Thanks for the video. Getting back into RC after many years bought the pocket. I was interested in the vario and wondering how it worked .spot on review
The small transmitter is good for kids but too small for my hands. Though I did learn in the 70's on an old Fleet transmitter that needed a crow bar to move the sticks and weighed a ton.
I hope RadioMaster are watching, and send you guys the new radios and products when they come out! 95% of the reviews on youtube showing this new radio is all done on the bench, i feel you did a nice little review of both the radio and the model. ELRS and Radiomaster, is a winning combination at the moment, affordable, reliable, and getting much easier to use. I hope to see you do some more video on these types of radios and ELRS to show others who may not know much about them realise the power of them and the ease of use. Nice work guys !
Appreciate that feedback. Exactly the way I think. I don't see the point of bench reviews. Potential customers want to see it in action with different RC aircraft. I really hope it helps folks understand how they are being ripped off with some of the premium brands that are actually worse in terms of build quality. Thanks again!
Alt+ is you max altitude reached in that flight. You can set up a switch to reset both this and your ground level. Well im talking from using the FrSky G series receivers and verio
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I also bought a Radio Pocket radio for my FPV endeavors. How/What's needed to fly fixed wing? The post mentions 'ELRS EG8GV receiver'. Is that right? Can you advise please?
Hello Dom. I hope you are doing well. Always a pleasure for me to see "mky glider" ASW-17 in your videos. I understand the sense of this low cost radio proposal but it is better for a glider to get advanced settings. Tell me Dom it seems you landed ASW-17 with back wind ? 😂 Not recommanded; even if the big bird flyes very well. JPhilippe - France
Sorry, disagree. It flies well enough with this low cost radio. That's my point. EdgeTX can do everything premium radios can do. And regarding the wind, it was swinging around during the flight. If it had been a rough or bad landing then you might have a point. That video was highlights of 3 separate flights in same conditions. Thanks for your concern.

You only need that receiver if you are going to fly a glider. Otherwise just go for the ER8
