Sleep mode is only unaffected for that turn, you can still apply multiturn effects to it and rage mode with have those debuffs. So it's still nowhere near as strong as yugioh immunities.
am i missing something or did the belphemon player have lethal at 4:24 if he attacked with both gizmon then belphemon using its effect to delete a gizmon and unsuspend itself to attack again?
Astamon full effect needs to be resolved, if he completed the effect, went to sleep mode then he can choose to activate Giza before activating sleep modes digivolve effect. Atleast I think that’s how it would work. Good job taking the win though, belphemon is a tough match
it's different, that's how timing works, if belphemon sleep digievolve, and has to place belphe rage on the top digisource, it has to do that, you can't just hold on the effect and do other things. Normally, he should've continued without placing, MR J got cheated on ngl
@@krexondoesn’t the digivolution of sleep mode and deletion effects from Giza happen simultaneously? I thought that when that happens the player chooses which effect goes first?
@@zerocloudgt Absolutely not, In the case of digievolving with Astamon's effect firstly you delete the digimon, you digievolve into belphemon sleep, and then you start with the gizmon effect. At the end of Gizmon's effect you can start with Belphemon Sleep's effect. In this case, you can't choose with wich effect starting as effects happens separately. The changes would be that if you choose to activate the Sleep mode effect first, and you don't have rage mode in the trash, you cannot finish his effect, and it would stay still, and gizmon would activate, but in the case you manage to put a rage mode in trash, you CANNOT put it in sleep digisource
@@zerocloudgt You are correct, the on deletion and digivolve happen at the same time. You can choose to resolve the deletion first before Belphemon sleep mode's digivolving effect.
Went looking through the judge discord for the DP ruling for Belphemom. He trashes at the end of turn, ruling is that the DP reduction and Protection end at the same time so he’ll be fine (minus effects like Ruin Mode that DP Reduce until end of opponents turn)
That sucks man. It also means Blue Flare has a great match up vs Belphemon since MetalGrey/DeckerGrey/Mailbird all last until "end of opponent's turn."
Dragoon can’t be destroyed by card effects and it can’t be targeted for card effects. It can still be non-targeted by effects. Sleep mode has a blanket “not effected”. What made Dragoon oppressive (in the OCG) is its omninegate with an attack gain, and the monster destruction with burn damage. It was too easy to turbo out in the OCG which led to it getting banned. In the TCG, since card release is different, by the time Dragoon was released there were a lot of answers to it and it’s usage stayed relatively low which is why it’s never been touched on a ban list in the TCG. Dragoon having protection wouldn’t be enough, in Yugioh, to be an oppressive card. Most good boss monsters in Yugioh have some kind of protection. Sleep Mode seems like a completely different card in comparison and all it has is protection when put up against Dragoon.
I still think Dragoon was wildly popular once it hit the TCG. It even went up in price (to like $100) I believe before the Anaconda ban. And even though it couldn’t be targeted, non-targeting removal was hard to come by, idk about nowadays The offensive part comes in the form of Rage Mode, since it’ll clear most LV5s or lower. And if you have the tamer you can clear a LV6. In which case, I do think Belphemon has some comparisons to Dragoon, especially since in Digimon, there’s hardly any player interaction on the opponent’s turn
Astamon resolves deletion/digivolve eff, then both On Deletion and When Digivolve proc in the same window, he can resolve the Proto first, then newest eff is on play of AT so resolve that, then resolve When Digivolving of Sleep Mode
Itd be illegal if he evos into Asta, deletes the desired mon, but interrupts the eff to resolve the on deletion of the mon they used for the cost. They have to finish the Astamon eff before triggering another effect, so if they didn’t have the Belphe but had to search using the deleted mons effect, then theyre resolving incorrectly
finally someone call this out, watched a few belphe matches from other channels and its crazy how alot of ppl dont realize that astamon delete a digimon and free evolve to belphe is in the same “on play/digivolving” effect.. you dont do them seperately..
Yup.. have to be careful. Sure after fully resolving Astamon effect, he can then choose whether to activate an on deletion effect OR the when digivolving of Belphemon. But I have seen players interrupt Astamon mid-effect... like no lol
Aw man, on the third match you forgot to activate wargrowlmon effect after attacking with st7 gallantmon, you could've continued your turn, watch out the effects
I personally run the starter deck guilmon at 2. My line up for guilmons is 4 ex2, 3 ex4, 3 bt12, and 2 starter deck. And it feels good. I dont like the x antibody one as much as the other 4.
Bt13 has been treatin me real good with the god pulls. I pulled the chase blue background AA miragegao BM, AA omnimon, and AA rosemon BM from one box. And yes i am playing the miragegao BM i pulled 😂
I put in a starter Devi as an additional blocker. I have 4 ATs, 3 Eyesmon scatter, 1 Eyesmon, starter Devi and porcupamon in my lvl 4 slot because it’s a good toolbox.
I have been playing gallant with more purple. The blackgrowl is so good. Chip them for 2 checks then mill them to 20 then crimson mode for game is so satisfying. Too bad the deck is so fair. I just want to do despicable things to my friends and then win.
I have seen this come a lot more often now... crazy cause I only play Crimson as a 1 of. But some decks have no blockers so Crimson does come up like you said lol
I feel u on towers also you do go for the will for 2 reasons one u mill their pieces and 2 fill trash but you have to agroo it and minimize their memory also rush guilmon comes up a lot in the match up just keep watch of it memory
for the astamon, he can onplay digivolve into a belphemon in its name. let’s say he went into sleep mode then he can do proto on deletion effection.
Keep the videos up. This format for fights with commentary is great.
I noticed the format is pretty diverse in BT13. Thanks man!

What kind of camera do you use?
They are both Sony a6400 cameras :)
15:27 is literally me every day of my life lmao
Sometimes life be like that lmao but also reading purple Digimon cards nowadays is like that too XD
Why didn't the AT die when doing the security check vs wargrowlmon?
I think at that point it didn't matter, but yeah I saw that post commentary too lol
Bt13 has been treatin me real good with the god pulls. I pulled the chase blue background AA miragegao BM, AA omnimon, and AA rosemon BM from one box. And yes i am playing the miragegao BM i pulled 😂
Lucky one because there should only be one sec. And one AA per box
Nice pulls man! This set has been hyped for a long, long time. So hope you're enjoying it so far my guy
4:37 why didnt the Belphemon player just unsuspend for game?
he missed it... misplays happen though
On play has to resolve first, then gizmon would activate. So he cant discard rage mode for the astamon digivolve
Yeah that’s correct smh now I know for the future
Belpha big weakness is Raid, if they dont have a blocker
I put in a starter Devi as an additional blocker. I have 4 ATs, 3 Eyesmon scatter, 1 Eyesmon, starter Devi and porcupamon in my lvl 4 slot because it’s a good toolbox.
do you have a deck list?
For Gallant? Not yet, I'll have to redo it on Twitch since the last one's already phased out lol
Could we get the gallantmon profile
Realized it has changed a little bit from last time. Will have to do it on Twitch again lol
I have been playing gallant with more purple. The blackgrowl is so good. Chip them for 2 checks then mill them to 20 then crimson mode for game is so satisfying. Too bad the deck is so fair. I just want to do despicable things to my friends and then win.

Game two he could and should have brought out the blocker xt to stop the double raid
Yeah I think that's we he scooped it up, he noticed he messed up a little
any deck recipe?
For Gallant? I'll have to redo it on Twitch lol
Whys he using the tsnemon egg, you want to lower your hand not keep it up
Testing things out lol this was the 1st official week of BT13 release
@@MrJsStrategyPlays haha fair enough
I feel u on towers also you do go for the will for 2 reasons one u mill their pieces and 2 fill trash but you have to agroo it and minimize their memory also rush guilmon comes up a lot in the match up just keep watch of it memory
Towers are not good for the deck IMO. Yeah rush Guilmon is sooo good but like I said I miss starter deck Guilmon so will have to make space.
