So if you are comfortable reading hangul you can consider reading lyrics in korean, whatever you feel like.

Last night I watched a House of Cards performance which is totally mellow compared to Mic Drop. It's just the vocal line. You should give it a watch when you have time. I'm a huge BIGBANG fan too, they introduced me to K-pop about 15 years ago so I'm forever indebted to them. I never would have found BTS otherwise. Don't worry about not recognizing their faces. Don’t stress out to know everyone’s face and name! It took time for everybody, I initially confused Jin, Jungkook and V, today I can even recognize his silhouettes! What helps is watching their content, like Run BTS, Bangtan Bombs and so on. When they are all young it’s harder, now they have grown and lost the baby faces so it’s easier!
What a hype song! The original version has a grittier sound and more Korean in it if you want to check that out on your own. The live is so cool too! Saying Jungkookie is so cute, and also just so you know, Yoongi goes mostly by SUGA, as Agust D is more for his alter ego solo side.
I think you’ve just about got it, but I was the same way at first too… being unsure and not wanting to get it wrong. And it is hard sometimes too because the guys change their looks so much from one video to another. Eventually you’ll get to the point where you can pretty much pick them out from their voices and dance moves before you even see their faces.

He did RM & Suga's verses too although the crowd came in with the assist cuz they were yelling almost every word of the song. He also performed his own solo songs On the Street & More. This is the Remix version so you might enjoy the original Mic Drop which has more Korean. This is a great performance song or get hyped song, I do jam this in my car every once in a while. And yep this was a song for the haters you wouldn't believe the amount of people trying to destroy these guys' careers especially in 2015, 2017, & 2024 has especially been a battle with some powerful corrupt people in the kpop industry who want BTS gone. J-Hope and Suga's verses are my favorite part too but the whole song is a bop.

I preffer Patreon because creators can watch live performances, concerts, shows, many cool things that are blocked on youtube. Of course the membership is nice for support, but the 2 things have different purposes.

When I started I couldn’t tell most apart. Once you learn their voices it gets easier. I would suggest doing some rap line videos and vocal line songs. It lowers the number of members and you get to see them performance longer to see the differences in their singing and stage presence. It’s your journey and there is no right or wrong way to learn.

I think you’ve just about got it, but I was the same way at first too… being unsure and not wanting to get it wrong. And it is hard sometimes too because the guys change their looks so much from one video to another. Eventually you’ll get to the point where you can pretty much pick them out from their voices and dance moves before you even see their faces.

I'm glad you like this song! J-Hope just performed this BTS song Mic Drop at his solo performance in Paris, France for a charity event called gala de pieces jaunes. He did RM & Suga's verses too although the crowd came in with the assist cuz they were yelling almost every word of the song. He also performed his own solo songs On the Street & More. This is the Remix version so you might enjoy the original Mic Drop which has more Korean. This is a great performance song or get hyped song, I do jam this in my car every once in a while. And yep this was a song for the haters you wouldn't believe the amount of people trying to destroy these guys' careers especially in 2015, 2017, & 2024 has especially been a battle with some powerful corrupt people in the kpop industry who want BTS gone. J-Hope and Suga's verses are my favorite part too but the whole song is a bop.

I hate Patreon, I’ve been hacked a couple of times there when I’ve tried to support creators so I don’t do it anymore, but if a creator I really like has memberships, I support that way, and I’m happy to do it as you give me lots of entertainment 💜
I preffer Patreon because creators can watch live performances, concerts, shows, many cool things that are blocked on youtube. Of course the membership is nice for support, but the 2 things have different purposes.

When I started I couldn’t tell most apart. Once you learn their voices it gets easier. I would suggest doing some rap line videos and vocal line songs. It lowers the number of members and you get to see them performance longer to see the differences in their singing and stage presence. It’s your journey and there is no right or wrong way to learn.

Hi Jiro! I always smile when I see you reacting! The meaning of this is a slap back to haters. You would not believe how much crap BTS had to take (and even now) from the other companies, the media, k-pop shows, other groups and their fans, even individual attacks. Suga and RM were angry even before debut. So this song is an F U to all those haters, about how successful BTS is. Whenever you see black hooded people, those are haters. They're in Fire, Not Today, and others I can't remember. The lyrics to the Cyphers, especially Cypher 3, and Agust D's song "Agust D" are about haters. BTS had to fight really hard to overcome a lot of this. There's a good video about harms by xCeleste.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction. ty. U got Jhope right and Suga/Agust D. Mint Yoongi(Suga) is iconic with army. =0] U knew RM and Jk sweet. Steve Aoki is a DJ yes. He has a song called Waste It On Me Ft. BTS members pls check it out. There is an MV. Rush Hour by Crush ft. JHope has a part of Mic Drop choreo. They are naming their song I'm Fine in the lyrics. This song was the 1st time i heard Steve Aoki. Never heard of him before. Mic Drop: It's a slap in the face for their haters by saying they're at a point where it doesn't matter what you say because your words don't matter anymore. It's also a flex song by pointing out how many trophies they have because at this point they'd need a U-Haul to get them all. Just for an example, in Korea there are weekly music shows by various stations and the winner gets a trophy. Dynamite their 1st Eng song has 36 (I think) award show wins and that's without any promotion on their end. Fun fact: Mic Drop was inspired by President Obama's mic drop when he left office. =0] I know about the dance break they added. There is a practice video for that. And they have performed this song with the new choreo for a while now. I saw another live with it. The lyrics "Did you see my bag? It's hella trophies and it's hella thick" are extremely meaningful. A lot of K-pop fans were mocking them for not winning any daesang (grand prize) - despite coming from an almost bankrupt label with no power - compared to other groups (from bigger - to not say biggest - labels). They are the biggest group in the world and are all successful soloists as well! They all are lyricists (especially RM) and producers (especially SUGA) but they all write, produce and compose to different degrees. The Rap Line - RM, SUGA & j-hope - participates more because they have more experience as they are rappers. RM and SUGA even used to make music before joining BigHit and BTS
- RM writes and produces a lot for BTS and himself. 'Intro: Persona' (BTS solo) and 'Nuts' (solo) are some of my favourites (He did too many, it's hard to recommend just a few),RM(1st mixtape), Mono(2nd mixtape), Indigo(1st album), Right Place,Wrong Person(2nd album). [RM did write (participated in writing) a song for TXT Lovesong it's his 1st song for another group.]

I watched this music video 3+ years ago, and it changed my life. I thought “OK, I will watch anything these guys do, because this was phenomenal.” When they released it in November 2017, it hit number one on iTunes in 80 countries in a matter of hours. They had a great year that year, but this MV and remix put them into the stratosphere. I still have not heard any song even remotely like it. It is an exquisite mix of styles. Genius stuff.
