Aptera doesn't have an internal engine or 9 second 0-60 as stated at 1:50; that is likely the specs of the original from ~2010. The wheel motors achieve 3.5-5.5 second 0-60 times depending on FWD or AWD

I've been seeing these cars online for the past ten years and never even seen one on the road. Something this simplistic should not be expensive. I'd like to see small displacement motorcycle engines in these vehicles and electric gas diesel engine hybrids that don't need to be plugged in.
In North America there's still too much red tapes and outdated for these mini EVs. They talk GREEN and strict EPA but rather make it easy for the huge F150 or Big Dodge Ram on the road than encourage more use of these.
Got to love how they keep showing vehicles that are not on the street or available for sale ... it's now like waiting for the never to ever be built Eliot motors trike.. ev or gas. .just continued pipe dreams of 10 or more years.. and ev are 10 years behind times to ev cars.
@JusSaiyan209 I would love to get the elio model with no motor or and put in my own drive train.. im mirebof a exterior customizes so as as it drives a decent speed. I'd do mods to match my style. It's the all weather factor that's intriguing
What I'm concerned about is who will repair these vehicles, and where? At least they won't need oil changes. Supposedly, the engines are simpler and less vulnerable to faults/breakdowns than combustion engine vehicles, but sooner or later.. Also, in most countries they will need regular road safety checks by qualified mechanics with appropriate equipment. How does that work outside of big cities when there are so many vastly different models? I hope there will be good solutions.
@@carlanderson4139 yes I know. The video said it was 9 seconds which is grossly incorrect. Also “200 mpg” in the video is also incorrect. I was just pointing the fault out with the video creator.
Why can't the failed companies of EVs release their design/molds to the Diy KITCAR market!? The technical people who value efficiency, can build these in a home garage with a kit from Factory Five (example)
there is a test drive of the prototype where they have a guy get in the back. It looks very tight and it is but you don't squeeze your legs behind the seat, you put them around the front seat which they did on camera.
Better is ²H¹O, that's H²0 split to hydrogen and oxygen, igniting above 700°C, 2 Hydrogens to one Oxygen, captured from air and turned to water (H²O) and combusted in an otherwise conventional engine set up. How easy? Take a bottle out of fridges into warm rooms, in seconds you have water condensation on it you can draw patterns in. Split it using an electrical strike (as lightning does) but in a vessel containing the condensed atmospheric water taken originally from the air. That's the key to the future without putting up with batteries replacing combustion engines (/^v^)/...
Vanderhall is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for its performance numbers and range. Also, Venderhall has an extremely poor after purchase customer support. HARD PASS!!
Top 10 trikes and tiny EV Models of Today!!!* You forgot your asterisk as some have not made it to market yet. Therefore not truly of today for the public. Thanks for the partial click bait.
@James M: The Sondors looks very promising, at least for the owner. Three wheels has many advantages over four. It features cost savings, less energy to propel, plus a favourable vehicle category for tax and insurance purposes. But I would not discard a half-used combustion-engine car just to get a Sondors, since that would not be an eco friendly action. We should use up what we have, since any car whatsoever will cause more pollution during manufacture than on the road, and the electricity for EVs typically has to be made in a polluting fashion anyway. I would agree that the main advantage of electric propulsion is still with tiny commuter vehicles which (in addition to no emissions) may reduce traffic congestion, and will not require too much of the rare metals that large EVs do require.
Good grief!! Do they really expect anyone to like these butt-ugly piles of crap? I have a few vintage classic cars that are BEAUTIFUL, cheaper and very dependable.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It sounds like you're really passionate about your vintage classic cars, and I can understand why you'd feel that way. Beauty and appeal are definitely subjective, and everyone has their own tastes. Enjoy your beautiful, dependable classics, and thanks for joining the conversation!
The Arcimoto FUV is in production in the USA. I have have had mine for a year. You can order them now. They are ramping up production and are available in about ten states.
Nimbus has a small rear seat for kids or small adults. You slide the front seat forwards to get in and the passenger's feet are placed on both sides of the front seat. It is tight but you can't say there is just one seat. It has a rear luggage rack too.

I'd rather have the ready-for sale units all in one video, and the not-ready-for-prime-time units in another. Good review.

9:35 Look at this person try to zoom in on paper after doing it on a tablet 🤣
Don’t do drugs
Please do a video on models that are available to buy, not just invest in hopes of getting one

@mv4463 that's why I'm converting my dodge Ram into a hybrid of my own design

I think the Aptera car is the most promising electric vehicle on this list since it also provides solar charging as an option.
Awesome.
Good 💯
😂❤Import thailand now 😮
Daymak, 2 years later, still not in mass production.

I think reversed trike is more stable than front tyre trike, is this right?
That actually depends on mass distribution.
25k for the aptera one is a steal tbh
I’m, if you live in an apartment where do you charge your vehicle?
Your Aptera info is incorrect in regards to its acceleration.
3.5 or 5.5 seconds 0-60 mph, depending on configuration.
@@carlanderson4139 yes I know. The video said it was 9 seconds which is grossly incorrect. Also “200 mpg” in the video is also incorrect. I was just pointing the fault out with the video creator.
NIMBUS, also not in mass production yet.

Hey can you review the massimo e spyder i wanna buy it but noones talking about it
In my opinion designers should add 4tg wheel for these design
Andai ditambahkan dengan menjelaskan harganya
Stats are crazy off for Aptera.
Every jurisdiction of which country or countries?
I like the Aptera solar tech but the design bores me.
Tetap lh enk ni.pling yg enk ad yg mcm eletrick tp pakai bensin.da kn tp gk tau kuat naik gunung gk nya.
Oh my gosh, Achrimoto has been milking the “start-up nonsense for years and years and still hasn’t reached production levels. Seems quite sketchy.
May someone do youtube videos of the top 10 electric trikes not to get or buy ?
Pretty sure your wrong about the Nimbus seating TWO, just don't see it happening.
there is a test drive of the prototype where they have a guy get in the back. It looks very tight and it is but you don't squeeze your legs behind the seat, you put them around the front seat which they did on camera.
Seems the Nimbus has transformed from the Halo to the One. Maybe the rear space got smaller.
first two are not even in mass production.
0:46 good thing that SINGLE speed transmission is automatic; it’d be a lot of work with a manual!
I can make this type of car only in 2000 US dollars, same to same with all facilities

Electric, no thnx, I’m pretty satisfyed with my Can-Am three wheeler.

Got to start reading titles more on these videos. 😂🤣😂 Just saw trikes and I was onboard saw the first one I’m out bye.
The 8th & 7th ones are a Sparrow. Another failed concept just like the Aptera.
Paling gampang produk india gk tau naik mobil susah.klo india punya gk yaitu bajaj qute.enak kn bgi sush bljar mobil.

Tuk-tuk is still better
The Sondors is pointless. If you're going o have a car that large, you might as well buy a normal car.
Size isn't the only reason to buy an EV.

Carver is for UK and EU only. HARD PASS
Why do you have to talk so much?
Prince Harry on mushrooms
Why are you annoyed
Sondors is not a viable car. Dream on
And SONDORS, still not in mass production.
What a waste of a video and my time.

Solo is dead already.
None of these are real trikes
The Arcimoto FUV is in production in the USA. I have have had mine for a year. You can order them now. They are ramping up production and are available in about ten states.
I've had my Arcimoto as my only vehicle for a year now. Great design. Very safe and very fun.
Note how the channel owner 'hearted' a false comment. This exposes click bait amateurs.
The nimbus is a one seater....not for two
Nimbus has a small rear seat for kids or small adults. You slide the front seat forwards to get in and the passenger's feet are placed on both sides of the front seat. It is tight but you can't say there is just one seat. It has a rear luggage rack too.
