Y’all just chill it’s gonna be fine. They do listen. Jordan brand had problem like this where people started talking and they fixed the problem. The final result will be good.
I am here to just shame Jake if I may. Going a bit back, but you guys talked about Fallout series in FPS podcast, Lucy mentioned how much she loves watching Michael Emerson, and Jake DIDN"T KNOW WHO HE was. Excuse me, but there is this thing called Dark Knight returns, you guys probably never heard of it. And they made Animated adaptation of it which was brilliant, and Michael Emerson played one character, you guys probably never heard of him, his name is Joker I think... Michael Emerson's Joker is widely considered as one of the all time best, his version was one terrifying sick psychopat. So yeah Jake, we need to take your geek card please, you should freaking know who Michael Emerson is.
It's just another Sweet Baby Inc Dumpster Fire. Just another Remake created in the vain of Wokeness to appeal to a "Modern Audience" that doesn't exist. I'm ditching the DEI slop and I'm going back to Emulating the PS2 version of Silent Hill 2. Can't even get a good Remake of a beloved game because the Wokies can't keep their tendrils off everyone else's stuff.
Hey you're the best man
I'm sorry if said something shitty before.
I honestly wish they did a remake of the first Silent Hill first.
I don’t really know anything about silent hill but it seems odd to choose the sequel of a game to remaster instead of the first game
@@doomsday6372 1) It was more popular/critically acclaimed and generally considered the favorite of them all. - Greater cashgrab potential for Konami.
2) It's a stand alone story so while the first game is background for the setting, the second game is disconnected from the overarching story that is picked back up in the 3rd game.
Thank you! I’ve been saying this ever since this game was first announced. Most people jumped into the silent hill series with SH2, remaking the first game would expose the original game to a lot of people. SH2 is such a classic and I feel it has no chance to live up to the original SH2.
It's such a bad sign that they started with SH2. Feels like a cashgrab.
@@zimmy4868 100% agree. I'd love to see the first remade. Even if it isn't amazing, I'd still happily consume it. Meanwhile I'd have to hear nothing but the utmost praise for the remake of 2 to give it a shot tbh.
Unless u were there in 2001,Silent Hill 2, pre-youtube, it will never hit like the OG, this is what I miss from the old days.."NO SPOILERS", priceless!
Yes! Exactly
Yup. 16 year old me appreciated every second of Silent Hill 2 and MGS2 back in 2001 on my new shiny PS2. Both games blew me and my friends away.
Been saying this for years. I tell younger or more recent SH fans, you had to be there
100%. There's a huge difference between experiencing it for yourself and going into it with preconceived notions of what it's suppose to be.
I was brand new to gaming in 2001 and SH, GTA, Resident... The remakes feel lacking and very 'Fisher-Price', all rounded edges.
I almost miss a ctr screen and a second hand ps2.
That old era of game magazines was so special. I used to collect them and use the screenshots and art as drawing reference, to practice my skills. I enjoyed Game Informer, but there was also Electronic Gaming Monthly and Tips and Tricks. (That's how 8 y/o me managed to beat Ocarina of Time, btw.)
Lol same 🫡
Lol I used to do the same thing for art class. I'd bring the latest issue of Game Informer and trace the coolest looking thing from it.
I still have like 30 game informers from 2007 to like 2013 time period. That and some old high times magazines.
OPM too for PlayStation! Gosh thanks for reminding me of those times 😅
I couldn’t afford many games growing up so I did chores and mowed lawns to buy the mags. Will never forget biking in the hot sun for two miles to buy a PlayStation issue with the MGS3 demo 😌
They need to add that iconic sound from the original game whenever you grab something.
...they did
@@WhirlingMusic when was that? earlier today? no gameplay I've seen so far.
@@mickael486 it's from the 16+ minute gameplay trailer when James is wandering around the town. He picks up a health bottle and you hear the effect. They pitched it up but it's still the same sound
tu nu....
Silent Hill 2 is my favorite piece of media entertainment of all time. I do not care about the combat, or how detailed the visuals are persay, I really only care about the story, lore, and fundamentals of the psychology being correct and intact. Even if one were to extend it, add to it, deepen it, fine, as long as it is all airtight correct, because the originals deep lore was very intentional and perfectly executed. You change that, and you do not have Silent Hill 2.
They are deeply changing it , and you should care about everything they are changing because they will keep doing it .
They also made deals with sweet baby ,and that's very worrying....we are lucky they didn't change James for a woman ,all the charters will look different ...to the worst .
@@tumado7304 Nah, I just think you're being a doomer and saying everything is alot more shit than it really is. Yes, Angela looks fuckin awful but she also looks exactly like her concept art which is different from the original game, so that's honestly really cool even if her eyebrows look glued on. James and Laura look amazing too, the atmosphere is so thick you can reach out and feel the density and the graphics look amazing. There are some negatives but i think in being so negative you're judging the game too harshly when we dont even know all that much about it quite yet
@@tumado7304 Keep that "EVERYTHING HAS GONE WOKE" bullshit to yourself.
@@lunarpunk6530 SPIT
@@lunarpunk6530 just say it that you have never watched nor understood a single FMV from the OG nor the art director's perspective, and the VAs dialogues. the remake is a soulless reboot that butchered every single aspect from the OG. if you can't see it it means that you played the game like a resident evil and that's it.
What's missing is a VHS style filter That you could toggle off if wanted but obscured the graphics and dirtied up the image a bit. Make it a option to play it in high resolution 4K glory But make it a point To keep it gritty by default. Even if It's just an option after the fact I would like to see something like this as an option.
no its not. the second time I replayed SH2 is in 4k resolution 144 fps without the noise filter, upscaled textures, and complete reshade with path tracing mods. guess what ? the game still scared the shit out of me 15 years later.
konami pissed on their source material to make it more resident evil like, because if their colossal jealousy over RE remakes from capcom. they want income and sell pachinkos
@@bombastik_bomb Silent Hill (the first game) was literally made to bank on RE1's success... and the devs said they were literally trying to copy RE's formula in many ways.
@@bombastik_bomb
People need to stop with the just outright sky is falling attitude when it comes to this. I am a Silent Hill fan and ever since 4 Weezer head the game that is a travesty or something that doesn't capture the tone or pacing of The Originals. From what I've seen and especially from the gameplay footage we just have recently seen it looks like the team actually cares. I'm looking forward to this because I'd rather have something celebrating the past that will at least put Silent Hill back in the minds of the industry. Would you rather just keep it dead?
Konami obviously gave them a decent budget. It's going to be different so just accept that and put away the pitchforks until we get the full game. We haven't seen gloom and doom Worthy previews yet outside of the unlimited ammo trailer Konami first put out. As a fan I'm glad this is at least happening and it doesn't look like pure trash. It could actually be good, but we don't know yet. I'm just saying a filter would be nice to have on top of that hope. No need to s*** on the possible filter too.
@@TerryRed they ended up being unique, and created a new genre that revolutionized the psychological horror theme while RE focused more on the survival horror rather than psychology, but this is also something that you didn't process while comparing it right ?
@@Sticks_of_Truth yeah so, you're excited to play as konami CONTRACTED bloober (and they confirmed), a resident evil with not a single soul of silent hill.
silent hill should stay dead as it was since 4 knowing that konami has no intention on providing you a team silent game but western type silent hill. it looks like homecoming, but blinded by low standards you will enjoy it, and overshadow the real masterpiece. that's all that's gonna happen
The first Silent Hill is also my favourite!! One of the first games I ever got, unfortunately I never beat it. One of my earliest gaming memories is hitting one of those flying enemies with a pipe, and jumping for joy that I hit it.
Speaking of forgotten games, does anyone remember the N64 game Diddy Kong Racing? I used to love playing that game with my dad, but I haven't heard a single person mention it since it was a thing
I've been playing DKR again lately, the game is actually quite tough, still tons of fun. Don't forget that diff chars have different stats in the game: acceleration/top speed/handling.
Yea I played it all the time with my freinds and the battle mode lol
Amazing game. It was as big as Mario Kart in it's day. It feels like it has no legacy, though.
It was the best racing game out there.
Was one of my most played im pretty sure next to mario kart 64 when it came to playing N64
I’m stoked for the remake man. The visuals in the trailer look like what we dreamed about in 1999. I’m calling it now and it’s gonna be a hit. I just wish the first Silent Hill would get a remake
Same
I hope Silent Hill 2 Remake is a success.
Never get enough of these Q&A videos. Enjoy watching you talk about stuff you like!
I'm such an evangelist for this game, but if you're looking for that OG Silent Hill fix I *highly* recommend SIGNALIS if you haven't played it yet. Really nails that old school RE/SH vibe but still very much its own thing. It's like $25 on Steam, and a play-through takes like 10-ish hours. It just oozes atmosphere, mystery, and emotion. It's a must-play if you like SH.
Haven't finished it yet but signalis is awesome so far
Yes, this 100%. Similarly, there’s an older game I love called Lone Survivor. It’s basically if Silent Hill had been a SNES side-scroller.
Dude, Signalis was so good. First time in years (last time was SH3 probably) I felt so soaked in the atmosphere, while trying to piece together what's going on and feeling that the game is actively messing with my brain. The game deserves all the praise it gets.
@@kosmosyche Totally agree! It's been months since I finished it but I still think about it all the time, like it's wormed its way into my brain and won't leave. It's similar to the "poisonous truths" in the cosmic horror stories that the game is so heavily inspired by. So dark and twisted but beautiful and alluring at the same time.

Man bringing me back, having a huge stack of Game Informer magazines in the TV area, watching G4 TV, playing PS2 and PS3. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Pepsi Twist was legit underrated and I still dream about it. I have memories of waking up after a long night of Mario Party 4 with the boys and walking into the den to see Pepsi Twist cans everywhere. Great times.
Astro Bot was definitely the best in show there. Also as an amateur editor, that fix it feeling definitely just hits the spot sometimes, especially when you either get it right on the first time or finally figure out a particular edit.
Super appreciate the in depth answer! Ironically I’m from Jersey and worked at Wawa while I was in college. The Wawa half gallon is definitely just part of the culture in Jersey at this point. I also prefer coke but I loved Pepsi twist so much to this day if I’m at a restaurant and lemons end up the table I’ll squeeze one into my coke if I have one. Shit bangs. Also shoutout Andrew!
Off topic, but I really loved how you just straight jumped into the question and discussion as soon as the video started😂
Great watch as always 👊🏿💜
Please don’t lose sleep Jake. Best wishes
A game to TV show adaption that I would love to happen is Alan Wake directed by Mike Flanigan who has played the games, loves them and he told Sam Lake that he would love to direct it.
I love Mike Flanigan's work. This sounds amazing to me. I second this!
Well, the adaptation is on its way. I think AMC is producing it
oooooh would be all over that
I’m so happy you said Astro Bot, my brother and I are so excited for the new game. I really hope this encourages others to try out the pack in game, it was such an enjoyable nostalgic trip.
Mentioning Wawa's peach tea AND Advent Rising just made you one of my favorite people. Found out about you from Friends Per Second and I'm glad this was the first vide of yours I came across.
Old game I love that nobody remembers is Urban Chaos. It was an open world game set in new york.
That game was badass.
I remember playing that to it was a great game
What a game. My god. Made my christmass so good
edios interactive, I used to play that game a lot too, same with warzone 2100
As a big snacker myself, I love eating small bite sized foods while gaming. Whater are your top three gaming snacks? I gotta go with Sunflower Seeds, Combos, and Zotz candies.
chilled soda
Man, an animated Metal Gear Solid series in the artstyle of XIII. That's something I'd watch.
I would love the old original 2d metal gear games remade with an isometric view like the old Commandos games or War mongrels
Mg2, would be pretty similar to metal gear solid.
I'm still surprised they started with Silent Hill 2. I understand it's the most popular but SH1 is still locked to the original. SH2, we've had re-releases and "HD" versions and now a remake, but SH1 seems kind of abandoned and that's a bummer.
Also I didn't know anyone else knew the joy of Mountain Dew Livewire so big shout out. That was my answer for Soda that isn't around anymore
Wouldn't be surprised if this remake was a cash grab
Its kinda like how capcom chose re 2 over remaking 1 or 3 to start. Re 2 was the one people liked the most
watch, sh2 will be a cash grab, it wont be as good as it should be thent hey will announce that SH1 remake is in the pipe and they "will take what we learned from sh2-r and we promise that this time we will get it right"
SH2 started the "it's trauma" trope which has become most copied trope in psychological driven horror games. Which is so unfortunate. Because I think SH2 was an experimental deviation that turned into an accidental masterpiece that badly overshadowed the other 3 original games (1, 3, 4), in which "The Order" cult had become a largely forgotten aspect of Silent Hill. Silent Hill is now best looked at, and remembered for "it's trauma" trope, rather than the mystery of the "The Order" cult.
@@magita1991 actually RE1 had a remake since 2002, and RE2 Remake was a fan request since these GameCube days
Advent rising was such a fever dream of a memory lol. I used to play that on the og Xbox I got as a hand me down
Was literally drawing Femshep fanart on clipstudio paint and then you mention the SSV Normandy, what a coincidence lol
MGS: The Twin Snakes like "Am I a joke to you?"
With your Matrix wannabe cutscenes full of ludicrous stunts and rocket surfing? Yeah, definitely a joke…

Sounds like you could use a game informer subscription, and an ice cold soda of your choice. Take the edge off. ❤
Damn wawa ice tea, you took me back!

Looks great! They really nailed the right amount of fog
Looking great and playing great are two different things
And no one has played it yet so making the assumption that it doesn't play great is silly.
@@warriormen0 I never said it didn’t play great.

Advent Rising!!!!!!!!! I rented that from blockbuster!!! Also Darkwatch was so sick!!!
I remember I bought and played advent rising! Lol
I remember loving advent rising. Dual wielding guns and psychic powers, what’s not to like? I think the story was pretty bad ass too, but it’s hard to remember, maybe I am making that part up lol
Big up London!!
I love the room
You're the man Jake!
Considering how well Shadow of the Colossus and Demon Souls was remade, imagine if Bluepoint Studios was in charge of the remake.
it still konami's contract you know that right ? it's konami who forced in the contract to make the game a resident evil like, you realized that ? bluepoint capcom or whoever else this is konami's contract
If it was Bluepoint they'd tone down everything that was weird and they'd remove all the shadows and fog because they care more about showing you their HD textures than preserving the atmosphere of the original.
@@Moonboogie it's still konami's contract so, bluepoint has no say
Filthy casuals thought those remakes were good
Demon Souls remake got a lot of backlash tho. I liked it but a lot of People were unhappy with it.
Mountain Dew Livewire tastes like an orange Otter pop and is my favorite of all time
I disagree with how it tastes. but I agree it's my favorite.
@@user-vg6qv5jv3w agree to disagree but still brothers in the best flavor of all time
8:00 ADVENT RISING!!! I remember they had a million dollar contest that they cancelled for that game, and a whole trilogy planned that never happened. I also remember walking around the space ship thinking “graphics have never looked this good, it’s like real life” hahaha. Was a good time. And you just shouted out Too Human too? Fuck yeah. What’s next, Two Worlds II?
On the more mainstream side, we need Prototype 3, The Darkness 3, SSX 4, and Burnout 4. Please and thanks, I know you can get it done Jake.
Appreciate that Borderlands 2 mention in today’s video! You’re the best
If a DEI consultant firm is hired - the old lore will be in serious trouble.
They have confirmed it they have DEI consulting to conform the game to "modern audiences" so yea the game is gonna be crap like all other crap Konami tried to release that Kojima originally made
Haha i feel sorry for all you losers
Homie you attributing Wawa to Jersey and not PA got me out here steaming lmao. Wawa started in PA an wasn't a Jersey thing for a long time, but I feel you. Honestly, Wawa should be everywhere at this point. They are simply the best when it comes to late night munchies. I used to binge their Glazed Popems.
My mistake! It won't happen again
Jake, did you ever play Halo 2 / Halo 3 on XBL with your boys when you were in HS/College? If so, what were your favorite maps? If you had to run to pick up either the Energy Sword, Rocket Launcher, or Sniper Rifle, which one did you usually go for? Man those were some of the happiest memories
I can't wait to finally play the game when it releases these October
My concern is that the original had a genius-level amount of attention to detail that all came together to create the atmosphere that awestruck audiences and left that everlasting impression. Replicating that without fully understanding all the nuances and reasoning behind all the artistic decisions can only lead to a general downgrade, not in the gameplay or the visual fidelity but in the atmosphere and the atmosphere is where a game like Silent Hill lives or dies. If they change a lot but can still capture the same level of horror and futility the original did (or even come close) I'd say it's a huge success, but I will not be holding my breath.
It doesn't feel like much was changed, the biggest one is Angela's design, and even that doesn't feel random as she resembles earlier sketches. The only thing which could alter it is the brand new content, most likely based on concepts for the game too, that's what has the potential to be better or worse to me.
@@Harsh-mg2em ? a ton was changed. The entire lead-up to the patient demon was completely different. All the character models are different. The delivery of the character lines. The monster models are quite different (especially the patient demon). The monster animations completely different. The environment is a good bit brighter. The hospital looked almost unrecognizable. The perspective is completely different.
Not all of that was bad though, I'm intrigued by the new environments and how the perspective change will play out. Map and item interaction was a neat touch. Graphically it looked pretty good (animations not so much).
But at the end of the day, the question remains if all those changes end up working against the sense of dread and overall atmosphere of the game as well as how many underlying themes get severed because a change that seems like it wouldn't matter actually erases symbolism that was used in building the game world for those of us who delved deep into the lore and meaning of things.
To the average person it may not seem to matter. But everything in the original was heavily laden with symbolism and multi-entendre which really fleshed the world out and added so many layers to the psychological horror. Even as an unknowing player, removing/changing a lot of that could still greatly impact the experience without the player being able to articulate why.
@@VyxelOP I think it sounds like a lot when you write it out, but mostly it's inconsquential changes, doesn't really matter to me if the attire is slightly different.
I get some things, like you can think the lead up to the first enemy worked better in the first game, but it's not something that stood out to me as bad, I might feel differently about other events if they change them.
I think a lot of what you describe as changes as also generational leaps, the voice acting in the original feels a little cheesy now, at least in my opinion, and the enviroment just looks more realistic. I only played SH2 a little with my friend, but we both loved seeing how empty and hauted the hospital felt here.
Great video
Oh man, Advent Rising! I loved that game and honestly really enjoyed it. Thanks for bringing back those memories.
I like the 1st three Silent Hill games by Team Silent the most, especially 1 & 3. Love 2, as well. The only Team Silent one I didn't care for is The Room. Liked the plot, but Team Silent changed a few traditions in that game with things I didn't like, such as degrading weapons & respawning enemies. Oh, & I don't drink soda often, but when I do I'm also a Coke guy - Cherry Coke, for one. Vanilla Coke sounds awesome. Hafta try that. Sounds like Cream Soda. (upstate NYer here).
Remake Dino Crisis 😢
Man your room vibe is like a Resident Evil cozy save room.
Does anyone else want a new remake of Resident Evil 1? Might just be something I want.
You’re not the only one. Kinda wish that were Capcom’s next remake so we can setup the Wesker remake trilogy (1 to C:V to 5).
No. The remake that we already got Is perfect as it Is. Another remake but just in third person would be ridiculous. I kinda hope someday Capcom revisita Dino Crisis tho
@@nicolasriveros943 This. To this day the 2002 remake is my favorite entry.
Aren’t yall tired of keep reliving the same games? We damn sho don’t need a re 1 remake. We already had the OG and the 2002 remake
@@LoneWolfe_XX The resident evil games are like my junk food. I never get tired of them😂. Maybe it’s cause I didn’t grow up playing the older resident evil games but I don’t like the fixed camera angles.
I have to be honest, Silent Hill 2 should be left alone. It was fine, back then. Just come up with something new instead
Not preordering this either. I already enjoyed the original.
It's funny how nostalgic and Cloud your memories of certain things. Why I love Silent Hill and the horror franchise within games. I also remember the Silent Hill game is being kind of frustrating when it came to the combat it was clunky it didn't work too well and he didn't feel very dangerous to your enemies. Also I recall having to pull up the map several times to see where I've been and where I need to go and I found the whole gameplay Loop sometimes pretty tedious and I remember an underground Subway section that really threw me off and really confused me so some parts of that were not so great so I'm okay with the revisions and I hope it's a more cohesive experience
210th like listening to my favourite, honest game reviewer and source of knowledge! 🙏🏼 🎮
Overused term but silent hill 2 remake just looks extremely mid. Im just gonna emulate the original on steam deck
Dont be nervous Jake, its just a game
I think it's going to do fine.
I’ve been nervous about it but this latest gameplay trailer really did set me right. I think it looks great
Another video another month of asking Jake would he rather fight 50 kindergarteners or 1 kindergartner who’s 6’7 (strength scales with size)
Lame ass question..move on
What kinda question is this tho respectfully
Astrobot was absolutely the highlight of the SoP. Can’t wait for that to drop.
Silent Hill absolutely scared the hell out of me as a kid. It is crazy good. The first alley you go down with the lighter was so creepy and different than anything else out there.
Also games that people don’t remember, Omega Boost, Full Spectrum Warrior, and Body Harvest always come to mind. I still quote Full Spectrum Warrior every so often when I see one of my cousins who used to play that game as well.
I just recently played SH2 for the first time ever, and I absolutely loved it. After seeing all of the Remake footage so far, I am also worried. I really hope that Bloober Team doesn’t mess this up and they deliver an amazing game 🙏🏻
I always appreciate your measured, mostly positive attitude towards games, gaming and the industry. Do you ever find it hard to maintain that positivity when negative news hits (studio closures/game cancellations), and what do you do to bring you back to positivity?
Man, such a surprise to hear you talk about Oaktree ice tea as that was my all time favorite from LI. Dairy Barns! I live in MD now and need to try Wawa iced tea. Which town on Long Island are you from?
I remember playing Advent Rising as a teenager and being excited for a sequel. 😂
What franchise that hasn't been in games would you like to play? And what genre would best suit it?
Yeah me too Jake.
Mountain Dew Distortion was my favorite!
Hi Jake! My question is regarding the recently announced PMI tour: How does you guys arrange travel logistics? Do you carpool together in Eric's van or travel differently/separately?
I've never heard of Advent Rising before, but based on the footage you showed looks like Halo we have at home. Lol
hahaha
Totally with you on Advent rising, I had such hype when I finished that game as a kid. I tried to replay it a few years back but it was really rough and I unfortunately understand why it never got a sequel now.
Haha, I remember it being really good as a kid as well. I think I will try to play it now and just keep the dream going…
Awesome video jake! I was curious about what some of the things you are most looking forward to in gta 6 mechanics / gameplay wise like gore, environmental destruction, weather system, etc or any details at all! Thank you guys for the awesome videos at gameranx and you for these videos.

If you could live as any video game character for a day, who would it be?
Hey Jake, what's been some of your best moments or stories as a creator so far?
I love how you called the story of the first Silent Hill boiled down, simple and straightforward...I played through the entire thing the first time, having little to no idea what was going on. I was also like 14 maybe so...
It looks like the combat is gonna be about as deep as the callisto protocol’s combat was.
It's fine.
Hey jake on the fps podcast you talked about playing the early access to the prince of perisa game was wondering what your steam deck library is like and how often you play it im about to get mine ! Love your work
Thanks for the content you provide! Curious, how do you feel or think about an updated TMNT game? I was recently playing Guardians on PS5 and it made me think about the possibilities. Sorry if this has been answered or covered.
So I completely overlooked Astro’s Playroom, playing it for a few minutes to see the dual sense features but after the Astro Bot trailer looked so good I went back and treated it as an actual game instead of a tech demo and really enjoyed it so am now hyped for a longer full game
Alter Echo was a cool one that I remember vividly playing.
What’re some of the first comic book series / comic books in general you would recommend for someone wanting to start getting into it?
I’m so happy you mentioned clock tower that’s such a nostalgic game for me, most people have no clue what it is.
7:39 Shinobido for the PS2
And you are doing right.
Congrats Jake on learning how to drive a manual car 👍 Its never too late to learn and is so satisfying. I still buy manuals when I can, I more recently bought a brand new car and new generation model in 2020 thats still available in manual - the Suzuki Jimny here in Australia, which you guys in North America know as the Suzuki Samurai although you guys only got the 2nd gen, mine is a new 4th gen.
I miss Wawa!!! Had them in College Park MD! I moved to central Ohio in the mid 2000’s and have yet to see one.
All I want is the exact same story with qol gameplay/graphics and an option for the original Playstation like tank controls and forced cameras. The original was such a great game and the further you deviate from it the less likely it is to fall short
Right! I just really want them to add more stuff to the hospital, apt, but it's would be cool if could explore the town
I think them removing the fixed camera angles was a completely bad decision. Really removes a layer of that cinematic and ethereal nature. Maybe them keeping the fixed cameras could've distinguished them from the Resident Evil remakes; but that's the problem, I don't think they want to distinguish themselves from that, I think they (probably Konami) want this remake to fall into that exact same REmake market despite the fact they are entirely different franchises that do different things well.
Jake you're a yapper and I love that. My question is how long is the video before you edit it down?
Fun fact about advent rising Orson Scott Card the creator of Enders Game wrote it!
I'm curious as to your thoughts for where the next entry in the God of War franchise could go. Kratos has gone from violent maniac to pensive father, and I'm interested in where you think the series will go next. Do you think an Atreus adventure is viable, or will Sony Santa Monica tap back into Kratos' rage issues for subsequent installments? Personally I think that dragging Kratos back to protect his family would be too similar to the Norse saga, and a new installment where Kratos renews his bloodlust could undo his growth from the newest games and the Valhalla DLC.
