One of the greatest Vignettes ever was when Dr. D DAVID SCHULTZ invited the camera crew to his house. That was the best👍👍👍

Isn’t it Ironic when the one guy with an attitude calls it the attitude era... When David wrestled guys like Harley, Slater, Bunkhouse Buck, Terry Funk, Paul Orndorf. The Moondogs,Randy Savage. Piper Hell, all those guys had attitude. That was the real attitude era.

I'm 40 and born and raised in Nashville Tennessee. I live on the West side in a place called Bellevue. And I'd love to meet Doctor D and can't wait till I get his book. God bless Doctor D and Stone Cold two true Southern Gentlemen.

Interesting that Stone Cold always talks about how he wanted to get into wrestling because of how big a fan he was, yet he pretends he didn’t know much about Dr. D.?
I always thought Stone Cold looked like Dr. D.
Imagine these two as a heel tag team in Memphis or the AWA in the mid 70’s. I’d name them The TNT Connection-Tennessee N Texas., and even though they wouldn’t need a manager, I’d pair them with George Crybaby Cannon or a Jimmy Hart

That being said, Gary Hart or The Grand Wizard, maybe JJ Dillion because there would be a lot of Texas/Tennessee going on. Definitely not a Capt Lou or Cornette or Freddy Blassie.

I was in MSG with my Dad as a Kid Dr D Schultz and Piper VS Andre and Jimmy Snuka main Event Andre liked Piper so much he let him hit him with Brass Knuckles blood 🩸 was every where they had to stretcher Andre out
After like 5 minutes of Jimmy Snuka getting beat up Andre comes down the Walk way to the Ring all banged up still bleeding and cleared House !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Memories when wrestling was Wrestling. In a Piper shoot he talks about that match Vince was against it but Andre Insisted.

This was not the first time that Stossel tried to destroy the business. Years earlier, in Portland, he did a full "expose" on the wrestling business, which aired on his local news program. Unbeknownst to the primary participants in his story, The Superfly Jimmy Snuka and Playboy Buddy Rose, Stossel put a negative spin on the sport. Instead of shining the business in a positive light, the man did everything he could to destroy it.
It's unfortunate that people like Stossel exist in the news business; they undoubtably play a big role in its decline.

Nah Dr D and stone cold are nothing alike Dr D was the original bad ass not only a great wrestling heel but also a great bounty hunter.. Back then you had to be some kind of a bad ass to be a wrestler because alot of them liked to bump for real. He liked to hit for real and liked to get hit none of todays guys could hold a candle to David Schultz.. Steve williams included
