This vid helped a lot since i’ve never worked on brembos until my range rover. a tip id give to others that are new to this: when using your prying tool be careful where your tool is digging into, dont dig into your rotor and cause damage. itll need fixing if so! other than that great vid, just make sure to look if the spring is still in the sensor when your pry it out (its on one wheel only, not both wheels).

There is a reason why there is a difference between a mechanic and a factory authorized trained master technician. With the trained master technician, 1....he wouldn't be using a pry-bar to push the caliper piston back in while marring up the the disc rotor at the same time creating scratches and marks on the rotor which will eat up the pads as well as possibly cause the braking to be uneven causing excessive wear as well as jeopardize the safety of the people in the vehicle if they has to stop on an icy or slick road. 2...you didn't even replace the rotor or even resurface them, which will eventually lead to brake pulsation and also further jeopardizes the safety of the passengers. 3...the way you are pushing the caliper pistons back in will create unwanted stress on the pistons to be forced to retract with more pressure on one side of the piston as well as the added angled force will deteriorate the caliper seal and start leaking fluid, and again, jeopardizes the safety of the passengers. You also have to dress the pads and start the initial wear procedure to properly break in the pads. 4...you need a specific punch driver to pop out the pins without damaging the threads or flattening the pin heads. If you followed his instructions, your vehicles new pads that you just put on will create a lot of brake dust, cause your brakes to pulsate, prevents proper brake contact, squeak as well as the pads wont last 10l miles and lastly, jeopardizes the livelihood of the passengers. Never trust your brakes to just anyone as, what they are working on plays a major role in the livelihood of your family and friends. Now i have realized how easily so many people have said their brakes didn't work when they were involved in a car accident. They may of been actually telling the truth.

No brake test? You gotta get the car up to full speed and slam on the brakes. If it stops you successfully changed the brakes. If not, you should of took it to a professional.
