it was just really cute seeing a platonic relationship between a boy and a girl on tv for once
The Rocker X that was also Robert California, also the writer only made him bad in later seasons as he chose to film the hangover movie before the office for that year
"Do you have a question Kelly?" "Yeah I have a lot of questions, number one: How dare you?" Lmao I totally forgot this line, I laughed for a full minute.
You know I actually disagree with this now if you watch the extended episode of they cut out a lot of their sweeter moments. Ryan is a complete douche it’s just the truth but I can see through those moments why Kelly stayed where she was and it lessens their dysfunction at least on her end
Wow. Never realized the office dropped the ball in this way. I would've like to have seen this play out. Andy's wealth with Kelly's high maintenance but I wouldn't have like to seen this relationship at the cost of Kelly/Erin's friendship.
What a missed opportunity! We saw a few male rivalries but they should have thrown another female rivalry. Kelly vs Erin competing for Andy would have been interesting. Erin shows an aggressive side when she gets jealous over Angela and when competing in the paper airplane contest.
Idk if they dropped the ball, just because two people are perfect match doesn't mean they are gonna end up together, sometimes they just don't notice each other, maybe the writers did it on purpose.
the ending they get is so ryan and kelly lol i love it..like we saw kelly found other people better than ryan but something about how toxic it was just sucked me in too..i kinda would of hated it if they did not end up together as the show ends even if we know they will just break up again in a month
I think Andy's regression at the end of the show was due to poor writing more than anything that seemed like a natural course for the character. It seemed like the writers had a vendetta against him.
I don't really think the best way to get at an actor is to degrade their character. I think the writers just wanted to spice up Andy's character without realizing that change happens over time and not suddenly. Jim didn't get Pam and his dream job right away. It took 9 years. Dwight didn't officially become manager right away. It took 9 years. Pam wasn't trully happy and controlling of her life. It took 4 years. Micheal didn't get married right away. It took 7 years. I think the degradation of Andy's character starting when Micheal left, and he became regional manager. He starrted becoming more of a mainstream character which kinda ruined his supposed role in The Office.
I don't think it was because of beef with the writers, but to show the cyclical nature of the office and how if you're not careful you become "that guy" (whatever role that is).
EXACTLY!!! Andy kept getting better; I was rooting for him throughout season 8 and then suddenly it all completely reversed. A man who was ready to lose everything to go after erin just abandons her??? It made absolutely no sense. It really breaks my heart that the writers did that to him.
they are not end game obviously thats ryan and kelly cause they are friends with benefits on again off again toxic af but entertaining end game couple goals ....but andy and kelly could be a nice 1/2 season relationship to explore the whole ryan erin relationship put some strain on the kelly erin friendship and maybe have gabe involved too
Unfortunately Andy's character was affected by real world issue of scheduling conflicts. I think they wrote his character to the ground cause he became too busy to film.
and didn't even make him and Erin end up together in the end. I feel like the original plan was them being married in the end but Andy forced change of character (Michael Clone during Office at prime), cancellation of The Farm, instead of taking Erin the writers decided to abandon due to claims of "Andy gone, Erin has no purpose so they forced the stupid romance with Plop even though they can easily make Erin have a purpose by going with Andy on a boat trip) or both characters instead was sent to jury duty of a very high profile case or Andy's closest family he had like his maid or stepmom declining health and wants to spend the last moments with them and brings Erin with him.

At first reading the title, I was like “What, no way.” but your channel has a habit of changing my opinion like 100% of the time. Ready to be mind blown. Edit: Thanks so much for the likes! My mind has and will always be blown by the Take.
Now that you’ve established the untold relationship between Andy and Kelly, could you please do an hour long episode between the untold Love relationship between Creed and Meredith?
I also realized when Ryan saw Kelly happy with Ravi, he worked hard to seduce and win her back just like Erin did when Andy was happy with Jessica. Its like Erin and Ryan are the "demons" of Andy Kelly. Edit: Also how they left Dunder Mifflin. When Kelly left she walks out and said " see ya losers!" and Andy kinda did the same thing. Almost forgot how Andy wants Erin to fake loving him to feel better, while Kelly fakes pregnancy on Ryan just to be with Ryan again.
Yes, it’s like the narrator missed the fact that their romance was sabotaged by cockblockers (Ryan and Jim)who plant a message in the minds of Kelly and Andy not to trust their own instincts about who they truly like or that they deserve happiness with the person they are truly compatible with.
i am not on board with andy and kelly for end game but it would of been a nice way to have erin andy kelly ryan gabe maybe even darryl val and angela heck even dwight involved in this big love mess cause they are all in some ways in love or were in love with each other or liked each other like how kelly kinda digged dwight in season 1 and early 2 tying to why she finds andy attractive like angela and erin did to push that andy vs dwight rivalry even more and have dwight look out for kelly his friend .....and its kinda funny to think about in season 8 if we got this built up big cluster romance drama between many main characters to save that season instead of the robert california deangelo vickers nellie as manager randomness that drags the post michael part of season 7 and all of the 8th season down for so many with all those filler episodes and then has to arbitrarily force more than half the office to florida to save itself from falling apart without mike there...not that i hate the florida stuff its just not the office anymore and feels like any other comedy by season 8 with forced storylines for fresh ideas
What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No. I go for the chandelier; it's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. I don't trust her. Besides, I love the cold. Thirty years later I get a postcard. I have a son. And he's the Chief of Police. This is where the story gets interesting: I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris by the Trocadero. She's been waiting for me all these years. She's never taken another lover. I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stashed the chandelier.
it would of been cool to see...don't forget gabe too still likes erin and eventually jim 2.0 gets wtith her and your former bonds like andy and angela dwight and kelly for a moment darryl and kelly so a lot was missed out on imo by not having andy and kelly get together for a half a season or whatever..they are obviously not end game goals but it would be nice to see an dwight had a thing for erin for a minute too
What I see is Ryan and Erin getting jealous and sabotage Andy and Kelly. Erin did wish Andy's GF dead, and buried under the ground with worms while Ryan... well we all know if Ryan was in heaven and Kelly is in hell Ryan wouldn't follow and Ryan also Wants Kelly to be alone than be happy with someone (Ravi).
i feel like they WOULD work well together! andy is clueless- he and erin ran circles around each other forever before finally getting into a relationship. kelly would be much more upfront and demanding about what she wants. she’d NEVER have let him sail the boat away without her.
Sruti yeah a reboot wouldn’t work at this point everyone is well into their own careers and I think they’ve aged too much, for them to really just continue from where they ended
This is a brilliant analysis that frames the show in a way that many have never seen before. It picks up on so many overlooked aspects of the characters and uses them in a very clear argument. A
Mindy rectified it by hiring Ed Helms to play an on/off love interest in her show, The Mindy Project. He appeared twice and they had an amazing chemistry.
I always thought that Kelly was just comfortable with Ryan. Andy and Erin's relationship was akin to forcing a square peg in a round hole. Andy and Kelly were definitely compatible, if they were only drawing perspective relationships from that tiny pool of people. Sadly, I think their egos made it quite difficult for them to realize that they were equals.
I feel like theyre really similar, too similar. They would end up clashing with one other. They both need someone to balance out their crazy. Both of them together is an explosion of crazy.
They really character assassinated Andy by the final few seasons. The boat segment really put the nail in the coffin, then just got worse from there. I first off dreaded seeing Andy due to his anger and womanizing qualities, but once Erin came along, it showed he was redeemable and had a lot of humanity in him, and at times very sensible. That went out the window though.
I haven't watch the full video yet but does anyone remember when Kelly stole her old boyfriends boat when she was younger? But then mentions it was actually her boyfriends dad's boat. Sound familiar?
@@KingKuma909 How about a theory where Kelly from the Office is Mindy from the Mindy Project. She changed her name after she ran away with Ryan. Ryan dumped her again so, she changed her name so he wouldn't find her
Potential couples, like Andy and Kelly, are very common. It usually stems from their own shortcomings, despite their similarities in character. Failing to overcome your shortcomings, or at least failing to learn how to tone them down, will always result in failed relationships or missed opportunities to find your match, even if the match is right in front of you the whole time.
lmao i also noticed it when they were becoming close on that business trip thing, and then michael spread the rumor that andy was gay and he was starting to question his sexuality. i was really waiting for them to have atleast some sort of fling.. and it just didn't happen!
They never said it was evidence. They said that they weren't the first people to ship it. If they hadn't acknowledged the fanfic, all the comments would have been about how they ignored the existence of the fanfic.
I've been rewatching the office and every time they show Andy or Kelly I think about this video. They would have paired so well together! It would be nice to have the series end with Kelly finally moving on from her obsession from Ryan. I'm so sad at their missed opportunity. They could have given her and Andy a sweet rom-com set up they both dreamed for.
I always wanted to see more of Andy and Kelly’s relationship whenever they had a dance off ie. Pams wedding and the cafe disco. They seemed to bounce off of each other so well.
Kelly had writing duties same as Ryan which means neither could have a storyline that wasn’t background which is why her and Ryan work well cause it’s always just going on without ever becoming centre stage
Thank you for this video! I agree Kelly and Andy have a lot in common and could have been so cute and happy together and I wish they had explored that. The funny thing is I think Andy would actually be a great husband in general because he so often displays golden retriever levels of genuine enthusiasm and people-pleasing intentions, but also the required patience for high-maintenance partners (which Angela, Erin, and Kelly all are). The question arises if Kelly would have ever been able to let Ryan go completely; I wouldn't want another "engaged to Andy but sleeping with the old fling on the side" scenario.
I think the problem with Andy and Erin the second time around was that Erin matured but Andy stayed an adolescent. They were perfect at first, but then Erin grew and Andy did not grow with her (especially during his time at sea).
Erin is still dumb and took advantaged by Plop by manipulating her with "i just want you to be happy" and takig advantage of Andy's mental health (depression, identity crisis, and Andy still hasn't recovered from the end of S8).
That's not too unreasonable actually. There are multiple jokes in the last season about things that weren't shown. Like in the last episode how Oscar complains that they never ONCE showed him doing his origami.
I think it’s hilarious that when Jim told Andy that Kelly was high maintenance he was immediately disinterested yet he went on to get engaged to Angela AKA literally the most high maintenance person in the entire office, especially when she was with Andy because she didn’t really like him that much to begin with and seemed to always be going out of her way to be difficult with him.
I want to record my life over the course of a few years, edit out anything irrelevant, submit the final cut to The Take, and have them do an in depth analysis of me and everyone else.
Thank! You! Every time the two of them hung out, I was like, “Be together already!” I always shipped them together, but I thought it was just a stupid fan theory.
I just realized Plop also looks to be like Ryan (temp/s1-3). Also wants to start his own business someday and also appears to be decent guy (maybe in the future he might end exactly like Ryan). Edit:Since his a hybrid of Andy, Ryan more than Jim.
Andy had a proper character assassination in Season 9. It's hard to watch how bad he gets. Either Ed Helms pissed someone off or they just hated his character.
I was quite glad that the writers left that one alone. Phoebe alone refutes the annoying suggestion that you have to end up shagging friends of the opposite sex. Her relationship with Mike works well, she finds balance instead of trying to be with someone like her.
Repetetive? Like Andy going back to Erin only to be dumped (again) just like Ryan? Sure Andy is definitely suffering mental health problems (still hasn't recovered since S8 Finale) and definitely needs help in S9 and Erin didn't really understand it and dumped him for Plop since all she cares is her own happiness, and Plop manipulating her "I just want you to be happy" and took advantage of Andy's mental health problems.
You were right: I was ready to dismiss the video when I read the title but gave it a go anyway. And wow, I think it's a really interesting way to consider Andy and Kelly's compatibility for each other. Too bad it never worked out.
I hated how they had Kelly and Andy’s characters undo their growth like going on the boat trip and ruining his relationship with Erin and Kelly going back to Ryan in a toxic relationship

I first off dreaded seeing Andy due to his anger and womanizing qualities, but once Erin came along, it showed he was redeemable and had a lot of humanity in him, and at times very sensible. That went out the window though.
Maybe I should have gone for Kelly.
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." -Wayne Gretzky" -Michael Scott" -Me, Andy Bernard
first I was like "Ryan, what take you so long", and then.....
Wait what???? Andy?? What???????
In the first couple seasons, it really looked like Angela and Roy might get together. Obviously Angela is meant to be with Dwight though.
I haven't watch the full video yet but does anyone remember when Kelly stole her old boyfriends boat when she was younger? But then mentions it was actually her boyfriends dad's boat. Sound familiar?
"When this blows up I'll probably go solo like beyonce." And thus my Mibdy Project fan theory is confirmed!
What was your fan theory?
@@RandomSkyeRoses That they were connected in some way
@@KingKuma909 How about a theory where Kelly from the Office is Mindy from the Mindy Project.
When I saw the title I thought “they’re reaching” but I’m sold, and the ship name was honestly all I needed to hear
Fine but...Andy and Oscar were deliberately set up and should’ve ended up together as well
hmm,, what an interesting ship.
never occurred to me
_tell me more._
lmao i also noticed it when they were becoming close on that business trip thing, and then michael spread the rumor that andy was gay and he was starting to question his sexuality. i was really waiting for them to have atleast some sort of fling.. and it just didn't happen!
I was waiting for Andy to be gay
I mean... Andy is a big fan of theater lmaoo
moon Liking theater doesn't make someone gay broski.
I’ve always thought that Andy and Kelly would be good together. Glad to see a video supporting my ship!
In the very first episode of Mindy Kaling's The Mindy Project Ed Helms plays her love interest!
How many times did this channel watch the office to come up with these observations? I really like this.
I almost feel like they're too alike, hence why Erin hangs around both because they're compatible with her.
The fanfiction thing is hardly evidence- there's fanfiction for literally every possible pairing. There's fanfiction for Toby/Michael. Don't go there.
They never said it was evidence. They said that they weren't the first people to ship it. If they hadn't acknowledged the fanfic, all the comments would have been about how they ignored the existence of the fanfic.
Oh THAT I'd read
I mean Toby and Micheal would be perfect for a rom com. They already have that initial hate tension.
“You’re ugly anna know it for a fact because I got the evidence *right there* ”
Damn kelly
I'm just going to imagine that they got together and got married after the end of the show now. Great video!
i always thought this. they would’ve been so cute. both of them super dramatic and hopeless romantics. they would’ve been perfect
Maybe they were together but the camera crew never recorded it...mind blown
That's not too unreasonable actually. There are multiple jokes in the last season about things that weren't shown. Like in the last episode how Oscar complains that they never ONCE showed him doing his origami.
Andy does date Kelly- Kelly Hannon
I think it’s hilarious that when Jim told Andy that Kelly was high maintenance he was immediately disinterested yet he went on to get engaged to Angela AKA literally the most high maintenance person in the entire office, especially when she was with Andy because she didn’t really like him that much to begin with and seemed to always be going out of her way to be difficult with him.
People forget Erin's name is Kelly but she uses her second name "Erin" cuz having 2 Kelly's was confusing.
But to be honest, I think their relationship would play out like Andy and April from Parks and Rec.
Nah...
They are both cute idiots, and Andy and April were both kinda unlikable before they got together, I could def see it. Tbh actually I wish I could’ve
I don't remember ever seeing the episode where Kelly, Ryan, Andy, and Erin make that movie or short or whatever it was, are these deleted scenes?
I didn't think of this. Wow, what a missed opportunity.
As soon as I saw that episode where Michael forms that dance club thing I thought they would go well together.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I’d love your take on the Michael and Toby relationship, too! 😘😘😘
Yes!!!
That would be like getting tickets to see Jordans Bulls. A legendary experience
I want to record my life over the course of a few years, edit out anything irrelevant, submit the final cut to The Take, and have them do an in depth analysis of me and everyone else.
summary: they're both extra af
I live AND DIE for your Office videos!
Thank! You! Every time the two of them hung out, I was like, “Be together already!” I always shipped them together, but I thought it was just a stupid fan theory.
I mean, I once saw someone on Tumblr arguing for Toby and Oscar to be together.
(Not to say that it’s a bad ship).
You know, not gonna lie, I disagreed with you when I saw the title, but then I watched the video and omg I cannot agree with you more.
I really wish the show had explored Andy and Kelly's platonic FRIENDSHIP more. They are a great match
He went to Cornell
I just realized Plop also looks to be like Ryan (temp/s1-3). Also wants to start his own business someday and also appears to be decent guy (maybe in the future he might end exactly like Ryan).
Edit:Since his a hybrid of Andy, Ryan more than Jim.
The Cafe Disco episode really convinced me
I love how bj and mindy themselves to be the worst people on earth😂
committed to their writing craft
I relate to Kelly on a spiritual level and I'm also very much in love with Andy so this video gives me so much hope for my love life.
k but who else LOVED Andy and Erin together? like i got so upset when they broke up
Annabelle Augé YES
Okay I never would've expected a video like this but I completely agree that Kandy should've been a thing. They would've been so great together!
Even if they did Erin would overreact and get jealous on Andy, same thing with Ryan.
I kind of feel sad that we didnt get to see them together now😍😢
I love these videos! This one was super well-done and very interesting!! 👍👏
I approve of this message.
Omg I got to 5:07 thinking it was over then I look and there’s like 12 more minutes of video left.
Andy had a proper character assassination in Season 9. It's hard to watch how bad he gets. Either Ed Helms pissed someone off or they just hated his character.
I heard he was busy filming "The Hangover" series at that time and production hated that he *gasp* dared to star in other projects🤦♀️
Do the same with Joey and Phoebe
I was quite glad that the writers left that one alone. Phoebe alone refutes the annoying suggestion that you have to end up shagging friends of the opposite sex. Her relationship with Mike works well, she finds balance instead of trying to be with someone like her.
@@mankytoes Agreed. I adored Mike a whole lot.
They should've happened instead of Chandler and Monica
*happy cries* Wow.... I did not expect to become so invested in this idea, our Kandy
I can't believe I never thought of this. Great job!
Aw.....I didn't really think about it and now it makes me sad it didn't happen. Great vid!
You were right: I was ready to dismiss the video when I read the title but gave it a go anyway. And wow, I think it's a really interesting way to consider Andy and Kelly's compatibility for each other. Too bad it never worked out.
Duuuude never thought about them together but I totally ship it now 💕Kandy💕
I hated how they had Kelly and Andy’s characters undo their growth like going on the boat trip and ruining his relationship with Erin and Kelly going back to Ryan in a toxic relationship
I love how this show still inspires analyses years after its end, it was really well written with relatable characters and good storyarcs.
I genuinely would not mind an sequel series if they did this romance
