Great looking set nice of Robert P. Love Led Zeppelin nice box set everything in one box and remixed! Cool stuff! Nice unboxing Beatles Dustino! Great story from your Father too meeting the band neat!
Awesome gift from the great Robert P. Like your said, he always has a way to make a good set great. Those 2014 remasters are done very well. Glad you were able to get your LED Zeppelin collection filled out in one fell swoop.
What a nice gesture and exquisite work on the LZ box set!!! Santa came early and you deserve it!!! I'm waiting on the Capitol 2004 and 2006 boxes. They should arrive next week and looking forward to hearing and having them back in the collection. It really bugged me about the Capitol US LP box set in 2014....got everything at a good price so all is well. Struck out with the blue MTB... skipped all over the place on both, so that's enough of those for me. Cool video and keep them coming!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Oh that’s right. I heard it’s the nature of this pressing though. Believe Polygram Auctions review explained it. You need to have your turntable setup just right. They’re cut pretty hot.
Pretty cool story about your dad. And a very nice gift from Robert. I was too young to see them in their heyday. I do remember when John Bonham died. (And only three months later we lost another John.) Jimmy Page was among the guests at a listening party for Ringo’s new album so there was a pic of the two of them making the rounds. Not too many pics of one of the fabs and one of the Zeps together that I’m aware of. Also, not sure if you’ve seen them but there’s a bunch of videos popping up on you tube of “if 70s rock songs were done in the 50’s” and there’s some Zeppelin done in the style of 50s country. They’re well done though they tend to sound the same after a few. Still worth checking out.
My dad’s story is fun. And Robert P. is so generous. I’ll have to look for that photo. I can’t think of too many like that either. I tend to stay away from that AI stuff, but that does sound interesting.
Wonderful story of your Dad, Yes Iam glad you like it. When you buy something that is too good to be true, it usually is. Then I take a sad song and try and make it better. If you one day decide to thin out your collection, share it with someone else. take care
After The Beatles, Led Zeppelin is the band I collect the most. In 2009 I asked Jimmy Page if he could release something like the "Led Zeppelin Anthology" and a few years later, he did, in the form of these companion discs. Since then, my appreciation for him grew ever bigger. Which of their masterings you would say that sounds best to your ears?

For sure. Such an amazing gift from Robert P.
Great video ! I like your non Beatle videos. The recent Hendrix box set video was great too! Zeppelin should have stuck together after Bonzo died.
Thanks. I try to slip out a non-Beatles one here and there. Glad you enjoyed it.
Robert P. is a great guy!
That he is. I was so shocked about this.

Robert P was so amazing passing this onto me. Glad you were able to get those sets. Sorry you couldn’t find the blue MTB.
@@BeatleDustino I did find the blue MTB....twice and they both skipped....

Very true. And I will do that. Have to keep the love train moving on down the tracks.
Led Zeppelin sounds best on cd with the original 80s cds. I have both sets on cd and 2014 on vinyl and some originals
I’ll have to look for those. Thanks for letting me know.
With the live album (The Song Remains The Same), expect a massively lengthy run through of Dazed And Confused….but, still an interesting hear.
I saw the track listing showing that one being quite long.
@ yep. 30+ minutes long! But, one of the only places where you hear Jimmy Page use a violin bow on his guitar….to great, spooky effect.
I’ve seen video of him doing that. Absolutely amazing.

Very cool. These are great sets. I haven’t had the chance to listen to them all yet.
