I think this should be elevated to be a worldwide tradition like New Year's universal celebration !! To forget about all our petty differences, everyone in every nations can throw water into a bucket, turn on a garden faucet, tank up a water gun, stand in front of their houses AND JUST HAVE FUN with people all around you. It hardly costs anything. No presents to buy someone for. No places to travel to. No candies to give away. No food to cook & wait table for someone. No Gods to pray to. No flags to solute. Just Peace & Good will toward your fellow man (with a twist of getting wet). Now why is that so appealing !!
I heard that Songkran was also celebrated in other countries as well apart from Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar but It'd be fun to have splash worldwide 😀😀
You're the first foreigners who pronounced the Thai capital correctly. You pronounced BarngGauk, and it's correct. Not Bangkok. BangGauk is correct to pronounce for Thai capital. Even Thai people are still pronounced Thai capital wrong. BarngGauk is corect to pronounce.
