In June I spent a week in Minorca - in Spain - with my boyfriend. We stayed in Ciutadella, and we moved every day around the island to visit beaches and archaeological sites. Finally, I found some time to edit this vlog!

Thank you so much, I'm happy it will help you 🥰 In the video I forgot to mention that some beaches, such as Cala Macarella and Cala Turqueta, have limited numbers, so be sure to not go too late! I don't think there will be too many tourists in may, tho :) and brings food and water to these beaches, because there isn't any bar or restaurant ^^ Enjoy your trip! ☀

Oh such a nice place to visit! My husband and I have been to Mallorca a couple of times but never to Menorca, maybe next time I'll suggest Menorca instead! Forwarding him this video for reference ♥
Last year we were supposed to go to Mallorca, but then because of the restrictions, we changed our destination to Greece, which was more accessible! One day we'll surely visit that island too!

Hi Rick! I'm happy you enjoyed the video and find it helpful! Ciutadella is smaller and quieter, Mahon is bigger, with more bars and more "life". If I went back there, I would go to Mahon personally, because me and my boyfriend love to have a drink outside in the evening, and there are more options there! But if you prefer a quiet night, Ciutadella is perfect and lovely! Enjoy your vacation! ☺
My wife and I are going in May 23! We are staying near Mahon. Do you recommend renting a vehicle or are taxis available all around the island? Video is an excellent guide to different aspects of island!

Thank you so much ^^ We always rent a car when traveling, we found it more convenient and also cheaper (in these islands scooters are very popular and even cheaper, but we're not able to drive them well eheh)! For this reason, unfortunately, I can't tell you how available taxis are in Menorca, because I never searched for them :( I'm sorry! Enjoy your stay 🥰
Hello! I came across this video because I'm looking for Menorca travel vlogs in order to choose my next travel destination (the choice would be between Menorca and Santorini). I heard that Menorca is a windy island. I madly fell in love with Mykonos last year but the water was freezing cold because of the strong winds and I love to swim, so I would like to know: is sea water in Menorca warm or should I buy a thermic swimsuit? Thank you in advance if someone will answer me.
hi erika! the week we were in menorca the weather was always nice! there was wind only one day, but it was cloudy and a bit cold, so it was really a "bad weather day". otherwise, it was always sunny and there was no wind :) maybe we were lucky! and the temperature of the water was ok! however, last year we went to santorini (i haven't had a chance to do the vlog yet, unfortunately 😢), and that week it was really windy instead! even though it was sunny, it was always very very windy. even here, maybe we were just unlucky ahah anyway, if you like the sea, i feel like recommending menorca. there are very beautiful beaches! santorini is very nice and breathtaking as far as the cities are concerned, but there is no particularly beautiful beach, nothing to say “oh wow!”. other people we met there were a bit “disappointed" with the beaches.
ps: if you like "postcard beaches", i highly recommend kefalonia, so far it has been the most beautiful island i've seen! if you are interested, i made a vlog about it ^^

Was it cloudy for the entire week?
Hi! No, only one day was windy and cloudy. The other days were always sunny :)
Was the water warm?
When I was there in June, the water had a pleasant temperature, not warm but not freezing either. I would say normal, you can enter without problems! A friend of mine who worked there all summer, said that in august it was warm!

Well shot video (I know those places). But I don't understand why there is kept the original sound in its entirety with countless noises (which is normal for recording from a regular camera, without the use of a specially protected microphone, so it needs to be fixed!), and was just covered by music playback. Too bad, without this mistake, the impression from the video could have been better.
Hi! Thank you ☺️ I always keep the original sound as background because I prefer to maintain a natural vibe in my videos ☺️ but I understand that not everyone can enjoy it! Thank you for your advice and comment tho, I appreciate it!

I love those beach, but I don't like chickens around for me is so disgusting.
