The widebody V6MR2

Just some quick clips of us playing around with the first V6 build I did Stats 3.4L V6 Turbo Mr2 97 4Runner engine Toyota 4Runner ECU modded CT26 with Surpa turbine housing. E153 transmission. Yes Chad does not know how to film.

There is a fitting on the block next to the oil cooler. It has an English thread so beware when tapping into it.

Benji still has this car out in Memphis. He races it often against vets, wrxs etc at autocrosses. He does quite well from what he tells me. Still running the same clutch I was when I put that car together years ago! :o

Indeed, Benji does live in Memphis and has the car now. The ECU is for a supercharged engine (not turbo) and has never been tuned. I am surprised it still runs with no tune. I never intended the ECU to be used for more than a few weeks until the EMS was installed. A shocking testament to Toyota Z series engines.

watch your other videos.... and it wastegating sounds mean, wish there was one of this beast running full PSI while wastegating instead of the 7 pounds... it sounds diabolical... bet itd be a handful sometimes eh
