I have the same glider, and it is a must-have in every hangar... I love mine... Flies great, and catch thermals with ease... I modified mine a little bit but not mechanically, but some add-ons... I removed the wingtip plastic underneath plastic protector and replaced them with the Fox 3000 wingtip small wheels to add extra protection to the wingtips at landing. I also added a piece of door rubber bumper under the fuselage just in front of the ESC plastic air intake to protect it from breaking at landing. This glider tends to dive its nose down after landing and the plastic air intake gets caught with ground and breaks easily. I just cut one of those rubber door bumpers and mold it to the shape of the fuselage and glued it. The plane flies like a dream... John with the motor being a traditional type from say a warbird. This glider is ready for a motor upgrade. Im using the same one from the fms Voodoo. 900kv on 5s. The bullets are 4mm so its all fine 👍🏾
Thats a lovely looking model bud but huge 😂😂😂looking forward to flight vid ❤❤❤. In other news do you know if it is possible to set up a dx6 to have the throttle in the middle to set up a 3d heli so below middle is reverse throttle and above it is normal throttle? Not sure if it poss lol i have a 3d 4d plane with the tmotor 4d esc and want to see how quickly i can break it😂😂😂😂😂👍🏼
For a foam plane, the wingspan is huge, I have had planes twice this size.. Setup your model as a heli, or do a throttle curve set to a switch, just like a heli
@@JohnVHRC I have a little mess with it but can't seem to suss it lol I will keep trying thx bud. I wish I had space for bigger models but they are such a pita to store if you don't have room. 1200mm maybe 1300 is max for me even that is big 🤣🤣🤣👊🏼
@@propgear123This ones not bad since the wings come off, and I did manage to fit it into the foam part to transport. But I hear you, transporting is fun!
This is a sweet glider, I put a telemetry rx in mine for altitude and pack voltage feedback, with the right conditions you can milk 20-30mon flight times, one word of advice, don’t use anything metal like a small screw driver to tighten the wing spars, it creates a burr and makes it a real B$&@h to take the wings off
Hi ! my friend ! can you check out something for me ! it's about the ESC and MOTOR ! there is tree wires, yellow , black , and red normally the the connection is black to black yellow to yellow red to red ! but when I receive my glider they put yellow to yellow , black to red an red to black ! I wonder if this is intentional or if they made a mistake! I don't want to put my battery on , until I really know if it's a mistake or not ! thank you !👍
damn bro this stuff all so difficuilt Im afraid if i buy everything i need im getting stuck at some point... is there any way i could buy like a ready to fly one from you? or somewhere else maybe? I have the time to build it n wait but the entire cabeling and connecting stuff like that is kinda extreme to me- only flown those 20 bucks foam planes 💀💀@@JohnVHRC
fuck yeah man its killing me that im flying with these 3$ planes i mean its expensive i might crash but ill do it anyways, i mean i guess i got 'some' experience? Im not that big of a beginner but never gotten my hands on big planes you know.. I just want something big loud fun and SOMETHING THAT I CAN control in the air unlike the 3$ foam planes that have two propellers and no flaps at all @@JohnVHRC

Great idea! I just tighten the spars by hand, no need to make them too tight I figure.

Hi, brushless doing go by colors, hook the wires up any color to any color, if it rotates the wrong way swap two around. You can not short one out.
@@JohnVHRC thank you ! I really apreciate that ! 💙✈️👍
Can i use any radio? such as the Radiolink T8FB 8 Channels 2.4GHz RC Remote Transmitter and R8EF Receiver APP Parameter Setup Dual Stick Controller?
Yes, if you get a compatible receiver.

I wish someone would someone would offer a ARF DLG glider.
YES!! That would be awesome!
HH did offer the UMX one, whipit, I have one, but a bigger one would be amazing.
