C6 Z06 & ZL1 1LE Lap Compare at Oregon Raceway Park (0.04 seconds apart)

I drove a Heavily Modded C6 Z06 and a stock ZL1 1LE at Oregon Raceway Park on the same day. Both cars have the ZL1 1LE's TPC spec Goodyear Supercar 3Rs. Though the lap times are insanely close, the Camaro's best lap came in the first session (due to ambient temps) where the Z06's best lap was the end of the day (first shakedown of the new setup which I needed some confidence first). The 1LEs best lap came with two passes and I was still leaving time on the table in a few sections (first session back at ORP in a few years). On the flip side the Corvette trended about 0.5seconds a lap consistently faster in the heat of the day. Overall, the best laps from each vehicle ended up 0.04 seconds apart and they lap so closely that the ambient temps, tire shape, and surface conditions could lead an edge to one.
