      Will this fit a 22inch Char-Broil Kettleman? I know the normal SnS won't because it isnt as deep as a normal Weber Kettle. More like a Jumbo Joe model

    Nice, I use 1 of the Weber charcoal baskets in my Jumbo Joe for a similar setup.

    Aww the jumbo joe! That’s what lead me to your channel years ago when I was looking for jumbo joe videos. You’ve lost so much weight since then! Keep it up TTM!

      TosTinMan EasyCooking wow, I'm not sure why my phone only posted half of my comment. Sorry, but I originally typed that I really wanted to see a longer cook using the jumbo and SnS and a big cut of meat. To see how everything fit in such a small space and also to see just how the meat turned out. I appreciate you taking the time and making this video for us. I genuinely hope your doing good buddy. Sorry my original message got butchered.

      Thanks! I'm doing some baby back ribs on it in my next video so we'll see how it does on a longer cook.

    Well another good job. Your wireless proves you need a SMOKE probe. I use SMOKE on my 18,22,and and 22. Keep up the good work.
    Say have you tried smoked fried applesauce with a bit of pecan wood. Oh man it is good.

    I have the TP-08S just using it for first time tonight. Do you think it's a faulty probe? (covered by warranty)

    • @TosTinManEasyCooking
      @TosTinManEasyCooking  6 років тому +1

      It might be. It's definitely not very accurate.

    • @nigel8499
      @nigel8499 6 років тому

      TosTinMan EasyCooking was it accurate before the Tri Tip cook? Mine seems very responsive, I haven't held the probe over boiling kettle though. Cheers

    • @TosTinManEasyCooking
      @TosTinManEasyCooking  6 років тому +1

      I don't know if it's ever been very accurate. I trust my thermapen a lot more.

      TosTinMan EasyCooking Perhaps hold the probe (s) over the steam of a boiling kettle for 100 °C (212 °F) standard pressure. If inaccurate contact manufacturers?

    Do the jumbo Joe's now come with heat reflector for the handles? I noticed some have it ...and others do not

    I prefer med/rare and pulling at 123 would have been perfect for searing,but yours looks delish.👍

    Great Job look like it was done to perfection, review of sns was interesting as to fact you can almost sns in any weber product.

    It would be less chewy if you made it a little rarer. Cook it blood rare, then sear it at the end.

    Whole world's got us out here buying temperature probes. It's kinda silly.
