Josh, your cinematography is beautiful. From the drone shots to the pass-by shots, this is absolutely beautiful. Your filmmaking skills are wonderful. The narration is also beautiful. Thank you for shedding some light on this awesome state I live in and I appreciate you visiting. You're always welcome here.

If you have an air compressor, air down next time the road is washboarded. At around 15 psi the tires eat up the shock of the "bumps". But it's not likely that a rental car will have onboard air :o)
Idaho is gorgeous. I really need to get back there one day. The hot springs and the off grid cabin were awesome. Good on you for maintaining the owners privacy. There are so many people that don't think a C172 is a 1000 mile traveling aircraft. I always refer them to your channel. It's very inspiring...

I spent two weeks in Boise working on millwork for a local new hotel being built. On weekends we had a chance to venture into the wild country north from Boise and your video reminded me of how beautiful the area is around there. Of course I prefer not to be there in winter time. I love my Houston weather and here we are a couple days before Thanksgiving and it 79 degrees. Thanks Josh for another amazing adventure.

    Josh,
    'Carpe Diem" Seize the moment.
Your daily path through life no matter the means ,is what counts... Years from now you will look back on things that seem somewhat trivial but will take on great significance
in your later years. My journeys at 77 are shorter , but I still get up each day ready for the next adventure and it's a pleasure to travel with you on yours.
You have many years ahead of you which, I am sure, will be full of great adventures.
    Cheers,
    Rik Spector

I love having a slower aircraft, it gives me time to take in the scenery and just appreciate its beauty! =)
The important thing for me isn't so much the destination as the journey to said destination, and what you experience on the way there!
I think it's awesome when people realize that it is what we do right now that matters, and it doesn't matter if you're doing it in a Piper Cub or a Learjet or space shuttle for that matter as long as you enjoy doing it! =D
Thanks for an awesome video sir, it's always inspiring and educational watching your content! =D

Only been to Idaho once - left Illinois Friday at 9am - drove till we made western Idaho Saturday at 3 pm. Would have loved to fly instead. But helped drive home friends that needed a driver. She had to come back due to losing her dad. So I helped them out and flew home. Flew back home via Spokane / Seattle / Madison. Flew the red eye flight out of Seattle to Madison, Wi. Could be my last flight every - so enjoy your videos. Take care and have a Merry Christmas. Spin

At this point, owning a 152 is a pretty aspirational goal. I've got 3 cars and 5 motorcycles but even a little 152 is worth as much as all of them combined, and doubled. Some day though. If I can't take a trip like this by plane, then I'll just have to take triple as much time off work and do it by car. Somehow it's got to happen.

Josh, phenomenal videography as usual! Idaho has some of the most breathtaking scenery you can find out west.
Just so you know, out west we call those bumps in the road washboards. Also, those weren’t exactly 4x4 required dirt roads but great video and narrative regardless. If you want to get on some true four- wheel drive roads/trails, come on back down to Southern Utah and the Kanab area. We can take you places that you really do need to lock in your four wheel drive and differential just to get anywhere! Keep up the awesome videos!

I will answer to your question at the end of your video, and sorry if english is not academic, i’m a french baguette guy so i’m doing the best i can :
I love flying, even if i cant do it frequently because of the cost of flight hours in « aéroclubs », but i love aviation since my early childhood
I’m still a student, in music, and i hope one day to have a job and buy a small and humble airplane, like a Skyranger, a Savannah or a Kitfox, to enjoy the sensations of flight, to do big trips across France, where i live near Paris, and then Europe. I wish one day i can explore small aerodromes, air fields and air trips in the Alps, Pyrénnées and Cévennes, where landscapes are pretty similar to Idaho. Dear Aviation101, thank you for all your very inspiring videos, you definitly make me love more and more aviation, and i hope you will come here in France to fly above our country, so much things to discover there, even if it’s only the same size than Texas, in the same time i wish one day i can fly in Utah or Idaho skys.
    Cheers
