  • I’m really liking the Speed the more I drive it. Part of getting more comfortable is driving in my backyard, over some sections I know well, so we can really see what this vehicle is made of. The whoop section in the video is pretty deep, like I said, I don’t know how long a stock car, or even a race utv would last, at 40+ if this section was 10 miles long. But we bought this car to drive it, and I know you all want to see it in 4K 120FPS.
    Let me know what you guys think! We have some great content planned for the next month, excited for it!

    Ok ,now I am impressed. That section is super rough when you cruised through it. Most cars if not all cars would not handle the rough like that stock.. this is the video i have ben waiting for. Thanks for the honest content. Cant wait for speed key shoot out..

    I feel like an aluminum belt cover is nt that good for heat dissipation. And the best clutch fan system in my opinion is the one on the krx. A fan on the primary only with the exhaust on top of the primary.

    It would be interesting to know what the scrub radius is on the front of the car. Maybe Shock Therapy will get a hold of a Speed UTV and cycle the front suspension and measure the scrub radius.
    The rear suspension has minimal scrub radius compared to the front suspension as one can see in the video. Great coverage on the Speed UTV.

    After a hard run, I wonder if the belt is heat soaking when it sits for a moment. May need a cooling fan running while it is sitting in between runs when it’s not given a chance to fully cool off.

    There is a few things I don't like # 1 is the vinyl letters are not even straight if you look at where the front door meets the back door they are not lined up at all. I seen that on a lot of them when they was shipped over to the US. # 2 the rear axle there is no upper support at the back. Only has the lower arm. An the price is outrageous. Its as bad as the New Polaris Xpedition a New 2 door cost 50K+. There right there with the Speed UTV. I will stay with my Can-Am x3.

    • @katkinsDLV
      @katkinsDLV Рік тому +2

      The new pics I've seen of the cars ready to ship have the letters straight now. And that rear suspension is so much better and stronger being built this way. The geometry of the Speed suspension cycling is night and day better than the alternative.

      @@ChupacabraOffroad Thank you for that info. I got to admit, I didn't know of that special key that unlocks as much as 300hp from it's 2cyl engine. Very impressive power ( But requires E85 I notice when I looked and that is really not a realistic fuel to use on the trail.and also the fuel consumption is 30-40% more. So the tank will not last for many miles.)
      But although it's engine can produce the horsepower , to me a 3 cyl engine sounds just so much better then a 2cyl. So I feel it was a fail on Robby's part to not at least go with a 3 cyl powerplant.
