What about a build challenge where you have a set amount of time (2-3mins) to "shop" for furniture/lights. Then, you have to build the shell and furnish the house with what you picked out, not being able to go back to purchase other items and needing to use everything you pulled out.
Further Info:
*During the shopping phase, you can select anything from the build/buy catalogue. If you want more than one of an item, you need to duplicate/pull out as many as you want. Swatches are finalized when the time runs out
*If you want a higher difficulty, windows/doors can also be selected during the shopping stage
*After the time is up, take as long as you want to build the shell, add wallpaper/flooring, and furnish it using ALL the items you picked out in the shopping stage
*Landscape is separately timed (1min), but you cannot arrange it until time is up.
Hopefully this all leads to an interesting build~
That'd be a fun way to revisit a timed challenge!

IDEA: Each room has a painting in it, and you have to base the room off of the painting, and the outside can be based off a painting too if you find a good one.

I'm literally using almost every of these items on daily basis! The counters, doors, windows, even the bed. And the plant on the table, the one with lemons/oranges inside? Well, every house has it :D It's funny how everyone builds differently.
I use coffee machine and dishwasher in every house, I use a wide variety of counters.
I think it's because i play family and dishwasher is faster.
It’s true. Also, I think it’s because she has a very specific style of building that she always focuses on because that’s what she prefers. Most of these items would just never fit that style so it’s no wonder that she doesn’t use these items all that often. Honestly, a lot of the stuff that she does use, I don’t think I’ve ever used myself because of the same reason.

Edward’s room was black and gold with a massive CD collection (organized by year), a fancy stereo, and a sofa (later replaced with a wrought iron four-poster bed with god bedding

I once woke up from a nightmare and hit my head in a ROUND WOODEN drawer and it hurted like the great dephs of hell, so if I had that one I'd propably be dead by now

One time when I was in kindergarten, I was lying in my bed, and I thought, “what would it be like if I rolled out of bed in my sleep?” So then I purposely rolled myself out of bed, pretending I was asleep, and I hit my eye on my bedside table. And I am so glad my parents decided to put a dull nightstand in my room.

@@KrisRN23935 Yes! The only downside is you have to be careful with the saturation or the value. If they're both too bright or they seem to be equal in darkness/light, that can ruin it. Kind of like how you need just the right shades of green and red or it'll look awful instead of amazing. (Bright red and green together are too much, but if one is less saturated and lighter or darker than the other color, it can look really good.) You also want to be mindful of the other complementary colors: a more purple shade of blue looks better with a more yellow shade of orange and a more greenish shade of blue looks better with a more reddish shade of orange. I hope that made sense; I know you didn't ask but I enjoy discussing colors with other people. XD

I like them too, I made a photo studio today with those exact couches in the waiting area. Of course I wouldn't use them in every build, and since Kayla usually doesn't build anything modern, that's probably why she doesn't like them
