Hey! i just wanna say thanks on the info that this kinda battery needs more time to charge. I thought it was not working at first, then I used the original charger and waited longer, and yay! the screen started showing green battery icon (charging). Tq for giving me hopes!;)
i'm finding too many videos showing to do the same thing. what it comes down to is that Samsung is selling faulty products. yes cleaning the port helps for a time, and then it will start all over. now you'll end up with a 1400.00 paper weight.
My tab S6 lite hadn't been charged for few months and now it won't charge at all. Apparently you have to disconnect the LCD flex ribbon from the battery, and then charge for 10 minutes, disconnect the charger and reconnect the flex cable and it should work. This tab is still technically brand new barely even used for anything tbh it's really shocking that Samsung have not addressed this issue as it's been ongoing for many years.
hi. I ran into the same problem as you. Do you know how to disconnect the lcd flex ribbon? Do we need to open the tab from the inside?

Did you ever get yours back on, mine is doing the same thing but won't actually charge, I had it plugged in all day and nothing, I'm able to get it on for a second of I hold down the power and volume down button but it shows 0% charge and then turns off again
@@jasminethompson8808 i had to leave mine plugged in for a while to get it to work, i think the battery is so big you have to let it charge for awhile if it starts really dead hope that helps!
@@whiteflash4444 what is a while though because I have the same problem and this is the second time it happened. first time I left it for hours and nothing. Only thing that worked was being able to turn off the tablet normally before it dies, turn it on again and plug it in before it dies. if it dies before you plug it iin, it won't charge.
I let it sit for an hour or so charging and it came back to life, if you let it sit for a day and it doesnt come back to life it might have other issues@@LiMaking
I had a scare. But after leaving it untouched while charging, for a few more minutes. You can gradually see the charging % sign reappear again. In normal circumstance, it simply need a longer break.
Did not help. Mine is 1 month old. Gonna take it back for another one

I was really waiting for an actual fix, not just being told make sure the cable works 😂
I found it helpful to replace the provided charger for an improved charger and directly plugging into an outlet. Both plugging into a power strip and using the provided samsung charger were the issue for me.
My tab s8+ charges and then discharging when charging from 33% to 30% when charging and already send it 3 times to samsung and 1 month later it does it again
Bla bla bla just use normal fast charging because s8 ultra has issues with super fast charging 2.0 and super fast charging. Sometimes it won't charge it charges 0 watt when on these 2 options!
