Ive always found it weird when people talk crazy about people that use overkill, or “meta weapons”. Why wouldn’t you want to use the best build for your play style. I don’t generally use overkill but when I do it’s because I don’t like any of the secondary weapons, never have. So in a game about shooting, why not have 2 guns (Smg or AR).
I think its more about not playing for fun and use diferent wepons and experiment with them. They are just trying really hard and not trying to have fun. Punch for exemple always uses diferent guns and builds them to his style. How boring would be for us if he used always the same guns, it would probably be boring for him aswell.

i had a game today just like that, it was 5 to 2. then one of the guys at the bottom of my team dies screams into his mic then pulls his whole squad so it was 1 dude and i versus 6 people. we ALMOST got the w on the 11th round but i died to a double betty cuz i was rushing to the bomb. after killing 4 of the 6 and teammate killing 2
I quit playing MWIII bc in my opinion the game isn’t fun to me anymore so I’m just playing different games and waiting for BO6
