People of the world, please include in your prayers those who have been greatly affected by the typhoon and extreme flooding here in the Philippines. May God bless us all. 💙🙏🏻❤
God bless all those who are unable to attend services. Oct 5th I cane to the hospital with an infection of my leg. It happens often so I didn't worry too much. I am still here fighting to keep my leg from amputation. The hospital is a small one but effective. Yesterday, they diagnosed me with CIVIC. I don't know how much more I can take. I am asking for prayers to get over all of this... please hear my prayers. Thanks be to God.
Peace & Blessings to you all especially to my dearest birthday sister in California. She's the faithful one with "5 talents" bringing me here online from Canada.
Thank you , Fr. Matt. The world needs you, as your are speading the the Lord's Good Word. Keep strong. Galatians 6.9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
An open-ended question doesn’t elicit a yes or no response; an open-ended question evokes an open-ended response. This makes a coaching relationship more like a conversation. It’s a great way to cultivate heart-level conversation in coaching, small groups, or even one-on-one discussions. Asking open-ended questions unlocks change in a relational way. Since that time, I’ve seen the value of asking open-ended questions not only of people but also of God. While the reason is different, the power is the same. Since I was trained as a church leadership coach, I’ve often wondered about, experimented with, and found great value in asking God open-ended questions. If it’s a great way to develop conversation and relationship with people, then why isn’t it common between people and God? Perhaps many people would say that they don’t ask God open-ended questions because they haven’t seen anyone else do this. It’s a foreign concept. That is, they haven’t been disciplined in it, so it feels somewhat inappropriate.
I am really struggling right now mentally as I’m learning how to navigate this residency program. I feel hopeless and unworthy. Lord, please give me strength and peace.
Thank you Father for your inspirational words in the homily-very precise and to the point! God Bless you and keep you safe during these unpresidential times!
What are you afraid of ??? You do not need to sacrifice your soul for your mother! Ask God for help, offer the mass , prayer for her . Please go and talk to priest . I will pray for you . Be brave and do not despair .
I do wish the current translators of the Bible hadn't changed "gnashing" to "grinding". Not only is "wailing and gnashing of teeth" more likely to be quoted in novels, but it sounds rougher, more emphatic.
In nomine patris nostri Dominus, et Filius est. sanctifica per nomen tuum. Sit Dominus hesr de me confitentem, et, 'dominus noster, a me petere figensivce mea et mater est mortalis receptus est in vobis, primitias earum. Deum precor ut tibi domino meo.
