Dude thank you so much for you videos. I love my 300c i'm going to rebuild using your guidance. I do have carbon build up in my throttle body from the egr valve. but I'm ready for the challenge. Again thanks.
I have a 2019 Chrysler 300 Touring and I am thinking about the mopar lowering springs. Just an inch around. What else other than the springs should I do. I know an alignment afterwards. I have factory black alloy 19” OEM rims.
With just a 1" drop you won't have to change shocks or anything, unless they are in bad shape anyway. I got away with just an alignment and had no issues. I really like the Mopar springs because the ride is identical to stock, but even though it doesn't sound like much the 1" drop is perfect. 👍
Car looks great. I am considering a similar drop on my 2018 C. This would be the first car that I have lowered. I did notice the back seemed a little higher than the front. Was that just me, or is there is a fix for that? I also have 20's as well. Did you have any issues with rubbing?
Yea the rear definitely was sitting higher than the front. Generally when you install lowering springs they will settle a little bit after driving for awhile. In this case, the rear did settle about another 1/2" which made it look more in line with the front. I couldn't have been happier with this mod, no rubbing at all and factory ride quality. 👍
Have a question. I put lowering springs on my charger. Should I go with small er shocks because when I had the car off the ground the spring would be higher than the center control arm where the spring goes.
Great video! About to do this on my son's new to him 2011 300C. We figure at 114k miles we should replace the struts and shocks as well. Are stock height units ok with these? Was looking at using bilstein b6 shocks/struts
Nice car, did you measure before and after. I like to do the same on my srt8 and i need to know if you have nivimate rear shocks if yes how low the rear drop. Thank you
I've been going threw an re watching some of your videos thinking about doing a 1 in drop on my mag. My question is since you already done it. How's the alignment afterwards. I know factory bars can only adjust so much. But I didn't notice you change anything over to adjustable. Just curious before I attempt it I don't want my wheels cambered in at all.

Your video has been immensely helpful! Installing lowering springs on my Chrysler 300, as well. However, as it is my first time using a spring compressor (exact same style as in this video), how do you know when it is safe to take off the nut on the top of the strut hat? I'm using a combo ratchet instead of an impact because I'm a little nervous. The bottom of the spring, where the spring sits in the rubber, is already loose and able to move around. There's not really much more that I can compress the spring, very little thread left. Please help. Thank you very much in advance.
@@ReignitedAuto Thank you so much! I was able to successfully remove the factory spring. Didn't have to use spring compressor for new spring since it was much shorter. So, that was a plus. But now, the issue I ran into when fastening all the nuts that hold the strut in place is control arm nut seems like it is spinning when I hit it with the impact, and the sway bar end link bolt isn't lined up just right. It's not quite level. Any suggestions on how to fix these issues? Thanks again!
@@dizzlecopter7264 you will need a large pry bar for both. First, apply pressure with the pry bar to keep the ball joint from spinning while you try to tighten it. The only question I have yes I can install the springs myself, but how exactly am I gonna get my wheel alignment back together without some proper tools and help. Wheel alignment is needed every time you mess with your suspension
Truthfully with only a 1" suspension drop, the alignment won't be that far off. It's definitely close enough to get you to a local shop for an alignment with no problems at all. If you want to try to do a home alignment, that's another video altogether. 👍

I recently purchased a 2019 300S and I am thinking about lowering about an inch like you did. Would I be better off using factory parts or can I get away with aftermarket? Also have you had any issues after lowering it such as tire wear? Do you need to cant the rear wheels? Any help would be appreciated?
I'd be surprised if you have to do anything to the suspension to fit 22" wheels. The 20" wheels still seem somewhat small in the wheelwells, If you ran a small enough tire sidewall I'd think they would bolt right on. But I've never tried it before.
I'm running 22s with 245/35/22 tires on front and 265/45/22 on rears they are stretched since my off set on rears are wider but they fit perfect no issues rubbing.
