A lot of people were mad at Pam for the last season, but I thought it was a great move for the show to have Jim take one of his big leaps of faith and instead of it all falling into place perfectly there were some major hurdles. A lasting relationship needs to be able to survive difficult challenges and I felt The Office portrayed it well. PB&J forever!
I thought it was great that they were having difficulties with their relationship. They spent too long just being the perfect couple where everything just happened as they wanted it. It was nice to see them overcome an actual issue.
I was annoyed at Jim in the last season because it seemed like he was taking his family for granted. He claimed that he took the job in Philly for his family, but it was really for himself. Also, Pam was right to be upset because Jim told others in the office before he told her. Jim also had a bit of the same smug attitude in Season 9 as he did in Season 3 when he came back from Connecticut.
It’s definitely not a one-sided issue by any means, but I do believe Jim was in the wrong for how he handled it. Sure, it’s not entirely fair for Pam to expect Jim to set aside all his ambition and emotions for her vision of an ideal relationship, but it wasn’t fair at all for Jim to simply jump aboard and take that new job without telling her, leaving her with a full-time job and having to take over caring for the children all by herself and expecting her to uproot her entire life just for his job. I’m sure Jim believed he was doing it for his family, but he was definitely doing it for himself. I’m glad he eventually realized that and finally put his family before his job.

I don't believe in true love. But I believe of those two nerds. They are awkward, natural, relatable with their own problems, they have their issues, flaws and virtues. They feel real. Their relationship allows them to develop themselves as individuals and support each other. Hell, even their fights feel real. Unlike those shallow "office sweethearts that they hate yet love each other with a passion" - sorry to break your bubble, Hollywood but that's not how love works. However, the Office make us root for those two lovebirds to get together.
@Jim McCracken I was reffering how Hollywood tends to show about romance office. Loves can be seen in all shapes and form. Never said it was one. So no need for the bubble, Jim McCracken.
I’m sorry you feel that way but you are wrong. True love is real. I’ve been with my husband for 15 years and we are still deeply and passionately in love. We have a beautiful long relationship filled with trust and love and friendship. We’ve been through the hardest of times and the best of times together. We only love each other more as time goes on. No end in sight.
This is why I love the office. You start watching it, and you don’t realize you’ll be invested in a romance, and yet it tricks you into falling in love with Jim and Pam. And then it tricks you into hoping one day you’ll find your own Jim. Or Pam.
Me too. I don’t understand why I do this to myself. I watch the office and then I fall in love with Jim and Pam all over again and I want a relationship like theirs.
i just have it on a constant loop. whenever i need something to watch or I only have 30 min I will put the next episode on. I must have seen them all 10 times by now
I'm from argentina so the show isn't particulary popular here, so I discovered it and started watching recently. It's pretty good, love it's style and specially the camerawork, off to continue watching!
Another telepathic scene for Jim and Pam was the telekinesis prank Jim played on Dwight about moving the coat hanger and Pam quickly used the umbrella to move it, it was great!!
I was super emotional and about a month pregnant when I watched the last season of this show. I just remember crying and saying to my husband "If Jim and Pam don't work out, I WILL HATE this show!"
Shauna Mother of Penguins I didn’t have any doubts of them working things out. They are jim and pam. I always said to myself: if they can’t work things out? WHO WILL?
The reason i like this show is that it depicts true love which is never always physical but almost always on the way ppl do things for each other. All others shows just show intimacy physically... maybe for views/ratings ...while the office depicts the true love as the beauty of understanding one another. I guess i like it like that.
I wish you all people here to find your Jim or Pam! They were my fav couple for years and I've been wishing to creat the same sort of relationships in my own life... And I still DO!
I have watched TV for 40 years and hopefully another 40 and I will confidently say that Pam and Jim are the one couple I completely believe as soulmates and I have never seen chemistry like this before to the degree that I cheered when they finally got together! I attribute it all to the brilliant writers and the perfect casting of John and Jenna. They can make me believe they are in love by a glance or a phone conversation and that is what separates them from all others. Love is subtle and not the fireworks that other shows try to sell. It is often not flashy or calculated. It is organic and in the day to day of wanting to be with that person more than those around you. This is the brilliance of the Office and this couple. There may be other couples portrayed as more passionate but none that move me and make my heart soar like these two!!! Your post is spot on as I agreed with every point you made and the fact this couple is like NO other and NO equal!
Everyone says they want this sort of relationship, but in a way, we already do. Maybe there's someone you haven't even thought about romantically, but you click and you laugh, you understand each other, ect;. That's how friendships are, of course, but that's where love starts. It slowly builds over time, it makes you look forward to the little things you share together.
Jessica Victoria Carrillo I think so for sure! Bridget Jones’ diary is actually based off of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I think there are significant similarities between Ben and Leslie to Elizabeth (Bridget) and Darcy. In both stories, Ben and Darcy initially seem very brooding and moody and are hated by their female counterparts. However, ofc this hatred morphs into love over time as they repeatedly interact and get to know each other. Also, in P&P, Elizabeth’s close sister was initially romantically involved with Darcy’s friend, then they separated for a while, and eventually got back together. This relationship is pretty much what happened between Anne and Chris. I! Love! Parks and rec! And I wish more people talked about the parallelism between the two main romances of the show to the Jane Austen novel(:
I think Andy and Erin were never supposed to be a perfect relationship. Erin was supposed to be too good for Andy and Andy was supposed to evolve into someone worthy of her. Unfortunately in season 9, when the show changed writers, they wanted to rehash the Jim and Pam dynamic and made Andy into a worse Roy, Erin into a dumber Pam and Pete into a gentler Jim.
Read each other’s minds? An awesome example is that when Pam is leaving the dry cleaners and can’t reach Jim so she leaves a voicemail. They literally day the same things despite not even talking to each other! I mean, I’d that isn’t impressive then I don’t know what is 🤷♀️
Beautiful analysis. Always loved Jim and Pam, but never thought about their qualities and flaws in this way. After watching this video, I find this couple more real and more lovable.
I preferred the will-they-won't-they of the earlier seasons. New romances are always the exciting part. Didn't think I could be much of a PB&J fan after they got together...but I think this video has made me a believer.
Not an Office fan, but I still respect it for paving the way for committed relationships in TV shows. We might not have Jake and Amy in Brooklyn 99 without Jim and Pam. Or the seasons of Castle where he has gotten together with Becket.
Jim & Pam's relationship was so refreshing to me, b/c usually on-screen relationships always over the top, or packed with drama. They were genuine friends that enjoy and trust each other as people, and managed to be deeply in love while also being real and absolutely normal. If there's any TV couple that deserves to be an example of REAL relationship goals its Jim & Pam. I hope I meet a someone some day that becomes the dear friend i fell in love with.
I know they don't get a lot of attention because of their toxic will they/won't they counterpart but I see Monica and Chandler on Friends as very similar to Jim and Pam. In fact, when I first starting watching The Office, I loved Jim and Pam immediately because they reminded me so much of Monica and Chandler with a few obvious differences and to me, the perfect husband would be a mix of Chandler and Jim
Talking about Pam’s plain outfits disguise her beauty: deliberately omits casino night, the last three episodes or the one with Michael and Jan’s dinner party
I remember when Jim and Pam were fighting, and when Pam starting crying that camera man comforted her. It must’ve been a hard 9 years for that camera man...
13:23 you are talking about Season 9 Andy. You see, the likeable, charming, and overall nice guy Season 4 to 8 Andy somehow died between end of Season 8 and start of Season 9. So the writers have to replace him with Season 3 Andy again but made him much worse. The writers later found Season 8 Andy again and made him appear in the very last episode.
One thing I love about Jim and Pam is the obvious sexual chemistry but they have more than that & weirdly enough it feels more pure and aspirational. Anybody can find somebody they wanna throw on a table but not everybody can find someone that looks at them the way Jim looks at Pam
As much as i love their relationship i don't see some things getting mentioned in their love story. First pam cheating on her fiancee not only physically but also emotionally for a long time. This gets ignored because roy is the perfect bad boyfriend. But roy's personality doesn't justify pam's actions. Another thing is jim leading other women knowing he is in love with pam. I was one of those people who hated karen when i first watched the show. But looking back at it know there is no reason to hate her. She gets the roy treatment despite not having his bad qualities. I like that both jim and pam have this story arcs and moments they messed up but fans ignoring these flaws are not okay.
Arça Ilıcak those things are exactly what any of us would do in that situation, unless you're Jesus (who didn't date so this comparison I chose is weird)
Cheating isn't right, I'll give you that. But with jim and Karen (from my understanding anyway, I've seen maybe 10 episodes of the show if that) Pam had someone and Jim didn't think it was ever gonna happen, so he moved on and tried to be with someone else. That's what you do, move on. Not mope over a could have been
savior139, so are you saying that Karen was in the wrong.. because I can’t imagine those two people (or characters) continuing a relationship even if Jim acknowledged he was getting over Pam he still must have expressed that he wanted to move on and try to make the relationship with Karen work. It’s not like she forced him, or they would still be dating if Jim didn’t express a desire to. I think Karen had genuine feelings for him and put a lot into that relationship. Jim always seemed lukewarm and he never told her he was still in love with Pam, even after they were all in Scranton together. Sorry if I’ve just ranted misunderstanding what you are saying. I just really don’t understand how Karen is flawed as a character. Maybe she’s a little snobby, and she’s assertive and ambitious. But she doesn’t do anything wrong.
I like Pete and Erin together, Andy never did the same effort with Erin as he did with Angela. I rooted for them but looking back it was clear that something was holding him back to ask Erin out, maybe he was scared of having something real. It's bittersweet but it's realistic, there is bad timing in love, also Andy had lots of unresolved emotional issues. Love Pam and Jim!
Or Maybe his afraid of being cheated/used. His high school girlfriend used him to get access on adult world and is easy to manipulate because Andy is naive and dumb just like Erin. 2nd one with Angela. Angela cheated and used him to make Dwight jealous and spite him for killing her cat.
yeah I liked Pete and Erin best. I didn't like the writers ruining Andy and making him a jerk again but even throughout his entire arc it was clear that he was pretty narcissistic (sometimes unintentionally but sometimes obnoxiously) and had a lot of issues. Erin and Andy around seasons 7 + 8 were cute cause they were similar in some ways but Erin put so much into that relationship that Andy really didn't reciprocate. Then as for Gabe there was just no chemistry, but with Pete, Erin finally found someone to keep her grounded and be the more stable person in the relationship (she went through a lot in her childhood yet she always took care of Andy emotionally, and Andy never really gave that effort back to her), so she was able to lean on him and have him supporting her which Andy couldn't really do.
yeah and Erin was somehow the good guy when she cheated to Andy with Plop and told him to fuck off and move on while in previous season after being dumped by Erin, Erin wished Andy's gf to die and have maggots crawl out of her mouth, and tried to make him jealous by flirting with Dwight.
They just grew out of each other i guess, neither was in the right completely but I think Andy was worse. Anyway I still love them both. I think Pete was right for Erin in the end
Jim and Pam are clearly soulmates. This is obvious to the viewer as early as the first season. Even when they get together for various reasons, the show avoids any real passion on screen. Instead we see deep abiding love. I struggle to think of any other show ever that demonstrated this so effectively.
Well I see Friend's Monica and Chandler that way as the show writers tried to make their beautiful relationship the complete opposite of the toxic Ross and Rachel and they totally nailed it cause I lovie Monica and Chandler as much as I love Jim and Pam
This is all the reasons I love Jim and Pam. The realism of their relationship is wonderful. And, to be honest, they remind me of me and my husband. We may not have an office romance, but the way we treat each other is pretty much like them: like best friends and life partners.
It's so sweet that all these idle relationships that are the best in shows have " friendship" as such an important aspect. Chandler and Monica, PB&J, Peraltiago.....these 3 couples that i cherish have so much similarities. Atleast the base of their relationship are. For a person who hasn't started dating people yet these give me a clearer picture about what should be the green flags and red flags whenever I find a guy
What some people don't realize but, is very much true in the sitcom is that not every couple has affairs when the going gets rough or boring and not every couple calls it quits when they hit that rough spot. My husband and I have been married a long time. Neither of us had an affair - and yes I do know for certain - and we work things out. At some point when life hits a rough patch and you've been together awhile and been through those tough times you end up becoming a team. Instead of point fingers or fighting you band together and look for ways to work things out. And we accept each other warts and all. And know how to work with those things.
I'm so glad that both Pam and Jim had their own arcs outside of their relationship with each other. So many shows make the characters, especially female characters, have no depth outside of the romance.
Some really good points here! In short the best romances are the ones with less romance and more companionship Specifically the office’s main strenght was building on Jim and Pam and not do what others do and keep them apart.
I wish one day I can find someone to love, and like Jim and Pam, to be best friends and more. And I don't care if we start off as best friends first, or if we become best friends later, but that would be the dream.
But... But there is no love triangle. It's vaguely hinted at that boom mic guy likes Pam. And I mean it's REAL vague. Pam is not interested in him. That's not a love triangle. In order for it to be a triangle. One party has to be choosing between two people. Boom mic guy was never even an option for Pam. She already chose Jim. Boom mic guy wasn't even on her radar. The drama was that he (and the whole documentary crew) was eavesdropping and recording everything everybody said for the past decade.
@@garretttipton6163 yeah its was never if Pam was gonna choose Boom Guy but how much can Boom Guy influence Pam to the fact that maybe everything wasn't ok.
The very subtle moment was at the end of season 3 after Jim interviews with corporate and he interrupted her confessional by asking her out on a date FINALLY and she asked the camera crew what she was saying. So sweet and funny.
Talk all trash you want about Ryan and Kelly. They are dysfunctional but they still made it. They're weird but it suits them and Ryan mastered commitment. It's a different kinda love but it's love. And well, they're together so there's that.
"The Flipside of Jim and Pam blew my mind. That's very true though, until season 9 they never really fought. So, as this video breaks it down. They didn't know HOW to fight. Let's face facts, a good fight is good for any relationship, because after you cool down, you love each other even more.
OH MY GOSH This video literally PERFECTLY sums up why I love Jim and Pam so freaking much, and why so many people loved them and how the realistic relationships on this show played such a role in why The Office was so successful and well received I think
I would say that Jim and Pam aren’t Romeo and Juliet: they’re better and their story is about the sometimes mundane but far more rewarding turnout of a relationship built of commitment (plus respect and admiration)
I think Erin and Andy was going to be one of the "positive" relationships but Ed Helms had a schedueling conflict and they couldnt justify him being away from Erin for so long so they broke it up. It felt like the writers had a vendetta against Andy because the make him insudferrable in a way he never was before that break. I never liked Erin and Pete for that reason.
If the writers did anything wrong with the whole Jim and Pam dynamic, it was making it too perfect. I get WHY they did it -- it took so long for the payoff of them getting together that they probably didn't feel like they could strip away the dream-come-true quality of what they had created. But they could have explored difficulties between the two of them before the last season when the show had gotten so bad that it was hard to care anymore. By then, it just seemed like they were searching for something to prop up the show as it lost steam.
I definitely go for romances based in friendship, always have. This is why I don't care about grand, sweeping romances, but will get obsessively involved with a ship involving two characters on a kids' cartoon. I do like the love/hate dynamic, but! I don't like it when it stays that way; I need the characters to progress into some kind of unspoken tolerance, then friendship... I'm sure it's no coincidence that this is the way I work in real life, too. I'm generally not interested in someone until I know them pretty well, and... That makes dating hard - it feels so awkward and unnatural, and there's all this pressure. Needless to say, that does not facilitate interest! It sucks, because I'm not in an environment where I meet a lot of new people casually.
If you’re looking to relive some of the goodness of Jim and Pam, try The Newsroom. The couple in that (Maggie and Jim) have strong Jim and Pam vibes and you will love them.
Yup, the writing really took a nose dive for the sake of "drama". Dwight and Jim actually becoming good friends was the most interesting relationship of the later seasons to me. There were some other good things too. I disliked the whole Robert California arc, not because James Spader was bad, the character was a bore to me.
ThatOneDudeWhoIsn'tInTheSameRoomAsYou okay but how in gods name did you find RC boring? He had to have been the most confusing, enticing character ever.
PB&J are really the main reason I still believe in love. There were several moments on the show where I just couldn´t keep myself from crying, it all felt so real.

Shannon Staley bless you for restoring our hope in love
I would pay money to have a Jim
This is why I love the office. You start watching it, and you don’t realize you’ll be invested in a romance, and yet it tricks you into falling in love with Jim and Pam. And then it tricks you into hoping one day you’ll find your own Jim. Or Pam.
I have always wanted a romance just like Pam and Jim's. It's so beautiful to watch them grow together.
Me too. I don’t understand why I do this to myself. I watch the office and then I fall in love with Jim and Pam all over again and I want a relationship like theirs.
After 5 years now, did you find success?
Time to rewatch the office
Doin it every year
Ramir DJ I usually do it at the beginning of each school year but this year I put it off for whatever reason
i just have it on a constant loop. whenever i need something to watch or I only have 30 min I will put the next episode on. I must have seen them all 10 times by now
@@gamesofcontent Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket
I'm from argentina so the show isn't particulary popular here, so I discovered it and started watching recently. It's pretty good, love it's style and specially the camerawork, off to continue watching!
Ryan and Kelly's relationship cracks me up.
Man, are they annoying af or what

I think that was based on real life though? Like that's how they were in real life

Another telepathic scene for Jim and Pam was the telekinesis prank Jim played on Dwight about moving the coat hanger and Pam quickly used the umbrella to move it, it was great!!
Michael and Ryan > Jim and Pam

*I'm sorry what?*
Lol
"Ryan is hot like Jan but in a different way."

WHO WILL?
@@duyguozkann I shouldn't have doubted it, but I was pregnant and super duper hormonal! Lol.
Shauna Mother of Penguins I totally emphasize with the hormone thing. Never was pregnant, but I do have periods soooo lol
I just finished the show for the first time a few days ago and I cried five times during the last season.
The reason i like this show is that it depicts true love which is never always physical but almost always on the way ppl do things for each other. All others shows just show intimacy physically... maybe for views/ratings ...while the office depicts the true love as the beauty of understanding one another. I guess i like it like that.
That's a really awesome point!! They are both, as individuals AND as a couple, truly real and grounded people.
this video made me so happy, I miss wanting to know whats gonna happen with Jim and Pam
I wish you all people here to find your Jim or Pam! They were my fav couple for years and I've been wishing to creat the same sort of relationships in my own life... And I still DO!
I want a Morticia and Gomez kind of relationship. But thank you for your hopes and I hope you find your happiness 😊
I want a Jim and Pam relationship too. Now I’m going to cry
They should thank Dwight. Messing with Dwight brought them together and made them fall in love.
Kelly's "Why not??" at 8:57 always gets me
the parallel they draw though when Michael does his proposal with the sprinklers running... such a brilliant and subtle addition
Absolutely! Greatest TV couple of all time.
The Take: "Erin and Pete are one of the sweetest couples"
Everybody else in the world: "Pete who?"

Pete was my favorite
@@wilsoniothegreat6162 who?
Can't blame Pete for appearing when the series were dying
I loved that look Nellie gave Jim when he was messing with the magician
Everyone says they want this sort of relationship, but in a way, we already do. Maybe there's someone you haven't even thought about romantically, but you click and you laugh, you understand each other, ect;. That's how friendships are, of course, but that's where love starts. It slowly builds over time, it makes you look forward to the little things you share together.
I like how this romance influenced other TV romances. More healthy relationships, and less relationships centered around figthing.
For whatever reason "healthy" seems to basically mean BORING
Jim and Pam’s relationship is much more realistic to me than say Ross and Rachel on Friends who constantly broke up bad got back together.
Shoutout to Leslie and Ben
Ken Leslie and Ben be compared to Bridget and Mark from Bridget Jones's Diary?
They're a great, funny couple but the actors don't have the same chemistry that Jenna Fischer and John Krasinksi have.
Sofia Lesage yess 👏🏼👏🏼
Is it just me or does leslie look like she can be bens mom
I mean, I’d that isn’t impressive then I don’t know what is 🤷♀️
This scene gets me every time❤💔

Beautiful analysis. Always loved Jim and Pam, but never thought about their qualities and flaws in this way. After watching this video, I find this couple more real and more lovable.
They made me believe bruh. They made me believe in people again. ✨

I preferred the will-they-won't-they of the earlier seasons. New romances are always the exciting part. Didn't think I could be much of a PB&J fan after they got together...but I think this video has made me a believer.
That's exactly how I felt about Nick and Jess from New Girl lol
nah this is why i hated Ross and Rachel but prefered Chandler and Monica.
@@emmanuelmondesir1314 I kinda Hate the Ross and Rachel Hate
Not an Office fan, but I still respect it for paving the way for committed relationships in TV shows. We might not have Jake and Amy in Brooklyn 99 without Jim and Pam.
Or the seasons of Castle where he has gotten together with Becket.
Tyrant-Den how can you not be an office fan ?

Tyrant-Den Yes. Jake and Amy are great. #1 tv couple of all time in my opinion.
Charlotte Nele maybe it’s just not their type of show or maybe they never got the chance to watch it
What does "not an office fan" mean?????
“Who doesn’t call a dork like that back?”
That's in total 9 seasons. We don't remember her being tacky that's because she never is.
@@chaitaleekulkarni being deliberately beautiful isn't tacky though, just saying ❤
I remember when Jim and Pam were fighting, and when Pam starting crying that camera man comforted her. It must’ve been a hard 9 years for that camera man...
You left out that they went to marriage counseling. That played a huge part in their success.
These flaws in the characters are good, and they improve the characters, as it makes the characters more relatable to the viewers.
Not mope over a could have been
did you miss the part when Karen still decided to date Jim and have long talks with him even after jim admitted he has feelings for pam?
savior139, so are you saying that Karen was in the wrong.. because I can’t imagine those two people (or characters) continuing a relationship even if Jim acknowledged he was getting over Pam he still must have expressed that he wanted to move on and try to make the relationship with Karen work.
Pepole seem to forget that the reason Andy was being neglectful to Erin was because his life fell apart.
yeah and Erin was somehow the good guy when she cheated to Andy with Plop and told him to fuck off and move on while in previous season after being dumped by Erin, Erin wished Andy's gf to die and have maggots crawl out of her mouth, and tried to make him jealous by flirting with Dwight.
neither person is in the right tbh. andy could’ve called and talked to erin tons of times. he made his boat trip seem like a blast without erin
Brooklyn nine-nine does a pretty stellar job with it!!
Well I see Friend's Monica and Chandler that way as the show writers tried to make their beautiful relationship the complete opposite of the toxic Ross and Rachel and they totally nailed it cause I lovie Monica and Chandler as much as I love Jim and Pam
Everyone talks about how jim and pam is the perfect couple but I want everyone to remember how perfect ben and leslie from parks and recreation are.
Me and my husband are Andy and April
Can you do a video on Leslie and Ben? 🙂
Or April and Andy
@@abwerio88 thanks for letting me know!
This is all the reasons I love Jim and Pam. The realism of their relationship is wonderful. And, to be honest, they remind me of me and my husband. We may not have an office romance, but the way we treat each other is pretty much like them: like best friends and life partners.
I've never seen The Office, but I'm watching the video anyway because I love everything you make.
Awe you should watch it! It's the best!
Missing out. From a diehard fan. I regularly watch episodes when I need a good laugh.

You really should watch it! It’s such a good show. I remember when I watched it I immediately fell in love with that show the first joke.
Its definitely hard to get into at first but its my fave show of all time u should defo watch it !
Noone's talking about how Pam made Jim a whole comic book about him 🥺🥺
Anything even remotely related to Jim & Pam brings a smile to my face and a deep feeling of wholesomeness.
And know how to work with those things.
what about phyllis and vance refrigerator?
Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration😊
Vance the refrigerator
That worldless hug in season 9 .. 😭😭😭😭 literally squeezing themselves together so close they become one.
I'm so glad that both Pam and Jim had their own arcs outside of their relationship with each other. So many shows make the characters, especially female characters, have no depth outside of the romance.
I believe in love because of these two nerds.
Me too
Now do Michael and Holly!
Some really good points here!
In short the best romances are the ones with less romance and more companionship
Specifically the office’s main strenght was building on Jim and Pam and not do what others do and keep them apart.
I wish one day I can find someone to love, and like Jim and Pam, to be best friends and more. And I don't care if we start off as best friends first, or if we become best friends later, but that would be the dream.
The stupid love triangle between them and the camera guy in the last season is the dumbest thing they ever did with this show.
I think they were also ready for a fourth wall break too and that was the best way to do it
That was hardly a love triangle and it barely lasted that long.
Yep
OH MY GOSH
This video literally PERFECTLY sums up why I love Jim and Pam so freaking much,
and why so many people loved them and how the realistic relationships on this show played such a role in why The Office was so successful and well received I think
I would say that Jim and Pam aren’t Romeo and Juliet: they’re better and their story is about the sometimes mundane but far more rewarding turnout of a relationship built of commitment (plus respect and admiration)
romeo & juliet is an extremely unhealthy kind of romance, really
I think you all are changing my mind about wanting to watch the office, if I wasn’t interested before I think I am now that’s how good you guys are.
You should analyze Enemies to Lovers trope, those are my fave!
The enormous smile on Pam's face after the "Great. Then it's a date" line will go down in history as one of the most romantic moments in TV history.
I think Leslie Knope & Ben Wyatt are under appreciated about being the superb couple goal🙌
I miss this show so much 😭😭😭
So what about Scrubs? JD & Elliot, Carla & Turk. They were also co-workers and fell in love with each other :)
Thie Jim/Pam relationship is the relationship I want. Praying to God for this!
New Pete sucked though . And they madeAndy act out of character .
Best romance story ever. TV, movies, any media form. Nothing comes close to this.
