This time, it's full 3 spans at the marine viaduct. What a progress! Regarding the qr code usage for immigration clearance at jb checkpoints, it can be done by linking the malaysian passport onto the mysejahtera app via its new mytrip feature and the trial has just begun at the tanjung kupang 2nd link checkpoint. Finally get to see the familiar green zoomlion 650T crane operated by trans elite which was used in the tbm assembly and retrieval works in the putrajaya line project. Since you about to show the progress of the jrl line, you can have a look at the green ewl line viaduct extension works at pasir ris as well.
Yes, the 3 months QR code trial starts today. Immigration checks can be done using MyTrip QR code via MySejahtera. Let's hope the trial is successful and the use of QR code can be extended to all travelers just like in Singapore. The green zoomlion 650T heavy duty crawler crane was moved into the Bukit Chagar site recently
Great video Mr Yap! I love engineering and all these construction. Will you consider taking a look at the JRL near Choa Chu Kang again? There's a lot more now since your last visit.
Thank you very much! My next video will be on JRL and it will include Choa Chu Kang, NTU, Tengah, Jurong West, Jurong East and Jurong Town Hall area too.
The backward Malays are still using the single track railway the British built a century ago. The current double tracking project was already out of date when it was cancelled in the 1990s when FOUR tracks were needed.
It happened the 2nd time it seems, the "T" pillar, it was at another distance? About "someone bored but have a crane" to try earn and speed up the built. Why it happened the 2nd time?
9mins 36s still create thinking "there exist a train long time ago" here? Is there another type of bridge same as r.t.s link because "it like happened before"? I know, I think the "lifestyle type" of Johor people is at the train path area then exist real people that's like a mind not a script(unless self-training), but if any created to "be only speaking a type of statement that is their wish" still dangerous for target?
IAM preparing for ssv visa. but now I heard in a u tube video that age limit for ssv is only 40.. IAM 45.. I have 3 year bachelor degree . please clarify me about age limit for ssv visa in japan
this video is only 14 min long. but I am sure it take more than 14 days to film it. lot of work behind the scene. from the angle to the timing. not easy. i do videos. i know.
Hi Alan, it was not easy. I took one afternoon for Woodlands North and one day + night for JB side + 1 day of video editing. I know all the filming locations very well and the KTM train timings too, so that helped me save a lot of waiting time
7:27 Really can't stand this 170X. Don't take after 4pm at Kranji MRT unless you don't mind to get stuck for 40 min - 1 hr on Woodlands Rd caused by some selfish lorry drivers. Anyway, nice vid, SG.
Thank u for your monthly updates and progress on the RTS. Can't wait for this to finish by end 2026. Going to JB will like be going to Orchard Road when this is done. By then, most likely won't even need to bring passport. Just your mobile phone to scan QR code and all set 😂
Thank you very much! I totally agreed with you : ) It is going to be so much easier going to JB when RTS is completed. Likely will be using QR code for immigration clearance and the rest is just like taking a MRT ride!
TQ Yap for the update. Hooe it can be readied ahead time, so that to aee if my plans fit in n syn well to the operation of RTS or not. Not syn, plan B shall b actctivated😂😂😂
You are welcome! I saw the latest news report released yesterday, the RTS is about 80% ready. I am also hoping the RTS can be ready ahead of time. Good to know you have a plan B!
The capacity for 10,000 people in each direction per hour remains unchanged when they switched from MRT to LRT. But I do agreed it will be better to have MRT than LRT so that they have the flexibility to increase the capacity when the needs arise in the future

The viaduct extension works on the EWL at Pasir ris is completed and the tracks are now being used to turn trains around

I am glad Dr Mahathir is alive to see the linkup

Wonder the viaduct is not wider enough for two way train tracks, given the spaces needed between the tracks.
The backward Malays are still using the single track railway the British built a century ago. The current double tracking project was already out of date when it was cancelled in the 1990s when FOUR tracks were needed.
The entire viaduct from Woodlands North to Bukit Chagar is designed for two-ways tracks with space in the middle.
@@SGYap How is that relevant to my comment?
@@byteme9718no need to use insulting language…it just shiws what type of person you are..anyway your statement regarding the track is wrong

Thank you so much for your strong support to my monthly RTS Link updates!

Can't wait to ride on Rts link to Singapore this year.
This year not possible, RTS likely start operations in end 2026 or early 2027
Thanks for sharing! Very punctual!
Thank you! I often try my best to publish my monthly RTS video on the first week of each month

Amazing
I suggest to the Johor state government to have a Ferry service (Johor Ferry) to Woodland.
Are they working on it 24/7?
Most of the time the Bukit Chagar site is working on 24/7
Compare with hk zhuhai bridge, Rts is peanut only

should have built this years ago
Spending so much on the infrastructure just to build a LRT instead of a faster, higher capacity, more reliable MRT.

its just a sibgle track viaduct? disappointing
It is dual tracks with space between 2 tracks
drip drip..watching grass grow... chin abuilt causeway in 8 months.... slow and lazy...lol
The rail would have completed if not because mamati stopping the projects because of personal dislike of singapore
Let's hope the RTS can turn operational by 1 Jan 2027. I can see quite good progress when I visited the RTS sites monthly
Wonder when mamati can go to Holland?.......
