I don’t normally make more than one comment on videos, but I thought I’d make this difficulty list for all of these Docks Craneboat: Impossible Reason: The speed required to pass this is not possible to get in such a short period, even with the Firestorm Cruise Ship: Impossible Reason: Beating the boat through the entire warehouse _looks_ easy, but it goes faster than you think Bridge Collapse: Technically Impossible Reason: While you can get in there really early and slightly clip, you don’t actually beat the route change. Engine Drop: Medium Reason: You have to be decently precise so that you don’t crash into the sides of the ship or the propeller Forced Launch: Easy Reason: Due to the long amount of time it takes for the crane to fall, keeping up with the ship and going through the crane while you have a chance is easy Cargo Cranes: Impossible Reason: You’d think this would be simple, but multiple factors are in play that prevent this from being doable. The beam farther on the track falls first, so even if you beat the first one you’d still wreck anyway Fun fact: Did you know that this area has the highest amount of route changers? Six in total! City Convention Center: Impossible Reason: The tower falls a lot faster than the normal distance makes it seem, and it clearly falls faster than your car Train Derailment: Very Hard Reason: The amount of speed and precision required to beat this is borderline unachievable, requiring perfect gameplay to just barely make it Fun fact: The train used here is reused as an asset in several other locations. Airport Terminal Roadfall: Impossible Reason: The road falls too quick to allow your car to pass. Nothing more to it. Control Tower: Easy Reason: This is the same situation as Forced Launch, the thing that actually blocks the track falls down so slow that it doesn’t take much to pass it Roadcurve: Technically Impossible Reason: See Bridge Collapse Fun fact: This is the only track with a route change that can be triggered from the route of another. If you have the power for it, the Control Tower can be activated from Roadcurve’s route. Canyon Dam: Impossible Reason: It should be clear that this is unfeasible on many levels Fun fact: The first level 2 in Airplane Graveyard can be triggered if you have some REALLY good control. Even better, the first shortcut. Industrial: N/A Fun fact: If it wasn’t clear enough, this is the only district that lacks any route changers. Quarry Sawblade Swipe: Hard Reason: This requires you to slow down a bit, surprisingly enough. It isn’t shown here, but I experimented and got this clip ua-cam.com/video/R237DfwPdDI/v-deo.html Sawblade Explosion: Impossible Reason: A similar case to Convention Center, it falls too fast for your car to reasonably be able to get through. Though I’m still testing this one, I don’t think it can be done Fun fact: Quarry’s route changers are the only ones that don’t have any replays.
Hm, the dam can be done in the detonator mode. I sometimes had to slow down not to outgo it. However, since the dam is being destroyed, it is not possible to go any further. You are stuck on a small piece of the road. With really good timing you can get inside the texture of the falling dam and get thrown really high after that. It happened to me once, I managed to fly over the whole dam and fall in the mountains around it. Sadly they are not solid so I just fell through them and died, but it was fun.
@@tohasway5188 I used the GT12 in Canyon Detonator , it's really easy to get past the falling upper level of the dam. At the end of the dam there is a wall but if you slow down a bit and drive to the left near the security tower you can actually squeeze through the crushed wall.
Every time I see a tower fall in a video game, I just think of that moment in Half-Life 2 during the helicopter chase in the canals. A headcrab pod hits the side of a smoke stack and causes it to fall into your path. Alternatively, thinking of Twisted Metal 2's (and Head-On's) Eifel Tower where you can cause it to fall over onto the rooftops of Paris.
0:14 you can actually make that one… sort of. if you go a tiny bit slower than the speed you were going the ramp will launch your car really high up, which makes it skip over the invisible wall. it happened to me once.
Am back now so i tried the short cut on the dry docks psp version when the boat starts moving into the water and i found out trying to go through the right before the crane falls is impossible there is an invisible barrier blocking all that up Edit: ok so there IS a barrier but IF you can be at a SPECIFIC distance from the boat and then COMPLETELY accelerate at one point the barrier will not be there i just did this
You can basically escape all of them but not from the beginning when your on the road when it starts like some of them ive done when things are falling and catching up to me just get a friend to activate them once you enter or are super close

@@Rukifellth2792 no I meant that on the standard 2 lap downtown central track the route changer disappears right on the line but on the elite race with 3 laps the route changer is available for longer, giving you more time before activating it.
