@@Westside19th he’s really not. I tried to give it an open mind and played it for two weeks. The interior defense is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. You can’t stop anything in terms of layups or dunks unless you are a defender. Height differential doesn’t matter in the slightest in terms of contesting. There are some areas where live is promising, but there are way too many areas where it falls short
Ppl don’t realize that the ps4 version of nba live is ruined bc of SAVE WIZARD. There’s ppl walking around with 8ft builds and overly maxed out builds like i’m talking about ppl with 9,999,999 3pt type shit

I remember when NBA live used to be the only game option when it came to basketball. I stopped playing after 2005 2006 and all of a sudden this 2k thing blew up. I figured, why not I’ll get one 2K.. I purchased 2K 21 and that is the only NBA 2K I will ever purchase again.

I was playing 24 last night after mad long and damn if you still enjoy the game you have to be either a slave or a kid. It’s now like a mix of 2k18(shot contest/defense) and 22 (arcade feel)
What modes do you play in 2k24? If you only play park then your opinion on the game doesn't matter.
Idk what game ur playing but 24 is not arcadey. Dribbling is way to limited to have arcade feel.
When devs realize that NBA is not basketball, we will begin to see great basketball games come out.
What I mean is that, the biggest fees for making basketball games, is the licensing.
We don’t need a basketball game with the title “NBA” in it. We all make our own my players anyway. All a company would have to do, is make a dope basketball game, cut NBA out of it and the gamers will flock.
At 1:03 after they cross him over 98% of guards would’ve continued to dribble him right back into the play instead of shooting that smh.
Live can’t get any traction because any new features they come out with, 2K steals it. Plus they have all of the clientele. So after they rip off the new features live virtually have to think of something else to stay relevant. Look at how they copied the shot meter and analog dribbling.

I didnt know there was another basketball game till i seen nba live 16 or 17 with Westbrook decided to get the demo for 18 because i had already bought 2k that year nba live came out havent bought another 2k since i download 2k24 as ps monthly game so Igot it for free I loved playing with Ja and Ant and the newer rookies but its wasnt anywhere near as good as nba live 😂

How does it feel to be a company that spent all that time and money developing a game that the fans begged not to have?! Fans have been begging EA for Fight Night but EA chose to let Undisputed boxing take that market away from them as well... I think EA became arrogant with their success in the 90's and under estimated the importance of keeping the fans happy. The good news for gamers is that EA is going to have to do some really drastic things to "TRY" to pull fans away from 2k... lately rumors have been flying around that fans are unhappy but bruh this is 2024 Trump has exposed the American marketing tactics we're not dumb anymore...lol We know that EA is pushing aot of these content creators to try to persuade peoples opinion! I'd hate to be on the EA team in 2024.... It might even be too late to return with Fight night now as well....
