Glad you found it! 👏🏻 Hopefully you found it helpful.
Finally a video how to equalise easily to learn
Thanks for watching!
Tnx man!
Ty for the vid! I’m gonna try this
Thanks for watching! Let us know how it goes. 👍
Thank you thank you. I went to Cozumel & wanted to take a cool pic under the water & I couldn’t do it because it was so painful. Now I will be going back in November & will do this, hopefully this helps. Thanks man!
Thanks, great video! 😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank u so much
Bro that felt weird 😂
I did this to hard one time and ripped my eardrum. Just be careful not to blow out to hard and you should be ok
Yea happend me to once hurts alot
How hard do you have to do it
Can you please explain it more I can’t get my ears to equalize and I’m a brand new diver
Do you have any tips for people who have small noses/can’t equalise properly
There's always a pop during equalization?
Thanks so much i went in the pool for the first time today and I can finally swim well enough to go in the deep end and I wanted to touch the bottom but I got down pretty close but then all of a sudden my ears hurt like crazy so I had to swim to the top really fast
Im going in again tomorrow so I’ll do a follow up
Let us know how it went! 😁
I couldn’t really pinch my nose cus my mask but I’ll try harder next time
Also do I do it before I go down or Wile I’m underwater
@@mollietodd-harding9988 It may take some practicing to be able to pinch your nose while you dive down and also some practice with equalizing your ears. It wouldn't hurt to do a quick equalization at the surface but you mostly are equalizing as you dive down. Since you are diving in a pool, I would equalize every couple seconds as you dive down. If you are diving down and your ears start to hurt, don't keep going. Come back up a little and try to equalize again and if successful, then continue going deeper. I hope that all makes sense and answers your question.
@@krakenaquatics I thanks so much I actually did manage to figure it out than you so much
I think i have a eustachian dystfunction. I cant go down below 1-2 ft before the pressure builds up.
Bro this don't work for me it just hurts 💀
youre doing it wrong then, keep practicing
I’m scared I used to go on air plane and they would tell me to to that if my ears starts hurting but want if I blow to hard and damage my ears?
Turns out I just wasn't exhaling nearly hard enough. I thought it would hurt if I did it super hard, but nope. No pain whatsoever.
@krakenaquatics this is not okay for free divers. They need to use frenzel.
thanks for this video☺️ hmm how many times do i equalize?
Thanks for your question Adrian! If you are on a dive, you should be equalizing every 2 or 3 seconds during your descent. The deeper you are, the less often you will need to equalize but it's still a good idea to equalize every 2 or 3 seconds. Better to error on the safe side. Once you reach your max depth, equalize again. If you are descending and you feel pain in your ears or are not able to equalize, stop descending and ascend very slowly until the pain goes away and (or) you are able to equalize again and then continue your descent. I hope this helps and answers your question. 👍
Do you do this under water or before you go in?
You usually need to do both out and in the water. But this does not always help and the pressure and pain in the ears is still present when you dive. Sometimes you need to help by poking your finger gently to remove any airpocket still present that keeps the ears under pressure.
I tried it and i just instantly felt pain because of it. Why? The pain lasted like 15 min or something
Too strong maybe
another tip , make saliva , and swallow in
The air comes out in my eyes though
💀
thanks smh
is it supposed to hurt?
Whether scuba diving or freediving, you need to equalize to release the pressure. It should not hurt to equalize. You should be equalizing every couple feet on a slow descent or if descending fast, you should be constantly equalizing. If you aren't equalizing during a descent, you certainly will experience pain and discomfort and could lead to ear damage.
Thank you for the info. I guess this is one of the reasons why you shouldn’t dive while wearing a full-face mask.
You’re absolutely right! 👍🏻

Where do you exhale out through your ears?
Yes until u feel ur ears are blocked
just breath out normally but with your nose plugged and ur ear should pop or feel weird when u equalized
