I'd probably get a Crestliner with a Yamaha. I can build a nice trailer so just a few hundred for material. I like the way Gregors look but I still lean towards the Crestliner.
I've had a G3 1448 for well over a decade and couldn't be more satisfied. I started out with a 10 Hp Mercury and it would plane out just a bit over 20 mph. Now I've got a 25 Hp Yamaha 2-stroke and it goes 30 or better flat out (with more gear). Plenty fast for a 14' boat. The thing I like about it is that it's wide as my dad's old 19' jon-boat but you only have the one seat to climb over to get up to the bow (which doubles as a live well or storage). It's nice and stable for a small boat and is handy on smaller lakes and rivers if you're solo fishing. You can still bring along one full size person and gear and still be < the weight limit for the hull. You can definitely get on the water for less than $10K and that would include life jackets, oars, fire extinguisher, throwing device, signaling device (whistle), a fishing pole, a dozen worms, some potato chips and a six pack. If you have the budget, I think one would be better keeping the boat small and load up with, running lights, a trolling motor, some decent sonar, and maybe a Bimini-top to keep the sun off.

The cheapest way to have a good jon boat is to buy the hull used. Found a bare aluminum 14 ft Jon boat with trailer in excellent condition on marketplace for $800. Went to a local boat dealer and walked out with a brand new 15hp efi Mercury for $2900 out the door. That's a sub $4000 boat build. That's what's gonna get you around so you don't want it to have problems!🎉
My first boat was a 1959 Alumaline 14' boat. The wood benches and wood transom were rotted and there were a few other problems with the trailer , but I got the boat and trailer for all of $50. A transom is just a sheet of plywood coated in epoxy and he benches were rebuilt with aluminum angle and plywood. A new drain and plug and a little welding solved the big issues. The trailer needed new tired and wheels as well as getting the bearings repacked. I had the trailer sandblasted and painted it with bedliner. A few new bushings in the springs, new wood and carpet bunks and some new lights got me a boat and trailer that were usable. I then got a 1976 Johnson 6hp motor and fuel tank for $400 and I was ready for the lake. Including purchase price, I went from a non-floating, non-trailerable hulk to on the water for about $1,000. Since then I got a small fish finder and a transom mount trolling motor as well as installing some rod holders. The total cost is now about $1,500 and it's the perfect small lake boat. My latest boat is a 1985 16' Sea Nymph with a 1983 50hp Mercury. It cost me considerably more, but I went from a rotted hulk needing new floors and transom as well as needing all new foam and electrical with a non-running engine to a fully functional boat for less than $5,000. The key to both of these boats being affordable is the ability to rebuild them myself. If I had paid someone to do the work I would have spent at least double the cost.
I bought a Sun dolphin American 12 $599.00, 12 ft by 7 ft flat utility trailer $2,500.00, 6 horsepower handkai two-stroke outboard motor $573.00 , pexmoor 46 lb electric trolling motor $125.00. All of them are brand new.
I almost bought a Tracker while at Bass Pro Shop this morning on sale for 16K - $169 a month..... Drooling....... Maybe in another year after I free up some financial obligations....... 50hp Merc electronics 555lb capacity this is trailered as well.... Wayne im torn, maybe sell my skiffs trailer and use those funds on down payment on the BPS boat...... Thanks for your wisdom
Right when the pandemic hit in march 2020 i got a 1997 astro 17ft bass boat and trailer with a 2000 Mercury 90 for 4k and the boat was super super clean. Now its worth more than 10k thats just crazy!!!
I fish the same spots that the big boats go, I'm in a 15 foot boat that burns 1/20th the fuel, I launch from the beach, and have a blast. Would a big boat be nice? Sure. Would I catch more fish? No. Would I have more fun? Probably not, it's wild out there in a smaller boat.
Don’t buy a boat! Mine was as expensive as my full sized loaded truck leather best stereo wheels tires breaks and over 300 hp v8 ++++. A boat is a massive ripoff I mostly fish from an old cedar canvass canoe and catch just as many fish as when on my aluminium fishing boat!
That’s not bad considering I just bought a 14’ aluminum welded V hull Marlon w/ 20 hp mercury 4 stroke short shaft And a new Karavan trailer Cost was $13, 995 out the door All in Boat got 2 captain chairs, & Bimini top
I'm about 2 days away from buying an 88 searay weekender 230.. it's beautiful with absolutely no damage, never been in salt, 900 engine hours, and new teak.. I'm stunned that I'm getting it with the trailer too.. kind of apprehensive but I can't find a single problem.
Tracker was drinking when they built my boat, hull welds failed basically all the way down the keel from 3/4 bow to the strern. Oil canning. Spent about 100 hours fixing it.
You could buy an 18’ Saturn for $1800 and put say a 30hp Suzuki on it for 5k leaving after ttl. Buy the biggest of the harbor freight trailers for $900 and you’ve still got a $1800 give or take for a console and seating to taste.
One important feature, I believe all of those are welded boats, there are cheaper boats available, but they are riveted construction, not fully welded. A welded boat has a much longer lifespan over a riveted boat, it's a better deal over the long haul.
Almost bought the Tracker from Bass Pro Shops. Bigger engine, side console. The salesman talked me out of it. Thankfully. The way the bottom is put together allows water to get in the seams. Fine for fresh water. In salt water however the trapped water causes seams to corrode and leak.
10,000$ is a very high starter price.. you should consider an analysis with historical data.. the Tracker you mention 1:24 use to sell only 4 years ago for 3,500 and was targeted for BEGINERS.. now you have to saddle up 10k for a NEW starter boat(just motor-less boat and trailer. bare bones without even a paddle). THATS INSANE!! they have priced the BEGINERS OUT OF THE MARKET!!
There are new boats you can put together for much less, and there are still used boats and motors around that can get you on the water for under $1,000 - like this one I put together here: ua-cam.com/video/pFdxSapNQfc/v-deo.html
Buy a solid, used Lund boat for $500-$1000 with trailer. Fix it up with accessories, rod holders, livewells, etc. Trick it out with a new 40 horse 4 stroke. Take the extra $3000 and go on a long fishing trip.
I have a 1994 Grady White 208 with a 200hp Yamaha on a Boat Master dual axel trailer. It's covered up and in mint condition. I bought it in 2005 for 16 grand at a bankruptcy auction. I love the thing. I'm closing in on 64 years old. I live on the gulf coast of Florida. I may sell it soon.
Back in 2016 I bought a brand new 16 ft side console with a 30 hp Evinrude and a trailer. It has a floor, livewell, pilot seat, some storage, and lights. $13k……..plus tax.
This market for boats is crazy. I'm keeping my 14.5 foot Legend with a 30hp Mercury forever. I remember when I was looking at a brand new Triton Bass boat TR186, matching trailer with a 150hp Mercury XR6, a base trolling motor and sonar for $23,500 Canadian!!!
@@mckessa17 I gotta keep the 30hp because it is a 2 stroke and gives no problems. I don't even run full throttle, so I'm not even using the 30 horses, want reliability over power. Still maxes out at 44 kilometers (27MPH)
Thx for the video. I’m new to boating and enjoy watching. Suggestion for your next video. If your new to boating don’t make these mistakes. What ever those might be :)
Thank you! There seem to be so many things to know, remember and learn when it comes to boating. I was quite overwhelmed the first few times. I did make a video covering some of those things - ua-cam.com/video/BtcNR2d2EAM/v-deo.html
Grizzlies are rock solid all welded boats. They are heavier then a standard aluminum boat. My Griz 1448 goes 28 mph with two good sized dude with a Evinrude E- Tec 25 HP short shaft.... and huge gel cell battery, and bow mounted trolling. Plus it has versa track very cool for adding accessories 😎 Does The Lowe's have that. Plus a safer flat floor?
That's a nice setup! Lowe has Jon boats as well, but I included these brands and models because they are different types of boats in the same price range.
@@WayneTheBoatGuy I had a trailer from a previous boat. Tracker will only let you buy the the 1448 without a trailer It is mandatory on the others. I have about $8200 into my rig that's boat, Outboard motor, electronic and bow mounted 55lbs trust trolling motor. If I added a stainless prop she would do 30+ with two dudes. That's fast in a 1448!
I understand new means hassle free, here is the issue. Let somebody else take the brunt of brand new, then when is depreciates like a car of the lot, you swoop in and buy it. I bought a 1985 16ft Mirro Craft with a 1990 40hp merc for 2,000$. They are out there people. Love the vids
I bought a 18ft dual console with a 115 Opti Max on it for 5000 and I put a ultra trolling motor on it and a gps maps fish finder all in about 10.000 for the rig u can find good deals if you look around.
Really look into tohatsu. Tohatsu has made motors for the Japanese fishing industry for over 50 years. And every merc and Suzuki motor 20 hp down, is made by tohatsu. I retired last year, and bought myself a new motor. I was running a 1965 evinrude 9.5 two stroke. It was still running good, but my brother needed a motor, so I gave it to him. I bought a tohatsu 9.8 four stroke. I bought the 9.8 instead of the 9.9 because it’s 30 lbs lighter. The 9.9 is injected, and the 9.8 is carbureted. The 9.8 cost me 2k delivered to my door, with new tank and hose, spare parts kit from online outboards. The fuel economy has amazed me. After the annoying break in period, the mileage kept getting better and better. I have a 14’ aluminum v-Hull, and with me and all my crap in it, it pushes me at 17 mph. With a friend in front, it goes 14. Sorry for rambling, but when I find a great deal, I like to tell folks lol
I have a used boat right now, love that boat, but have been trying to sell it... I have had 0 offers, or inquiries, nothing for the past 3 months. Market at least where I'm at is crazy right now.
That really depends on too many unknown factors - state or province/age of engine/hours on engine/condition of boat/condition of trailer/titles and paperwork/accessories etc.
This video is perfect for me, am looking for something to tool around on Bass River then drop anchor at boaters beach on days don’t want to take out real boat or seas too rough. Can you do this for what you can get for $20,000?
Thank you for your outstanding support to silly people that would have waited so much money. We can go to Las Vegas for what I would have done. Long Island to Vegas. Thanks
Forgive me if you did this already, I haven't found it yet.... but would love to see more vids like this for maybe 20k and 30k... maybe even a 15k if you feel like there's enough in there to justify it.
For $10K you could buy 3 really nice pedal-driven or even electric motor kayaks. And much cheaper to maintain! And how often are you fishing more than a few miles from the ramp anyway? Best part - you don't have to worry about someone asking you to take them along! 🐟
@@penguin12902 Sure you can get trailers. I'm 55 but I easily cartop my Hobie Compass, it only weighs 68 lbs. I have a kayak cart to tote it to the launch site if I can't unload it right there but usually it's not needed. I live in Chicago but have cartopped my kayak as far away as southeast Louisiana and southwest Florida to fish those places. But I warn you - kayak fishing is addictive!
Academy Sports sell a 14ft one-piece aluminum hull boat for $1,700; add a brand name outboard for $3,500 and trailer $1,500 and we have a brand-new package for around $7K
I just want a new tracker 1436 Jon and they don't even make them anymore due to costs/scm issues. They were under $1000 before all the problems started.
Okay I'm going to check out some of your videos I liked the layout of this video very cut and dry. And pricing is pretty important but I really do want to boat in a year. But I hardly know anything about boats and I'm thinking a used boat but I know votes can be expensive to work on and I will buy a mechanic knowledge is very limited
Just buy used you get an actual boat. I bought a champion 187 with 175hp mercury for 8,000. Thats with a trolling motor and I ran it all season with no issues. Theres no compelling reasons to buy new. Even if the motor needed to be completetly replaced it would still be 20,000 cheaper than new.
Here in Ontario $10k gets you a beat up 30 year old fibreglass that needs motor work and interior work and exterior work… or buys a 16ft 20 year old aluminum tiller with like a 15-25 outboard… absolutely ridiculous
Nobody considers inflatables as "real boats" but I got a 13 ft inflatable and motor for under 1900 dollars. Mind you, they are a renewable resource, since they tend to last between 3 and 5 years when not made of Hypalon, but this thing is super sea worthy and I can car top it. They make up to 18 footers with aluminum floors for under 3 grand. just saying...
It must be Maryland. Many states and localities jump all over you if you have 10 HP and up. Why not buy a Manhattan taxi medallion, if you like red tape? 20 HP is if you want to tow laden barges. All that weight is no fun on the transum of a 16 footer.
Absolutely fantastic video just keep in mind a grizzly tracker 1648 is extremely dangerous on the tidal river trust me Chunky finds out every time he’s out
All this year it was just word of mouth by me and a few of my friends selling my 2008 Key West 1520 with galvanized trailer and a 50HP Yamaha 2 stroke outboard with only about 100 hours on the engine with Garmin 545s brand new cobra FM/VHF radio and garage kept under a boat cover in almost new condition with all the extras, life jackets, flare kit, fire extinguisher, etc for $12,500.00 and they just kept putting it off. oh well, another spring and summer is on the way so I will advertise it publicly.
you surely are an experienced boater, so I'm curious as to why you think that $5,000 for the Tracker, bare bones, is the best deal? There're certainly better options to be had for less than that. A classic aluminum V hull would cost about $1000 less, for example... why insist that a person entering boating needs to go new? A new boat suffers the LARGEST depreciation of any other...there are amazing deals to be had on used boats, and the new trailer you bought would cost about $500 less if only 5 years old
I have other videos about used boats under $1,000 and other 'shopping' topics. This video is mostly for the shopper who isn't comfortable buying used and addresses exactly how "much" they could buy with a $10,000 budget for all new items. Many new boaters and shoppers don't really understand what it all costs or realize just how expensive new boats can be!
If you are on a budget or you are the type of person that likes to go price checking after you have boat something to see if you got a good deal. Do not buy a boat right now. Wait a couple more years. The prices of these boats are way to high. The Tracker classic use to hover just over 10k and now that bastard is over 15k. Keep saving your money and in a couple years you will be able to buy much more boat for your money. I can guarantee you, fishing isn't going anywhere.

Today with plasma arc cutting , any one worth a spit, can cut out and build a wooden jig , so you can clamp metal to it. Spend some time welding samples, Your not getting half that outa me. Suckers born every day.
For that money I would have gone with a 13’ Zodiac Grand Raid with a 30 hp Yamaha and trailer! Much safer than little 16’ aluminum boats! Been there done that on the ocean not sure about these boats on big water!
Yes Wayne a lot of guys say l need a boat to go fishing but when have you heard someone say l need a boat that’ll bring back from fishing at the end of every fishing day!!
The sad thing is, Im watching all of these how much boat can I get for X amount of dollars and all of them are jon boats with a lower than expected hp outboard that feels like you're getting ripped off. I can go get brand new sea doo spark 3 jet ski for 6k. I understand boats are going to be more expensive. I just feel like once you hit 20k price mark you can get whatever you want. Not the same for anything less than 10k.
Even getting a used outboard costs nearly as much as getting a new one these days. I am not going to spend 2k on a 2002 Mercury 15 hp 4 stroke outboard.
Used boats are great if you are very careful. Easily find a decent setup for under $10k. Might come nearly outfitted as well. People die. People divorce. People stop fishing due to health problems. People upgrade.
What would you buy if you had $10,000 to spend on a new boat?

Big deal, today you can get a '76 Johnson 6hp for even less than $400! 😜
@@SSHitMan One that runs perfectly and looks like new?
I bought the same one new '21 for $15k, they are really nice boats. U can find them lightly used for 12-13k today yet.
Very good info here, thanks, and happy New Year
Right when the pandemic hit in march 2020 i got a 1997 astro 17ft bass boat and trailer with a 2000 Mercury 90 for 4k and the boat was super super clean. Now its worth more than 10k thats just crazy!!!
We’ll done video Wayne!! Good info too. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks 👍
Love, love your video. THE SUBJECT I was looking for. You’ve done a whole bunch of research I wanted to know. Thanks 💕
For those watching, looking to get out on water... ive had more fun in a 14' boat then ive had on any other boat😂
Nice!
@@MegaPancakes i think i payed 68$ to run every weekend last year with mine😂you cant beat it! Shes slow, but shes reliable, manageable, and cheap
Totally agree. I have a 15 foot open bow that I leave home half the time to take the 12 foot aluminum lol
That’s not bad considering I just bought a 14’ aluminum welded V hull Marlon w/ 20 hp mercury 4 stroke short shaft
And a new Karavan trailer
Cost was $13, 995 out the door
All in
Boat got 2 captain chairs, & Bimini top
I'm about 2 days away from buying an 88 searay weekender 230.. it's beautiful with absolutely no damage, never been in salt, 900 engine hours, and new teak.. I'm stunned that I'm getting it with the trailer too.. kind of apprehensive but I can't find a single problem.
Outdrives are the problem
@@AlexKehrOfficial had it for a year, put 30 hours on her so far. Tons of fun.
Tracker was drinking when they built my boat, hull welds failed basically all the way down the keel from 3/4 bow to the strern. Oil canning. Spent about 100 hours fixing it.
dang!
You could buy an 18’ Saturn for $1800 and put say a 30hp Suzuki on it for 5k leaving after ttl. Buy the biggest of the harbor freight trailers for $900 and you’ve still got a $1800 give or take for a console and seating to taste.
I’m looking at the Lowe boat. That package Is right at my budget! Thanks Wayne 👍🏼👍🏼
You're welcome!
One important feature, I believe all of those are welded boats, there are cheaper boats available, but they are riveted construction, not fully welded. A welded boat has a much longer lifespan over a riveted boat, it's a better deal over the long haul.
Good point! Some of these hulls will certainly last a long time.
I have a 1969 Starcraft offshore. It's riveted still in great shape. But it's a name brand boat
Superb video, very informative 👏 👌 👍 😀
Thank you!
That’s crazy last year I got a tracker 175 with a 75hp decked out with hummingbird helix’s and big trolling motor for 10k
Wow - was that new?
@@WayneTheBoatGuy 2018 had so more stuff done to it but definitely a awesome deal in todays market
Almost bought the Tracker from Bass Pro Shops. Bigger engine, side console. The salesman talked me out of it. Thankfully. The way the bottom is put together allows water to get in the seams. Fine for fresh water. In salt water however the trapped water causes seams to corrode and leak.
Interesting. Was it riveted and not welded construction?
The Lowe with a 20HP outboard and decent trailer isn't bad.
Polycraft i think its on a more realistic fiber class boat level with the # 410 and above , especially for saltwater uses..
Very nice!
Back in 2016 I bought a brand new 16 ft side console with a 30 hp Evinrude and a trailer. It has a floor, livewell, pilot seat, some storage, and lights. $13k……..plus tax.
Nice!
Thanks for the insight!
My pleasure!
I bet that 14.5 ft Legend is a fun boat!
I have the same boat but I ditched the 30hp Merc for a 60hp Merc and now she flies.
@@mckessa17 I gotta keep the 30hp because it is a 2 stroke and gives no problems. I don't even run full throttle, so I'm not even using the 30 horses, want reliability over power. Still maxes out at 44 kilometers (27MPH)
This maybe a stupid question but what about gas tank n fuel line battery
I just bought a Lowes 1467 with a 30 hp Nissan 4 Stroke and trailer for $3,500.
Nice! I assume that was used and not new?
Thx for the video. I’m new to boating and enjoy watching. Suggestion for your next video. If your new to boating don’t make these mistakes. What ever those might be :)
Thank you! There seem to be so many things to know, remember and learn when it comes to boating. I was quite overwhelmed the first few times. I did make a video covering some of those things - ua-cam.com/video/BtcNR2d2EAM/v-deo.html
That’s grizzly is a sweet rig yeah but what can you get for 10k on the used market
Talk about a deal, I got a 05 Crestliner 1860 with a Yamaha 90hp with a Tennessee trailer for 5 grand.
Grizzlies are rock solid all welded boats. They are heavier then a standard aluminum boat. My Griz 1448 goes 28 mph with two good sized dude with a Evinrude E- Tec 25 HP short shaft.... and huge gel cell battery, and bow mounted trolling. Plus it has versa track very cool for adding accessories 😎
Does The Lowe's have that.
Nice score!
I bought a 18ft dual console with a 115 Opti Max on it for 5000 and I put a ultra trolling motor on it and a gps maps fish finder all in about 10.000 for the rig u can find good deals if you look around.
Nice!
When I lived in MD few years-old ago, bought a Alweld 1242 john $1800 ,galvanized trailer$1300, Now shopping motors ,9.9 sounds about right
Really look into tohatsu.
I have my eye on a 13 foot 2004 Boston Whaler with a 40hp 4 stroke merc on it for 10k with trailer. Not sure if that's a good price or not.
That really depends on too many unknown factors - state or province/age of engine/hours on engine/condition of boat/condition of trailer/titles and paperwork/accessories etc.
The Lowe V-hull is mislabeled as a jon boat.
This video is perfect for me, am looking for something to tool around on Bass River then drop anchor at boaters beach on days don’t want to take out real boat or seas too rough.
Can you do this for what you can get for $20,000?
Boat prices have been going up for ever. I have been chasing boat prices for 30 years.
I would try a kayak but I don't want to have to muscle it around...do they make trailers?
@@penguin12902 Sure you can get trailers. I'm 55 but I easily cartop my Hobie Compass, it only weighs 68 lbs. I have a kayak cart to tote it to the launch site if I can't unload it right there but usually it's not needed. I live in Chicago but have cartopped my kayak as far away as southeast Louisiana and southwest Florida to fish those places. But I warn you - kayak fishing is addictive!
That's a different approach! Those pedal kayaks seem fun!
Academy Sports sell a 14ft one-piece aluminum hull boat for $1,700; add a brand name outboard for $3,500 and trailer $1,500 and we have a brand-new package for around $7K
That's not a bad setup!
I just want a new tracker 1436 Jon and they don't even make them anymore due to costs/scm issues. They were under $1000 before all the problems started.
Yeah I was doing a search for new small (12-14 ft) boats recently and there's very little available
I opted for the used/more bang for your buck option. It took a long time though, there are so many thrashed out boats on the market. Be careful!
There is a lot to learn with boats!
Prices are high - but check out the Legend website - They're Canadian and their 16 Widebody comes in at about $10,000!
Ok so not new but used I got a 06 Bayliner gonna be the best summer and there after the rest of its life
Awesome!
My dadjust bought a used 10ft Exhilarator for 10 grand with 20hp on it dont know if its worth it
It must be Maryland. Many states and localities jump all over you if you have 10 HP and up. Why not buy a Manhattan taxi medallion, if you like red tape? 20 HP is if you want to tow laden barges. All that weight is no fun on the transum of a 16 footer.
Best boat is a friends.
Thanks.
Absolutely fantastic video just keep in mind a grizzly tracker 1648 is extremely dangerous on the tidal river trust me Chunky finds out every time he’s out
Yeah good point!
I got a brand new bass tracker classic xl with a 50 horse power mercury trolling motor fish finder seats lights gas tank trailer for 13,000
Nice! Those are now going for $16,000
@@WayneTheBoatGuy yes mine is a 2021 we got a great deal the next year they went up in price
You can always get more when buying used!
you surely are an experienced boater, so I'm curious as to why you think that $5,000 for the Tracker, bare bones, is the best deal?
Anyone know how to
Import a boat from europe?
Good luck on the used market right now LOL. Also, people generally neglect the fact that you need a decent tow vehicle.
I got a 2020 Yamaha G3 guide xt 16ft similar looking to this for 2400 and 1100 for the trailer. With tax 3900 out the door, to bad I can't send pics
Wow that was a deal!
Great video! Very informative! I'll stick with a used boat lol
👍
3 K for Aluminum to build my own and 5K for Engine and rigging. I can do a Trailer for under 1K.
As with any boat you buy, you get a hole in the water in which to throw money.

Buy a 15 foot Legend boat with the biggest motor you can get on it. Best bang for the buck.
Yeah! They seem to serve Canada well - no dealers in the US 🙁
For 1k I have a 1960s StarCraft 14ft shallow v hull, 2001 mercury 15hp 2 stroke that was used 5 times it’s whole life before I bought it, a minnkota 44lb thrust motor, and a shitty trailer that needs some work.
Nice! I also have a video about my 1k boat - you did better than me!
10hp is underpower for a boat that size? You gonna go racing with it or something ?
Today with plasma arc cutting , any one worth a spit, can cut out and build a wooden jig , so you can clamp metal to it. Spend some time welding samples,
Your not getting half that outa me.
Suckers born every day.
Great deals on aluminum boat rigs last about as long as a chocolate dip ice cream cone on a windy 90 degree day.
I think the motor comes with a fuel tank in the box
10k in Australia gets you a 12ft aluminium boat with a 4stroke 20hp Suzuki ready to fish.
would love to see this same concept applied to 20, 30 and 40000 Dollars. Super info. Thanks
For that money I would have gone with a 13’ Zodiac Grand Raid with a 30 hp Yamaha and trailer! Much safer than little 16’ aluminum boats!
Been there done that on the ocean not sure about these boats on big water!
That's an interesting option. Big water certainly isn't the place for some of these lower sided boats!
Yes Wayne a lot of guys say l need a boat to go fishing but when have you heard someone say l need a boat that’ll bring back from fishing at the end of every fishing day!!
G3 has been a Yamaha boat for over 10 years
You gotta do just boats. Extras are necessary but the title is how much boat you can get for 10k
Yeah you’re not wrong!
Anything good under 15k
Suzuki's 25 hp is $1147 might be able to do it closer to 7k
Wow is that what some people are selling a new 25 hp for? I haven't seen any new 25 hp outboards that cheap!
@@WayneTheBoatGuy Glodok marine not sure how reputable they are or how long it would take to arrive
maybe a 16fter
Used boats are great if you are very careful. Easily find a decent setup for under $10k. Might come nearly outfitted as well. People die. People divorce. People stop fishing due to health problems. People upgrade.
What would you look for when buying used boats. My grandpa and I are looking for a small boat.
Find the best bass boat under 20,000 please 🙏
Even those are creeping up! That's why there's so many people buying one of these and converting them to bass boats.
With $10,000 you can get a good used boat
Do a $1,000 version of this video?
I've done cheapest new boats and what you can get for $1,000 used but $1,000 new could be a challenge!
