I went on a 15 game losing streak when the event started. From what I understand there are thousands of people coming back to this who have not played in a few months. So matchmaking is complete chaos. I had a "diamond" rein do 1,5k dmg in a full round of attack on Dorado. A support with less healing than JQ after Hollywood attack, etc.
If you've went on a 15 game losing streak you're shit. I complain about my dps 24/7 and max losing game has been MAYBE 5

Imagine solo queuing in diamond, you’re about to rank up, and the next game you’re in is a 5 stack of top 500 players 💀 I feel like this happens so often now that everyone’s ranks got reset, I shouldn’t be so hard on myself for deranking so much, especially since I’m started to rank back up slowly but surely. Even the pros have deranked a lot just to climb back. It’s just a bit disheartening to see that rank you worked so hard to get to go down the drain, and then you get in lobby’s that are unbearably unbalanced like these.
5 stacks are match made against 3 or more stacked teams unless it’s like 3 am and you’ve been in queue for like 20 minutes, they do try to make it fair. But to see them in diamond is super unlucky to be fair. I was a top 500 console player back when overwatch first launched like season 2 which is way different to today’s people… but matchmaking was fucking hell. As bad as it is now thank god they have come a long way, not being in the top rank and having a road hog hit 2 hooks the WHOLE game that shit is still in my head almost a decade later
Kenzo, I know how you got deranked to diamond. You meet a lot of strong enemy teams 5 seasons in a row or just you got rank after reset. The same thing happened to Arrge. My question is: „How many games have you won on your video?”. I am still supporting you on Twitch
Echo is my main (it used to be Hanzo/Cass), Sombra is my alt. I do the exact same Kenzo did when there's a Sombra in my lobby focusing me.
I swap and focus on her until she swaps, when then I go back to my main. If that doesn't happen, she simply won't be allowed to play because I'll be breathing down her neck all the time.

I don't know if you've ever told anyone but what are your pc specs and what kind of monitor do you have, my max fps is only able to reach 59/60 and when streaming it goes down to 40, I probably need to upgrade my entire rig too

I've only just gotten really good on widow and some how seem to land a 75% accuracy with her. Trust me when I say it take time to get as good as Kenzo
75% isn't bad, but we don't know what percentage are headshots, how long it takes you to press fire, or the movement of your enemies.

@@Hoodini2253Probably because you're used to it. Also being on controller also mitigates the lagginess that you'd feel using a mouse on lower fps

Im a diamond player consistently on 130 ping. Always felt i was better than diamond but dont think ill ever make it out without better internet
seen people with way higher ping get top500. youre not better than diamond, if you were you wouldnt be in diamond

@@t81773 incorrect get better instead of blaming your circumstance if you really want to climb you can Neuu is on perma 100+ ping and he still goes crazy in top 500, if you try you can adapt (only if its as you say consistent, bcuz if it changes a lot then its not much you can do but try VPN)

How is 500/300 fps even possible. Is it just low graphic settings? I play with everything pretty much maxed and still get 230 fps consistently for reference
Yes, I believe he plays on low settings, as it's recommended, mainly because you don't want to get distracted by all the shiny stuff and you want to keep the game as simple as possible.
We don't play on low settings just for high FPS, because you can only see as many frames per second as your monitor can refresh.
But still, FPS > monitor HZ = reduce input lag.
Everything on low except textures. I'm also gaming on 1440p + streaming + 1440p recording at the same time. Else I'd have constant 600 fps
You need a very good CPU like a 5700x3d or better and a decent GPU to do so.
@@alexmaldonado2804 Cpu is the most important part. I get close to no fps difference between a 4090 and 4070 with the same cpu, as long as I don't increase my resolution and graphic settings. It's just too cpu intensive if you wanna push high frame rates in low settings
i5-10400f, rx 6600xt, 1440p, 300fps+. Kinda low end pc but the game is very well optimised. Dont tell me guys you have fps issues. At 1080p OW can run smooth on calculator. Monitor refresh rate makes the difference.
you should buy the new 440 hz and cap your fps at your monitor hz way better
He has an OLED 240hz so that's pretty much equivalent in motion clarity as those 360/500hz monitors.

I hate when people complain about 70-90 fps like it’s detrimental, you don’t need 500 fps to be good, you’re spoiled if you think it’s a need.
You've clearly never experienced consistent very high fps on a high refresh rate monitor. Sure it isn't a need but to get a high rank on hitscan you basically need this high framerate for it to feel comfortable.

I mean tbf that is why most good players are good, they have better hardware. A lot of average plat and diamond players would actually by higher were it not for hardware limitations.

@Kyrones it's actually fairly true believe it or not because with better hardware comes more opportunities. Furthermore meaning if you're capped at 80 frames the game struggles with fast reacted inputs and by the time it registers you're probably already trying to do something else, thus overlapping the last registered input making you mess up and moreover dying. Taking into consideration overwatch, fortnite, apex, etc are fps based games needing to have a high fps rates, being capped at 80 frames really has its limitations for how fast you are able to input things and react to things. Concluding that 80 frames play a big role in hindering one's ability when they're used to play on a much higher fps which would be 500 frames which he showed in the video, due to his pc specs/hardware. So it's not necessarily coping it's more or so having a valid excuse for deranking ngl.
