    Everyone is an expert.... Lol... The first modern cowboy boots were made in Olathe Kansas in the late 1800s. They were a mix of British "Wellington" calvary boots and Spanish calvary boots. The American design incorporated 1) a 4 panel design with vamps/ front tops, counters/ back tops sewn across the ankles and then sewn top to bottom at the two side seams. They also featured a "Cuban" slanted heel and were made with a R and L foot for each pair. It is an all American boot with innovations that were distinctly different from previous boot designs. The finest boots are made following the traditional 235 step process of a single maker BY HAND, not in a factory, and certainly not in Mexico (sorry compadres) . There are about 185 custom bootmakers left in the USA. These are what REAL cowboys wear......

    • @pianofry1138
      @pianofry1138 Рік тому

      While I support American makers I think Mexican handmade is of equal quality. Factory made stuff is better from the US but handmade requires a craftsman and they can come from anywhere.

      greengoblen1 - own language? Boy the English language comes from England. And words used in America come from a variety of languages including Latin,Germany, Greek and others.

      Where do you think each country's identity comes from? Every country is a mixture of innumerable cultures and influences from other places, not just America. No country has its own culture that is completely isolated from outside influence. Why is that a bad thing, rather than something to be celebrated?
