- Fire 'n Ice live in my New York studio!
I love switching from clean sound to distortion. I call it “character change”. The technique when I play with a clean violin acoustic tone incorporates different bow pressure and most importantly..pointed attitude. Staccato!
Then kicking in my distortion with the all important wha wha pedal and a little echo and much less vibrato, creates a soaring flight that is hard to put in words…maybe you all can chime in with better wording!? Hi Mark, your performances and playing are next level. I picked up the violin a month ago, discovered you and have been infinitely inspired and can't put them down. I'll be 52 this year with a young family and while my passion is king fu and motor bike riding ( my baby hayabusa) it's like violin has been the willd turn of life !!
My wife and kids don't know what to make of it. I have 2 wooden violins and 1 electric now.
My dream is the viper❤

The intensity in playing between you and Elia on this song in the live in Poland show was amazing. It was like you two were pushing each other to another level.
