Hi Green Shoots Nursery, I also in zone 10a So Cal. Does your nursery sell cutting of this fig? Or where did you buy this fig ? I am looking for it, thanks so much
Hi Luan. We are in the middle of rooting hundreds of cuttings and should begin selling small trees at the beginning of March. All of our trees will be sold on Figbid and we’ll be releasing new videos detailing when we plan to list our trees for sale. We have a ton of Exquisitos that are currently rooting. Stay tuned.
I hope it roots, as well! It’s a fantastic variety that I’m sure you’ll enjoy. We do not amend our soil with anything. We’re fortunate to be growing our trees in nutrient rich soil that has really good drainage.
@@greenshootsnursery3213 I have super dense thick clay soil that does not drain well. I'm making raised beds for each fig and planting them there so hopefully it will help. Excited to see how exquisito turns out! Will be trying to get a hold of thermalito and DSJG this winter also.
ALBONGardens do you plan to amend your soil with anything? Although not ideal, I’ve heard from others that they’ve had success growing figs in clay based soil.
Happy to see your CC having lot of 5 lobes leafs, same as mine... not same type as BM for the leafs...
I would like to ask you, how old is your fig tree and how old must this Exquisito tree be before its fruit reaches the highest quality?
Tks!

Good 👍
If you had to choose one.. Exquisito or Thermalito?
I just picked up a cutting. Hopefully it roots and does well here in Dallas. Do you amend your soil with anything?
