Can you turn the self-propelled off while it's on and the blades engaged? Tryimg to figure out at a dead end or corner while its in self propelled mode with blades on if i have to shut the mower off to move it etc
It comes with a fast charger. The 10 amp hour battery charges in 60 minutes and lasts for 70 minutes in setting 1 for blade speed which is plenty for me. I can mow .39 acres and still have juice left. It’s got more power than my Honda hrx217 which is the best gas push mower you can buy.
@@americandude3825Debating this mower in the aluminum or polycarbonate deck or the commercial version the LMX5300SP. However, the LMX5300SP is a single blade and typically single blades cut like crap vs 2. However, I'm getting older and like the appeal of electric. My concerns are as follows: 1) Will this mower leave clumps, lines, and trails of grass while mowing 2) I've read reviews that this will not pick up/vacuum leaves very well even with the high lift blades installed (doesn't come with the mower, apparently) 3) Debating on getting two 12ah batteries, buying mower by itself or the 10ah battery and charger combo and one additional 12ah battery as I want to be sure I can finish my tasks, I'd prefer fast dual battery charger if they make one 4) Most importantly, I've read where Ego customer service is a joke, and if your mower stops working, you're helpless and essentially have a very expensive paper weight due to no local dealer support I think with earbuds and hearing protection on the loud as hell whining from the brushed self-propel drive system can be overlooked 🤔 I'd appreciate any and all feedback or suggestions 😄
@@shanew7361 hey. I haven’t bagged with it yet. But the double blade is great for our thick grass. It has plenty of power. More than my hrx217. I purposefully let the grass get about 8” high. Go with this as you get a 10Ah battery. We have commercial as well and not worth the money difference at almost double the price. Suction/ torque on this model is out of this world. I tossed the high light blade on vs what came on with the other blade. World of a difference. Cuts very clean, mulched great and pickup/ bags with ease. We’ve been ego owners since start of company and very great company! Customer service is impeccable and gets things done quickly. We’ve been fully electric on cars and lawn since 2008 and wouldn’t change a thing.
1- From my experience it depends on these things: - how high is the grass when you cut and if it's high, let's say 4in are you attempting to cut it down to 2". - is the grass wet? 2 - mine picks up leaves just fine. However I don't wait for an entire tree of leaves to fall before doing it. After I dethatch I run the mower over the thatch and bag it. It's been working great. The other thing to consider is, it's not as compact as the other models, it doesn't come with a side shoot attachment
@InfinitePCGaming ego does come with side chute attachment where bag goes. Noting out there performs to this level unless electric. No bog down and clean cut that produces nice lines without a roller. Read comments on all other mentions.

hi, how much do battery replacements cost and how often do you need to replace? thank you. i’m looking into getting this one but a man at Lowe’s came by and told me to consider the cost of batteries

Not using the self propel huh? That whine is seriously annoying. I’m getting the commercial version it has brushless motors in the drive motor which is basically silent
