  • Got your hands on a FRESH RABBIT and don't know what to do with it? We've got you!! We'll show you how to quarter and COOK YOUR OWN RABBIT in a pressure cooker / Instant Pot with an EASY and AMAZING RECIPE!
We had a great time on our first rabbit hunt but couldn't bring one down. I promised the family a rabbit for dinner so I had to get creative! Found a butcher with wild rabbit, so full disclosure - this is more of a (Buy?) Clean and Cook. We still had a blast in the woods, and it made for a DELICIOUS DINNER!
We tried out a recipe we found on HappyFoodsTube and we were not disappointed! You HAVE TO try this! Let us know if you liked it as much as we did!

I love this recipe. I'm watching because I never cooked a rabbit in a pressure cooker, but tomorrow will be my first time doing so and now I'm more confident to go for it (the rabbit defrosting as I type). I've always braised rabbit in a pan (turns out fantastic with white wine, chicken broth, garlic, and rosemary). Perhaps there was a little bit too much flour in this dish, but it is a great guide and now I can't wait to cook it myself! By the way, what a great American family.

Hey next time cut that back saddle in half from the ribs and cook them both you won't lose any meat and it's delicious and less hassle. Nice video.

Can I ask what settings you used for your instapot?

Hi Alexandria! Welcome, and thank you for supporting the channel! To sear / brown the meat and to sauté the mushrooms, bacon, onions etc, we used a sear / sauté setting that we have on our pressure cooker. To pressure cook the dish, we used a 'chicken' setting.

Easier if you mix the milk and flour together in a bottle which you shake up well.

Pasta only takes 7 minutes to boil. Any longer and it's over cooked any less and it's under cooked.

Nice work. Little to much flour.

It probably would help everybody if you would actually show people what temp and setting, and how long you cooked it for. I didn't learn a thing other than putting meat nto a pot

Pressure cookers do not have temperature settings. The setting we used is the Chicken setting, and cook time was 5:00 minutes. This is specifically covered @9:44 in the video. If you've got the meat in the pot, that's half the battle! Thank you for watching!
