Man she’s a beautiful ride I love seeing these classic tractors those are the reasons why I chose to drive taking road trips with my parents and stop at rest areas at night watching the trucks idling at night that’s what made me drive it’s been 34 years a lot has changed but I still like it 😊😊😊

I grew up in the time these trucks were still on the high ways and I still love this Trans Star cab over the best of all cab overs. I think these were the most elegant and yours has got to be hands down the best I have seen restored .Nice job it is a beautiful truck .

Thanks for this blast from the past, Miss Red. Hauled lumber and wood chips behind a Transtar II. 350 Cummins/13 speed. Great truck, except for the 1st generation antilock braking system, which tried to kill me on several occasions.
The Transtar II is one of the nicer looking cab overs of that period,nice color sharp chrome clean tractor Sharp, Sharp,Sharp!

I'm in Australia; we've always had Kenworth/ Macks here. Internationals too - back in the day - but not these, sadly. Stunning rig. Doesn't seem so long back a 350 Cummins was a big donk'.....

i seen a dot number can you work a truck this old. it seems he upgraded every inch of it.
I’m in Iowa with a 1972 TranStar 4070A with the 8V-71. Does anyone know of someone or a shop that will work on it? International dealer doesn’t like touching it. It runs, but needs the bugs worked out… Thanks
Maybe see if there’s a mechanic who works on farm equipment anywhere around you who would be able to.
