Excellent stuff Regal is such an interesting knowledgeable guy and a great link between past and present global wrestling. I'm proud to have him as one of our countries greatest ambassadors and supporters of the sport.
I really enjoy listening to guys who love the craft and have listened to these guys before by themselves, but hearing both of them together is at another level and some good stories, to me it means I appreciate Thier matches and performances more.
I always loved watching Regal perform for sure. Because he did make you buy in and invest in watching the entertainment. Entertainment that is extremely physical. A lot more challenging than people who have never watched pro wrestling believe. Those men and women are good athletes and are really tough to do what they do.
@50:55 Can anyone tell me what Regal and Austin are referring to about the steamboat Macho man match ? Why aren't they as keen on it now ? Thanks in advance.
I think it was because all of it was planned out. Macho man was infamous for not wanting to just go out to the ring and just wrestle. He planned things meticulously.
Austin and Regal like it less after finding every single spot was planned as opposed to the traditional WWE method at the time of just calling most of a match in the ring aside from big spots and the finish
One of your best guests and one of the most underrated and under appreciated wrestlers of a generation

Regal was good at whatever he had to do in wrestling. Love that dudes work!
I once saw giant haystacks and his family get out of a morris minor and walk into our local club in Blackpool. ..Huge..lot of them
This was a fantastic interview.

Phenomenal interview. William Regal is a national treasure.
We all know Regals actual favourite match was Catweazle vs. Steve “The Gaylord” Peacock. CATWEAZLE FOR THE HALL OF FAME!
Why not? Vince's limo driver is in there
It was probably when he exposed Greenberg in dubya cee dubya
